I have had back pain on and off for years after a particularity bad episode i decided i couldn't go on like this and choose to seek help. Cymru Chiropractic Clinic is local so i choose it at first for convenience. However i can easily say it is the best thing I've ever done and should have done it years ago. My problem was immediately recognised by Trevor and from the very first appointment i felt a difference. After a few months of re-alignment sessions i have been pain free and i can do 'normal' things easily...like jumping out of bed in the morning rather than crawling, My overall experience has been excellent, the staff are friendly and professional, the communication, price and service is amazing i can not recommend the clinic enough

I cannot thank Trevor enough for the amazing feeling of wellbeing I have after just 8 treatments. I first contacted Cymru Chiropractic end of January 2018. I had extreme pain in hip when walking and also rising from a sitting position. Ladies in reception are extremely welcoming and helpful.A very big thank you. I have recommended Trevor to friends if ever required.

I have been suffering from back and hip pain since the beginning of May 2017, and have received two different diagnosis so far. In desperation I contacted Trevor on the advice of a friend. Trevor is very knowledgeable in his field, and is a thoroughly nice chap. After my very first consultation I left feeling certain that he would be able to help, and he has. It is a long, slow process but, for the first time since May 2017 I am getting through the day without painkillers of any kind, and have made enough progress to be prescribed a set of gentle exercises. As long as you are realistic in your expectations you will not be disappointed. There is no "quick fix" for chiropractic problems but if you persevere your patience will be rewarded. I would thoroughly recommend Trevor and his staff to anyone considering chiropractic care.

Well right from the beginning the reception I had was amazing and the receptionist was helpful and very pleasant. From the moment I had my first meeting with Trevor, I was put at ease as I was very optimistic about chiropractors and what they do. After he explained everything I felt a bit more relaxed and looked forward to my first session. Ever since having my first session I have felt better overall and am no longer suffering with any lower back pain. And I am getting even more better, as well as having the treatment, Trevor also gave me a few stretching exercises, which have helped significantly. Would definitely recommend Trevor to anyone and would give him 5*. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you in November.

I first went to the clinic in September last year with immobilising pain across my neck and shoulder. Several treatments later the mobility was back and the pain had receded. Subsequent regular 'maintenance' visits keep up the good work. I would recommend Cymru Chiropractic to anyone with similar problems.

My teenage daughter has received regular treatment for approximately 1 year, due to poor posture and physical stess associated with high intensity exercise. Prior to treatment she suffered pain daily and was not able to fully participate in sport. She now experiences slight discomfort and reduced range of back movement which indicates she is due treatment (approx every 6-8 weeks). Staff are welcoming and professional and treatments are very thorough and unrushed. Trevor offers recommendations and advice, in particular relating to basic maintenance such as mobility and stretching exercises - extremely helpful for non sporty parents. Have recommended Cymru Chiropractic Clinic to colleagues and friends, who have received similar experience to us.

I moved house to a new area and needed a new chiropractor. I looked on line and found the cymru chiropractic site very professional and informative, so I booked an appointment. The care from both the reception staff and Trevor has been fantastic, friendly, welcoming and effective treatment, with follow up hints and tips amd advice by email. I would recommend the practice.

I had never been to a Chiropractic before so I was unsure what to accept. I was in so much pain and only had a limit time to be pain free due to a up and coming holiday. The doctors had only prescribed pain killers which was not curing the course. From the onset the experience was pleasant from the surroundings to receptionist. Trevor was amazing once he examined me he knew what the problem was and indeed he got me fit for my holiday. I highly recommend Trevor to anyone who is suffering from pain

When i first visited the clinic I could not stand straight due to myback pain. When I arrived the receptionist was very warm and welcoming , on my first visit Trevor endeavoured to find the root of my problem once I explained my symptoms he knew straight away how to deal with it. Future visits were very successful I had a neck problem which caused me unbelievable pain after a few visits the symptom eased , I was given some exercises to do at home of which I did diligently . Thro Trevor's expertise I'm now pain free with his professional advice on how to go forward with a few exercises I enjoy doing. The fee is lower than most competitors to me the professionalism is much higher as you only have treatment to correct the problem no unnecessary visits if not needed. Trevor was my first port of call after hearing stories of how good he is he is not just a chiropractor he is also a Dr with invaluable experience. I recommend Trevor and congratulate him on such helpful staff .

needing to find out and treat the cause of lower back pain and hip pain was made easy from dr horan.i shall see him until our goal of pain free treatment is established. then looking after myself to avoid unecessary treatment going forward for a pain free happy life.

A thorough initial consultation gave me confidence in the diagnosis that was given. I noticed a reduction in pain within days of the first treatment after having this problem for a year. Before I went to Trevor I heard some horror stories about other chiropractors that my friends/colleagues had visited and a lot of people also thought chiropractors were a waste of time. After having treatment with Trevor it has genuinely change my health and wellbeing for the better and has also improved my body's sporting ability beyond limits I never knew I had. I would highly recommend a visit to these wonderful people and believe that they will be honest with you and can improve you health and wellbeing. My first time at the clinic I was very nervous as I did not know what to expect. Upon walking through the door I was made to feel welcome and calm and everything was explained to me in detail. I was receiving weekly treatments from Trevor and from day 1 I started to feel the benefits of this treatment. I now go back for regular treatment. The people at the clinic are friendly and always make each appointment enjoyable.

After being diagnosed with a bilateral herniated disc in my neck and the only prospect medically according to my consultant was an injection into the neck which was only for pain relief and carried the risk of a stroke. I went from a very active cross fit training cycling and weight training 50year old to a very depressed inactive man. Someone recommended Trevor to me and he literally turned my life around, after a few sessions I felt like my old self and have since been able to start back to cross fit, running and cycling. after indescribable pain I have gone to virtually pain free, he gave me the belief and confidence that unfortunately the nhs were unable to provide. I would recommend Trevor to anyone who is suffering from sports injury and for maintenance. His forecast for treatment was spot on and personally I have found him to be extremely professional.

I went to see Dr Trevor Horan on recommendation from friends and word of mouth. I had damaged the muscles in my neck very badly and was in severe pain. I was made to feel welcome and convinced that something could be done to help me. Over the last few months I have received treatment from Dr. Trevor, from twice weekly to monthly sessions, each time feeling better and more pain free. Having experienced low back pain occasionally in the past, I decided that when the pain became extreme recently, to find out if there was some other way to alleviate this, other than the pain killers that I had been taking. From recommendations and internet search I found out that there was an alterative i.e. CHIROPRACTIC and there was a 'Cymru Chiropratic' Clinic in Pontypool.I read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. At my very first appointment, I was welcomed by a very friendly and professional lady, Wendy,one of the several like-wise receptionists at the clinic. I was given a form to complete, regarding my health and then met Dr Horan (Trevor). Our discussions were based around my problem, and whether his treatment would/would not be beneficial to me. Trevor diagnosed my problem immediately and apparently is quite common,in that my pelvic bone needed realigning as the joints had become inflamed. Trevor decided he would be able to help me, through treatment. After a week of self applied ice pack & light exercise, the manipulation treatment started,twice a week initially, now reduced to once a week. I experience slight discomfort for the day following treatment,as expected. As well as in-clinic treatment,I was advised by Trevor to continue self application of ice pack and gentle walking;i found both these very beneficial. Finally,I would like to add that whilst my treatment is still on going,I'm very positive fot the future.I'm pleased to say I haven't needed to take any pain killers thoughout my treatment. I thoroughly recommend 'Cymru Chiropractic' for their Treatment, Advice, & Support.

I first came to Cymru Chiropractic following a recommendation. I was initially sceptical as I had previously been to physio which had not helped my back and hip pain. After an initial course of treatment I was having significant relief and 3 years later I am still visiting for regular adjustments even throughout my recent pregnancy. I would totally recommend women to consider chiropractic adjustments in pregnancy having suffered with SPD in my first pregnancy. My 2nd with chiropractic adjustment was pain free. Trevor and the team are consistent in their quality care. I am always met by a smiling face and friendly manor. I can not.commend the team enough on their great service.

Excellent communication from front of house staff and Dr Trevor is amazing. I went there in the summer with very restricted neck movement. Intense treatment began and now I visit once per month. I'm almost like an owl! Chiropractors should be offered on the NHS as the pain I was experiencing was due to simple posture problems. I was fortunate I suppose because I kept to my end of the bargain and did the prescribed exercises. It's a 50 50 relationship and it's important to do your bit too! The practice is in a great location with free parking close by.

Brilliant emergency care when in real pain Brilliant reception. Wendy receptionist is very professional and wellcoming Brilliant reminders of up coming appointments We have monthly appointments which keep us pain free. Trevor is always able to give us exercises to maintain positive back wellbeing. Opening hours mean you can go after work. Really convenient.if anyone ever mentions back pain I recommend Trevor with absolute confidence.

Having struggled with back and leg pain for some months and thinking it was 'one of those things that would go away with a few painkillers, Trevor has relieved my pain and improved my mobility by 98% in just a few weeks. I visited Cymru Chiropractic following a chronic 20 year problem with my neck that i was no longer able to manage and was in constant pain. Various treatments over the years had failed to resolve the underlying issue. After a very through consultation with Trevor he explained a treatment plan that over a course of time would resolve the underlying cause of my constant pain. I'm now half way through my treatment and the difference it has made is fantastic. Whilst i still have some minor discomfort on some days, with the remaining treatment and doing the exercises prescribed i am confident i will become pain free and regain full movement in my neck. I would recommend anyone who experiences problems to make an appointment. Trevor and his team are very warm and welcoming and what i found really convenient was the evening appointments so i didn't have to take time off work.
