I can confidently check all three boxes above - my experience with Dr. Freeman has produced a successful outcome with minimal complications, pain relief and improved mobility, alongside compassionate care and support from Dr. Freeman and his team. From my first consultation, he was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate and gave me the information I needed to make a decision about whether to move forward with surgery, never pressuring me to go under the knife. He performed my hamstring repair surgery in May, and 12 weeks later I am doing incredibly well and making great progress toward my return to sport. Dr. Freeman knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with, as are the rest of the staff at JOI, and I really appreciate the convenience of being able to schedule appointments online. While I hope I never need him again, I will absolutely recommend him to friends in my running community who find themselves with an injury.

Just got my final release on my 2nd hip replacement done by Dr. Freeman. For this surgery I had almost no pain at all. In both cases I was out walking with no assistance within 6 weeks(no walker, crutches or cane). I would highly recommend Dr. Freeman and his JOI staff for the best hip replacements possible.

My 17-year-old son has seen Dr. Freeman and his team since he was 13 for sports injury to his hips. Dr. Freeman has always been thoughtful and compassionate regarding his care. He listens and considers all possibilities for injuries and treatment options. My son ended up having surgery for FAI and labral tears in both hip joints. The surgeries were painless with no complications. His mobility has improved by leaps and bounds. He is back to play with a whole new range to his game. My wife and I feel as though Dr. Freeman and his team are part of the family at this point, and we wouldn't see anyone else! Amazing team, very highly recommend!!

I had knee replacement surgery on June 12, 2025. Dr. Freeman performed the surgery using the MAKO robotic assisted surgical technique. After 5 weeks, I have obtained full range of motion and am off most of my pain medications. I am walking again without a cain which is incredible. Dr. Freeman and his entire staff gave me very clear instructions on what to expect and what to do both pre and post procedure. They are compassionate and genuinely desire to help people get their mobility back. I am so impressed that I scheduled surgery on the other knee today. As a side note, Dr. Freeman reattached my wife’s hamstring after a bad fall one year ago. She has experienced similar results. I highly recommend Dr. Freeman and the JOI team!

Dr. Freeman and his team have been absolutely spectacular to work with. His team takes the time to make me feel heard, comforted, and fully supported. Things are always clearly explained to me in a way that I can easily understand. Dr. Freeman did a fantastic job repairing my right hip, the pain is gone and I've been able to start enjoying life again. He is working on my left hip now, and I have zero worries or concerns as Dr. Freeman and his team has more than earned my full trust. If you're in pain and looking for a team you can trust, I'd highly recommend Dr. Freeman and his team!

My experience with JOI and Dr.Freeman was exceptional. The staff and all doctors who were involved were compassionate supportive and always took the time to explain all aspects of the up coming procedure (total hip replacement) they even answered questions that I didn’t think to ask. Months be for the surgery I would play a round of golf. The following day I struggled to walk the pain was excruciating. After three weeks of physical therapy I was able to climb and descend stairs pain free after 8 weeks of therapy I began 50% golf swings once a week. At te weeks I played 18 holes with minimal tightness in my hip flexor. Twenty minutes of ice I was good as new. I would recommend JOI and Dr. Freeman for anyone that is seeking orthopedic surgery for pain relief and increased mobility. I am a new old man.
