The class packed a lot of info in a day. The material was presented in an organized and interactive manner. Real life examples drove topics home. The test at end of class captures knowledge retained. I feel a lot ,ore comfortable beginning my boating journey. Captain Scott presents material in a nice manner, I really liked how he reviews every chapter with questions and answers. I would recommend this class to anyone!

Had a great course. Feel confident with boating safety. New exactly what to do out on my new boat when I was the overtaking vessel in relation to the stand on vessel which was a state marine police vessel. I tooted my horn but startled them because I guess most don't do that. Ha Ha. Thanks to Scott.!Great teacher.

well it was a long day, but captain scott was through and talkative and mixed it up a little with videos and breaks. he does have a good sense of humar. he is a very professional instructor. he also is honest in what he tells you. My son who is 19, and myself took this course on a Saturday and thought it was great. All the information was given in the appropriate amount of time and reinforced so that the test was a breeze. I do have 45 years of boating experience, essentially all of my life, but rules constantly change. I think that Scott made enough points about the safety issues that it made some people think twice about just going out and buying a boat for kicks. Boating is not just going out and dropping anchor and tossing back a few "cold ones"... Thanks Scott and Sea Boat

It was everything I expected. The instruction was experienced. The class was convenient and the cost was what I expected.

Prior to this class, I had zero knowledge of anything remotely nautical, in fact I had never even been on a boat. But, my dear friends have a boat and wave runners and urged me to get my license so I could have fun with them on the water this summer. Captain Scott had an easy manner and presented the abundance of information in an easy to understand way, and a repetitive way which is great for comprehension of the material. Especially the rules of the "road" part, the infamous Chapter 3! The class moved along and I did feel not only prepared for just the actual test, but I very much feel that I have retained the information, especially the most important safety parts! My one constructive critiscm would be to maybe bring in "props" just for some effect and to add some liveliness. For example, there were 5 different types of life vests, bring some in for show and tell, it is more effective than just a picture in a book. Maybe bring in a fire extinguisher and actually show how to use it. I for one have never used one. Props may just provide some visual break and add to the retention of the information. I thought the class was informative and excellent, and I left there confident about boating safety. Thanks so much!

Good instructions and clear to the point of the testing

This course was very professional and enjoyable. The instructor was very well prepared and abundant with additional information.

Capt.scott was really helpful with all the questions I had and didn't go to fast through the reading and questions. The end result for me I passed and left really happy. I definitely would recommend this class to anyone that needs to take this class up.
