My wife and I are very happy with the level of service provided to us at Asante Dental Centre. We appreciate, very much, the honest advice, friendliness and quality of care provided by Dr. Shivji and also are very happy with the friendliness and care by the rest of the team.

I have been coming to Asante Dental Centre for several years and every hygienist and dentist I have been treated by was friendly, efficient and communicated clearly. The front desk staff are equally friendly and proficient. Despite the reality that going to the dentist is not my favourite activity, this is always a pleasant experience.

I just want to thank Dr. Lam and his very friendly team at Asante Dental Centre - Yaletown for providing absolutely first class service. I have now been there several times to have my teeth problems attended to and each time the end result was much better than what I had hoped for. The needed work was explained beforehand in detail, in easy to understand layman's language, and the process completed promptly. Everyone in the office comes across as committed, professional and extremely capable. Accordingly, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Dr. Lam and his team. My next appointment is coming up in three months and I actually look forward to it.

My first time at Asante Dental Centre was an absolute pleasure. Annie was/is incredibly knowledgeable and Dr. Shivji is the best dentist I've met! He was both gentle and kind as he did my cleaning and really took the time to explain all my needs to me. Like most people, my main concern was/is cost and Asante is both affordable and friendly.

I was very well treated for all staff of Asante, Dr. Shivji, his assistant, the hygienist, and the receptionist. They are all very friendly and professional. The street view from the dentist chair is awesome!

I spent a lot of time and research looking for a new dentist and am grateful to have found this one. Everything at Asante Dental Yaletown is what you would HOPE for but rarely find elsewhere. The entire staff is extremely pleasant, courteous, and genuinely helpful. You never feel pressured into treatments you do not require but are never cut short from those that you do. Above all, your questions and concerns are actually heard! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the space itself is lovely, modern, and clean. Dr. Kim is excellent and everyone definitely goes out of their way to ensure you are happy with your experience. I would, without a doubt, recommend their services!

I found it was very much a teamwork approach to my dental care. Annie - Front Desk. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and she is good. Her desk is postioned right at the point of entry to the warm, wood panelled office and the first thing you see is Annie with her wide sparkling smile and her intent to engage you. There is no waiting while she completes another task or is turned away, even if she is just finishing with another patient, the greeting and eye contact is immediate. She is humorous and seems to genuinely enjoy engaging her patients. She also excels as the last point of contact when your appointment is over, very efficient with the paperwork and the navigation around the insurance service providers. Annie always made me feel like "leave the worries to me" Jo Mei - dental hygenist. I hope I got the spelling right, that is very important these days I think. The Internet says the Japanese meaning of this name is "Spread Light" and states "People with this name have a deep inner desire for love and companionship, and want to work with others to achieve peace and harmony." This is a very apt description of the care I received at her hands. She always greets me with a big smile and engages me in small talk about how I am, events coming up, etc. which I find relaxes me prior to any procedure. She seems very attuned to her patient during the procedures, constantly doing a sort of pulsecheck throughout to make sure I am comfortable and OK with what is going on. Dr. Kim - The Dentist. OK, he is the glamour boy, the fellow who gets the top billing, but of course the fellow who is most likely to feel the heat during any of the more complicated procedures. He is very professional and knowledgeable and down to earth, able to explain things clearly and concisely, not content with make-do, not willing to let it go until he is SURE that it is right. Asante wins and when they win, so do I!

I found all the staff and dentists to be very friendly, caring and felt extremely comfortable during all our visits so far. I would highly recommend Asante Dental Centre and wish you all best & success in all your future endeavors.

Dr. Shivji is patient, gentle and takes the time to explain what he is about to do and why. He deferred a treatment at my request while I was already there for an hour long appointment, clearly putting my interest above financial reward. Dental hygiene and office staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints - I would recommend their services.

I've been terrified of the dentist since I was a kid. This was the first time EVER that I've had to go though the filling process and experienced ZERO pain, felt relaxed, and actually am not dreading my next appointment. Dr. Shivji spent the whole time ensuring that I was comfortable and wasn't feeling anything. The top-notch tools and techniques they use were certainly apparent. And of course, the N20 helped me through the rest of the way!

Who enjoys going to the dentist? Like most others, I do not find this a fun experience – I accept it as a fact of life. However, Dr. Hussein Shivji of the Asante Dental Centre in Yaletown, is unique in his profession. He is the absolute essence of gentleness, care and comfort – one who has taken away all my preconceived notions of pain and discomfort. Simply said, Dr. Shivji and his dedicated team are the best! I boldly and confidently recommend him as your gentle and caring dentist too.

The quality of care is excellent and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Convenient downtown location. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know, I have had nothing but a great experience.

I've been very happy with all the work I've had done at Asante Dental Centre. They use up-to-date equipment, technology and methodologies, all the staff is pleasant and friendly and they do a good job of an overall dental management plan.
