What I appreciate most about Dr. Lerner is his philosophy of treating the whole person. He uses nontoxic treatments and methods that will facilitate oral health without causing any harm to the rest of the body. He identifies the causes of the symptoms and checks for compatibility of dental materials through muscle testing; to determine which filling material is best. He explains the treatment and interprets x-rays so that the procedures are understood. Dr. Lerner is knowledgeable, skilled and gentle with a pleasant attitude and upbeat demeanor. This feeling pervades the office and is evident with his whole staff; love the music! There is great care in working with insurance and in making appointments. Jayne, the hygienist, is direct and thorough and makes an extra effort to explain home dental care. I have been with Dr. Lerner for 4 years. A few months before my first visit, I had a bout with “mysterious” symptoms. My progressive doctor determined through a series of urine and blood tests, that I had high mercury toxicity and I started chelation therapy. Dr. Lerner identified the cause which was mercury coming from a tooth that had root canal over 45 years ago. He recommended an Endodontist who performed microsurgery. Dr. Lerner worked collaboratively with both of these doctors and the mercury levels are almost normal. I highly recommend Dr. Lerner to my family and all my friends.

Dr. Lerner and his staff were extremely thorough during my cleanings, as well as when I had a new crown put on my tooth. It was almost to my surprise, because I had not received that level of care before at my previous dental offices. Everybody who I talked and interacted with at the office was extremely personable and very accommodating when it came to scheduling. Their level of professionalism, combined with a true desire to help their patients, has transformed me into a life long patient. Anybody that honestly wants to take responsibility for their dental hygiene/care should come to this office. My time with Dr. Lerner and his staff has truly changed my dental habits, and for that I am grateful.
