I went to the previous dentist that Dr. Khan bought the practice from for 16 years along with my three sisters. As you can imagine with such a big change I was apprehensive. During my first visit, we discussed a the replacement of one of my front teeth with an implant as the tooth was at risk of breaking or falling out. There was great concern of it happening while I was traveling especially because I travel to a developing country several times a year. Dr. Khan discussed this with me in a factual manner with an understanding the emotional impact of losing one of my front teeth would be for me. I have high anxiety about the dentist in general but adding that to the to this situation was over the top. Dr. Khan provided me the pros and cons of making a proactive or reactive choice. It was not an easy decision but I decided to choose the proactive treatment plan. She assisted me through my process to find the right oral surgeon and brought in an expert to build my temporary tooth appliance. After my consults she met with each specialist to understand the treatment plan and followed up with me to answer any questions. After each of my appointments I would stop in and let them know how things were going and the team was eager to hear the progress. Dr. Khan has been instrumental through a nine month multi-phase dental procedure. Her expertise as part of the treatment plan has been reassuring along with her charismatic nature. Both a necessity through this process. She even checked in with me prior to my surgery with the specialist to make sure all my questions were answered and provided assurance. Not only is Dr. Khan awesome so is her team. You can tell she hand picks the right personalities to be part of her dental team. Lynn at the front desk has been amazing to assist me. She was with the previous dentist and she was helpful when she continued with the practice. She is very informed when dealing with insurance and she also has relationships with other specialist in the building. Nancy at the front desk is very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. I know if Lynn isn’t available Nancy will be able to help without any reservations. The hygienists and dental assistants are masters of their expertise. Helpful, friendly and thorough. The office is new and very comfortable. It isn’t your spa like look which to me always feels like over-charging to pay for it. It doesn’t smell medicinal but you know it is spotless. They pay for parking downtown and they send reminders via email or text. I am so glad I decided to stay with this Dr. Khan she has really made a huge difference in the way I feel about the dentist.
