Always friendly, informative and accomodating. Bulverde Animal Hospital is my regular Vet for my four dogs. There's been several times that emergencies have come up during their hours of operations and they saw my dog(s) right away. That goes for last minute boarding as well...selected for jury duty but you don't find out if you have to report until after 5 pm the Friday before...all the kennels were booked but Bulverde Animal Hospital had room for my babies. The staff is very friendly and thorough in explaining what's going on.

I am absolutely thrilled I took my dogs to Bulverde Animal Hospital. I was in the process of researching vets when I ran across their name. From the moment I made my first appointment, I felt like I had been friends with the staff for a long time. They were so friendly, and didn't rush me when I explained that I had 4 dogs with different personalities. I was even more thrilled with the care and attention they gave my 'kids.' I was very comfortable and secure with the calm, patient exam by Dr Koffman who seems to have a deep understanding of the pet/human relationship. I am particularly pleased about their hours of operation. They have bent over backwards making it easy to make appointments with my hectic schedule. I highly recommend Bulverde Animal Hospital!

The staff is always very friendly and know me, my family and my extended family, my pets (all 7 of them) very well. I really LOVE the extended hours. I work until 5 and then the 281 traffic would make it hard for me, but staying open late resolved those issues. Thank you SO much for that!!! The quality of care is "top notch" and thats why I entrust my babies to them.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about BAH. The staff has al,ways been helpful and all of them seem to care about the treatment of my pet. Rufus always comes home to me, clean and happy. I will keep using this facility as long as I can. I appreciate their kindness.

Only words can really describe how great this animal hospital really is. Dr. Heather Bunting along with Dr.kirk kothmann always are willing to go the extra mile to do what they can to save you pet. Dr. kothmann has spent over 20 years working days and nights to make this animal hospital the great hopital that it is. Stephenie and the rest of staff are the best. When you go into the hospital you can feel the all the love that these people have for pets. They are simply amazing! it's no wonder why its one of the best animal hospitals in the country !! Wonderful care provided by the staff at Bulverde Animal Hospital. Highly knowledgeable, conscientious, compassionate staff, extremely convenient hours (till 9:00 PM most nights without an after-hours charge), and conservative testing and care make Bulverde Animal Hospital an ideal partner in the care of my dogs. Prices are affordable and the docs never require testing or treatment that is not essential. Their online prescription option is great too. Allows me to save some money on the meds a couple of my guys need.
