We LOVED the experience! Had our photos taken at 7am Thanksgiving morning and the lighting was perfect, the beaches were empty, and the photographer was excellent! I loved the selection of photos taken too. Since it was the holidays, I really wanted my pictures and CD. They arrived at my door about 2 weeks after we left Maui. The photo book is such a great collection -- absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much for everything and Mele Kalikimaka!

We recommend Grins to Go without hesitation. John was professional, efficient & a pleasure to work with during our photo session. He did a great job taking a variety of candid shots as well as posed shots. We chose the 8 AM slot because we wanted the vivid blue ocean to be pronounced in our photos. Our vacation photos turned out wonderful! Brenda was also an absolute pleasure to work with. From scheduling our photo shoot, confirming details, assisting us in choosing our photos, etc. The location of the Whalers Village kiosk was also great. If you are seeking photos in Maui, don't hesitate to go with Grins 2 Go!

I would likely recommend John and Brenda, at first it might seem expensive if you have eight or more people in the photos, but the speed and quality of their professional service was well worth it, totally satisfied, have already recommended them to three other families and newly weds planning on coming to Maui, you can trust them to capture your family vacation on film.

It was a very relaxing and fun experience. The photographer JT had his suggestions based on experience and he also asked and listened to what kind of photos we were looking for. Leslie was very helpful giving suggestions to what she felt was a great picture but also taking what we wanted into account. She never rushed us into making decisions, very patient woman. We have been wanting to do this for many years and the only thing we regret is not doing it sooner. Thank You !!!!

We had a family beach portrait done in 2009, and it was the first activity we planned when we decided to return in 2013. Leslie was helpful and professional, and we enjoyed working with JT on the beach in Lahaina. Everyone was accommodating and friendly- Mahalo!

Our photographer, John arrived right on time at our rental, ready to go. He was amazing and handled all 15 of us with ease. He delighted my grandchildren and had them cooperating and laughing the whole time. John was able to coerce the adults into following his direction! Our photos turned out to be beautiful and I know we will all be swept back to our family holiday on Maui when we look at our photos. Thank you so much!

This was such a great experience for us! We stayed at the Hyatt and saw your storefront and walked in and from that point on the experience we had was awesome! Brenda was very accommodating with booking a morning to have the pictures taken and the morning we viewed the proofs. John was delight and made the photo shoot so enjoyable and captured great shots of us. We had a great time with our "photo shoot" on the beach. We chose a Sunday morning slot which was great, because none of the businesses were open yet, the beach wasn't crowded, and it wasn't too hot! John was efficient and made the experience fun for our whole family (6 of us). Our pictures turned out great! Our photo shoot was complete in about an hour. Overall, we were really pleased with the experience given the fact that we were completely unfamiliar with the Maui area or the local photographers. I would recommend Grins 2 Go for others. Just note that any professional level photography is an investment, so be prepared to make the financial investment if you wish to capture your special vacation memories.

What an awesome experience for our entire family! John, our photographer, has a terrific personality and does a fantastic job with poses. We enjoyed the photo shoots and loved how John made us feel so comfortable throughout the session. We were smiling/laughing all the time! We had a great experience with John and Brenda. John was a lot of fun during the photo shoot and made it easy for us to smile and smile a lot, which we all know is tough to do.
