Last Friday, one of my molar caps fell off will chewing some white rice. At first, I thought something crunchy and hard was in the rice, and thought, "What in the world am I eating?" Fortunately, it wasn't anything weird in the rice to be alarmed about, especially since it was my first "meal" in a few days with my ulcerative colitis flare-up. Well, I did what any person should do in that moment. I called Dr. Joel Edgar, who also happens to be a friend and fellow member of our church life group. I messaged him my situation and he immediately directed me to the right source: Advanced Dentistry of Spring. He even answered my preliminary questions, offered guidance on what to do in the meantime with my crown and other teeth in preparation, and presented the costs and options upfront. He then sent me the direct phone line to call first thing on Monday to schedule a free consult directly with him. You see, I forget to mention, he was away on a family vacation in Austin, Texas, with his family when I messaged him, and he took time away to personally aid me in my need. While the crown isn't a huge deal to some, it was for me in my current health state, because I had been suffering from severe ulcerative colitis flare-up (which sends me to the bathroom at a moment's notice, with bloody stools...this had been going on for several days, every hour, all day long), and so my body was weak, and my emotions were low. The crown falling off was just another potential scare of, "I'm dying! I'm malnourished because of this gut problem." He soothed those fears, got me after the weekend was up, and first thing that morning (at a time that suited me, mind you), and the entire staff was supportive, kind, and timely. They made me feel welcomed and loved. They even took care to ensure I knew here the bathroom was and could go at any moment if my stomach forced me to (I had informed them of my health situation). Let me tell you...that alone sapped away a TON of anxiety I had before going in there, thinking I'd be in the seat for hours, unable to get up to the bathroom with my predicament. That was not even close to the reality! Judy, the kind assistant who helped Dr. Joel Edgar in the room, was a joy to be around. She cared for me, treated me with kindness and respect, always ensured I was comfortable and asked if I needed to take a break (she knew about my bathroom problem), and made me feel so relaxed that I didn't need to go at all the entire time I was in the seat (x-rays, prep, cleaning, consult, and all). And then... Because Advanced Dentistry of Spring is so epic and customer experience oriented, and strive to deliver the best experience and services possible, they had an in-house milling machine that molded my crown right there in the office. I didn't even have to leave to get my new crown. Normally, I'd have to get a temporary one, come back in a few days to get permanent, and then make any modifications as needed. At Advanced Dentistry of Spring, it all happened in less than 45 minutes. Not only that, their use of advanced software and technology ensured we got the precise and exact fit for my replacement using their digital machine. Talk about amazing! And even better than all of this... I got to enjoy an amazing meal last night with my family with more peace of mind, and have eaten several more since then ALL with my new crown, and it feels wonderful! p.s. Dr. Joel Edgar also personally followed up with me to see how my new crown (and I) were doing. He's a true friend, true professional, and he and his staff and assistants are all top-notch. I'll never go anywhere else again. And their building and atmosphere has the most soothing and welcoming ambiance. It kind of feels like you're going into a luxurious aromatherapy and spa retreat to have all your worries, fears, stresses, and pains wiped away. And in a way, they did just that. Thank you Advanced Dentistry of Spring. You're amazing! And thank you again Dr. Joel Edgar and Judy (and Liz at the counter!) for your love, kindness, and expert help.

This was my first visit to Advanced Dentistry of Spring. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant and competent. They answered all of my questions, explained things to me, and got me in to see Dr. Edgar rather quickly for an aching tooth. Dr. Edgar was very kind and very patient in explaining everything so I fully understood what was going on with my teeth. I will be going back for some dental work and my regular dental check ups and cleanings. I'm glad I found this dental office.

I had a 9 am appt and was seen on time. The front office personnel are friendly and very efficient. My hygienist is super nice and I believe she does a good job. Dr. Edgar is professional but friendly and I'm confident in his skills.

Advanced Dentistry of Spring, Texas is in a category all by themselves. I have always been going to the practice as a patient for many years, and I have always been satisfied with their work. From the time I entered the door, the dental-visit feeling disappeared by the friendly and professional reception at the portal, and this same friendliness, sincerity and professionalism s maintained throughout my entire visit. Dr. Glass and his team of professionals are not only what one would recommend as an exceptionally good dentist to family and friends, but also superb experts in their respective field. I had fillings in two of my upper left molars two weeks ago, and this expertise came through in the discharge of their profession, in a manner that I did not even realize that they were working until they told me it’s all done, then I silently said to myself, God, they aaarrre good. No pain, no feeling of discomfort, no feeling of apprehension. This all took place in a facility comprising a clean environment, state-of-the-art tools, and even music and TV to sooth me while sitting in the dental chair. I came out relaxed, and look forward to making my next appointment. Dr. Glass and his team are unassuming, and down to earth, dispensing excellent dental care, in a relaxed environment. I hasten to recommend him to all who are in need of dental health care.

I discovered Advanced Dentistry through a flyer in the mail several years ago, and I am so glad i did. Dr. Glass and his team are superb. As a nervous patient i have always been treated with total respect. In fact, just visiting his office is a pleasant experience. Everyone on his team are delightful, helpful, courteous and so friendly. I have never felt pushed into dental work that might not be necessary, as i have with previous dentists. I can absoultely recommend his staff for any dental work, from cleaning to crowns. They are all great!

I appreciate being able to get an appointment for a regular cleaning on very short notice, especially during Thanksgiving week. Madeline did a great job cleaning and explaining the condition of my teeth and gums with photographs.
