Thank you Dr. Shah for advising me to upgrade to the Crystal Clear Lens Implants when you performed my cataract surgery. I am 66 years old and have worn corrective eye glasses for reading, mid range and long range vision for almost 15 years. Within days after my second eye surgery, my eyes were examined and I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes at all three ranges, absolutely amazing! I have not worn corrective eye glasses since my last surgery! Not only the fact that I don't have to wear glasses, my new vision is much brighter, like someone replaced a 25 watt bulb with a 100 watt bulb. I am very impressed with Dr. Shah. I was apprehensive to change doctors since Dr. Mackenzie retired, but Dr. Shah was very easy to talk to and he LISTENED when is what I find lacking in many doctor's offices. I love the tech who performs all the tests - she is compassionate and extremely competent. A great person to keep - so do whatever is necessary for her to be happy and stay right where she is! Excellent Dr. Shah mentioned that I had some dandruff like symptoms on my eyelashes and said he was going to send me an e-mail about it. But nothing yet, or maybe the e-mail address was wrong?

My only complaint is the wait - it's always been a long wait to see the doctor. But then when I do, she takes her time with me so I'm sure she's doing the same with her other patients.

I have been going to Dr. MacKenzie since he did my first lens implant in 1997. He did the second one in 2009. I have never had and bad experience or problems with the lens implants and all of the follow ups have been very professional. I will miss Dr. MacKenzie but I am sure the practice will continue to provide me with excellent eye care.

Waited too long to see Dr. Shah. Staff is great. Did not solve my eye problem without further work and time. This routine to review the visit is very complicated.
