Dr. Hayley Wurzel is a board certified pediatrician who completed her pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital in 2002. She received her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in 1999 and her B.S. in Environmental Science from Brown University in 1995. As a mom, she understands the challenges parents face while trying to raise happy, healthy kids. When she's not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips to the St. Louis Zoo, Missouri Botanical Garden, and The Magic House.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wurzel. She makes sure to listen to any and all concerns we might have, does a great job of talking to our kids and including them in the conversation. Communication has been great and I have always received a timely response to put my mind at ease or to talk me through the next steps for treatment.

Dr. Wurzel is so wonderful with our kids. She is compassionate and always reassuring. Dr. Wurzel's kind and gentle disposition makes her a wonderful pediatrician and always eases any concerns we might have and makes our kids feel so comfortable. Her nursing staff is sweet and caring, too!

Dr. Wurzel has been our daughter's pediatrician since she was born 9 years ago, and the level of care and compassion she has provided us with has always been outstanding. She makes our daughter feel very comfortable and always interacts with her instead of just asking us questions. I would highly recommend Blue Fish Pediatrics and Dr. Wurzel to anyone who is looking for a pediatrician.

Dr. Wurzel is wonderful! We’ve gone to her since my oldest, who is almost 12, was a baby. Both of my children love her. She listens to everything we say and is very thorough. Dr. Wurzel also takes as much time with us as we need. You never feel rushed. She’s kind and compassionate and takes great care of my kids.

Her quality of care is amazing and she doesn’t hesitate to bring in experts when needed. She is very relatable and compassionate as well. She even talks directly to my kids and not just to me. Overall amazing!!

Dr. Wurzel provides excellent care in the office and over the phone. While on call overnight, she recommended I take my infant daughter to the ER for a fever and remained in contact with the ER physician to help provide appropriate care. She and her staff listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. As a new mom, I know some of my concerns and questions may have seemed silly, but I always felt listened to and cared about. Dr. Wurzel always encourages me to call with any concerns or questions at all. The office is managed well and wait times are short. I highly recommend Dr. Wurzel.

Every time that I have brought my children to Dr. Wurzel it has been smooth process, even during COVID times. The staff is friendly and the quality of care is evident.
