I was very pleased. The entire procedure (extraction of t the remains of a fractured tooth beyond repair and installation of an implant) was painless, fully explained in advance, and expertly executed. Dr. P's staff were extremely attentive and effective. I'm now several months after completion of the procedure, and all's well. Although I don't wish this on anyone, if you must, from a patient's point of view, I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Puterman and staff if the need arises. JZS

My experience with Dr. Putterman and his staff was fantastic.. The staff was professional, caring and made me feel at ease. I was prepared with good pt. teaching preoperatively, and the recovery was easier than I anticipated. Dr. Putterman is EXCELLANT, and along with his assistant Stephanie - I received the best quality of care possible.

I could not be more pleased with the treatment I've received from Dr. Puterman and his superb staff. Dr. Puterman's skill is impressive and the office equipment is state of the art, but what truly sets his practice apart is the professional and personal nature of the treatment he and his staff provide. I saw Dr. Puterman on an emergency basis. Even though the timing of my visit was inconvenient for him and his staff, they bent over backwards to accommodate me. You would have thought that they were imposing on me, instead of the other way around! The staff could not have been more pleasant, gracious, and thoughtful. The next step is the implant. I have the utmost confidence that this procedure will go as well as the others. I'm almost looking forward to it!

I was so nervous about my 4 gum grafts. Terrified would be a better word. But it was not bad at all! Dr. Puterman is so gentle and skilled. I hardly had any pain or swelling. The staff works like a smooth machine. They all support each other and the patient. Quite frankly, it has been an astoundingly positive experience.

I hit the jackpot when I found Dr. Israel Puterman from a search I did on the Internet looking for a periodontist. He had great reviews, but you never know until you meet a Dr. and his staff in person. First let me note, I'm very nervous about going to the dentist, so I'm very particular about who I decide to continue seeing. Because Dr. Puterman's primary concern was my comfort level and my understanding of everything he was going to do, I will most definitely continue to go to him. Further, his office is clean and modern, and he has the most pleasant staff I've ever met in a doctor's office. Dr. Puterman also offered to refer me to other dentists he recommended in the area for services his office didn't perform (veneers, etc). If you're looking for a wonderful Doctor, who's also very kind and friendly, I highly recommend Dr. Puterman and his lovely staff.

Dr. Israel Puterman was so highly recommended by my trusted dentist that I didn't have any doubt about his professionalism before I arrived for a cracked tooth extraction and eventual implant. But the entire experience was even better than I expected. I chose to remain awake for both procedures so I was more than a little nervous about how they would feel. Because of the numbing involved, especially for the implant, I had to take some extra time and get used to it. Dr. Puterman and his staff were extremely reassuring and thoughtful. Dr. Puterman gave me all the time I needed and shared his own similar experience which helped me. He answered all my questions and called that weekend to check on me. Amazingly enough, after the implant I used only one 800 mg. ibuprofen and nothing else. The recovery was incredibly smooth. I highly recommend Dr. Puterman to anyone needing this type of service.

The review is long-overdue! I highly recommend Dr. Puterman. First of all, his office staff are outstanding—thoughtful, accommodating, and kind. They take the time to meet with you to make sure that you fully understand the procedures and any costs involved. Also, I had to cancel two follow-up appointments due to snowy and icy road conditions and they worked with me to accommodate my crazy schedule and work hours. I first saw Dr. Puterman for advice on a root-canal tooth that had cracked and was pulled by my regular dentist, who told me that the tooth was also infected. Dr. Puterman assured me that the tooth was not infected and he provided guidance as to the type of implant that would work best in my situation. I was greatly confused in trying to decide between a zirconium or titanium implant, and extensive internet research was only making the situation worse. Also, I knew that after having the tooth pulled that I did not want to be awake for the implant. Dr. Puterman then spent a great deal of time with me during the consultation portion of the visit, listening to all my concerns and addressing all my issues. He is warm and personable and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Puterman’s operating facilities and the care they took in preparing me for surgery made me feel confident that I had made the right decision in opting for sedation. I awoke feeling rested and peaceful with a new implant and bone graft, and was escorted to my friend’s waiting car in a wheelchair by one of his assistants. They also provided detailed instructions on steps I should take to improve my recovery, and I received a personal call from Dr. Puterman himself to make sure everything was okay. Last but not least, the office is beautiful, it has the latest technology…and a beautiful view if you need to meditate, as I did, to alleviate any unwarranted anxiety. Dr. Puterman himself is skilled in what he does and he stays on top of the latest developments, which gave me confidence in choosing him to do my implant.

My general dentist referred me to Dr Puterman for gum graft surgery. He was very insistent I only go to him. I'm glad he did. The procedure itself was painless, and though the recovery was pretty uncomfortable (for the first week), it wasn't all that bad. Nothing compared to the horror stories I heard from friends who had this done elsewhere. Dr Puterman charged more than other doctors, but I would wholeheartedly say he was worth it. I hope I never need this procedure again; however, if I did I would only go to Dr Puterman.

Wonderful from start to finish. The staff were helpful and attentive, Dr. Puterman answered any and all questions, procedure went perfectly, and recovery was seamless. Dr. Puterman even called us the evening of the procedure to make sure our son was comfortable and healing well. We would highly recommend Dr. Puterman's practice to others.

I recently had several gum grafts performed by Dr. Puterman. I had been told this procedure was miserable and painful so I was apprehensive to say the least. Dr. Puterman did a skillful job. I had a minimal amount of pain and the experience was much less difficult than I expected. My 32 year- old- son needs the same procedure and I would ONLY send him to Dr. Puterman. I can safely say he is extremely qualified and I would recommend him for any procedure he performs. As an extra plus, his staff is extremely professional and warm with great follow up.

Dr. Puterman runs a totally professional office which is rare these days..appointment times honored, informed care and excellent follow up on services.... To put it simply ,Dr. Puterman make bummer experience( i.e. I need an implant ) into a excellent medical experience and we can't say that too often.Did I mention painless?

Dr. Puterman's professional competence is unsurpassed. My dental condition required serious attention by an expert dentist, and Dr. Puterman provided superb care in every respect. After a complex surgical procedure lasting several hours, I was surprised and delighted to have experienced only minimum discomfort. What I appreciated most, aside from the magnificent results of the surgery, was the great patience exhibited by Dr. Puterman, who offered full explanations of each step in the process as many times as I needed to understand completely what was involved. From the first time I visited his office, Dr. Puterman and his marvelous staff earned my complete confidence. I am not a good patient once I am sitting in the chair and was dreading the whole implant procedure. From the start, Dr. P and his staff made the entire process easy to deal with. Their professionalism is top shelf and I would recommend Dr. Puterman and his staff to anyone in need of quality dental care.

If your dentist sends you to Dr. Purerman, know you will be receiving excellent care. Starting with Marla and all the front office staff: they are efficient and friendly, and they go way beyond normal duties to show that they care about each individual patient. Ditto for the assistants who explain every test and procedure, offer warm blankets before surgery, and make sure the patients are perfectly comfortable. Dr. Puterman is amazing...he has the skills and uses state of the art technology to make sure that treatment goes well. He is the kind of guy you will want to have as a friend, and clearly the top quality of his staff is directly related to his personality. I am sure I am not the only patient who actually looks forward to visiting this office!

Dr. Puterman and his staff were excellent. They were always friendly and happy to answer questions. I particularly appreciated that because I was nervous about my gum graft. I'd happily recommend them to anyone. As for the surgery itself, it was incredibly well done - no complications, fully explained recovery tips, and Dr. Puterman even called me at home to check in.

I had two dental implants plus bone and gum graft performed by Dr. Puterman. He explained in advance all the steps to achieve the best results. I saw Dr. Puterman when a root canal (that was done by someone else years ago) failed; the tooth/crown were not salvageable. Needless to say I was not happy and Dr. Puterman patiently explained the "why, what and how" this may have happened and what my options were going forward. He was very thorough in explaining the implant procedure and all that it entailed. His staff was right in sync in answering any additional questions, informing me on what I needed to do pre and post procedure and scheduling that appointment. This was also done with patience, thoroughness and an upbeat attitude that you don't get that often anymore. Dr. Puterman's aftercare was top-notch with several post procedure follow-up calls to ensure that I was feeling okay. It goes without saying that I would highly recommend Dr. Puterman!

Dr. Puterman and his staff were excellent. The office is very calm and relaxing- it felt like the waiting area of a spa. Everyone took their time to listen and to explain procedures involved (whether billing or surgical). I had two gum implants, one of which involved a skin graft from the roof of my mouth. I was surprisingly comfortable throughout the procedure. I did have some complications afterwards and Dr. Puterman was extremely attentive and even came in on a Sunday to see me. I felt very confident about my care in Dr. Puterman's capable hands. I would definitely recommend Dr. Puterman and would return for his services in the future, if needed.

I have had two other dental implants, both complicated procedures with lengthy recoveries...in fact, after my last implant two years ago I remain slightly numb on the right lower jaw due to bone grafting done for the implant on my left side. I was understandably dreading my third implant, again another complicated procedure with gum and bone grafting. I anticipated days of pain, swelling and residual ill effects from anesthesia, as in past procedures. After discussing my surgery with Dr. Puterman, I opted to use local anesthesia (basically, Novocain). Imagine my delight to drive myself home, virtually pain free, and experience no swelling, minimal pain for one day, and a perfect implant. I cannot express my gratitude for the expert care given me by Dr. Peterman. His use of state of the art dentistry, coupled with his incredible skill, led to an absolutely perfect implant experience. I only wish I had been referred to him years ago, and would unequivocally, and wholeheartedly, recommend him for anyone needing implant surgery. Carolyn Johnson

Dr. Puterman placed two implants in my mouth for two new teeth. He was very gentle and the process was very comfortable throughout each appointment with him. Before I came to visit him and his wonderful staff. I was in great discomfort. The process began immediately right after my initial consultation. Dr. Puterman and the staff made me feel like I was their only priority. My quality of life has greatly improved thanks to him. I would recommend Dr. Putterman to anyone who needed this procedure.
