For several weeks my desktop computer had been lagging and occasionally hanging up. I was fairly certain it was an issue with the operating system and wasn't overly concerned. I ran the usual utilities and updated the drivers, but the problem persisted. By the time I finally realized my 3TB Seagate hard drive was the cause of the problems I'd been experiencing, it was almost too late. I tried cloning the drive by several methods, but each attempt failed in turn due to errors. Next, I installed the drive in an external enclosure and tried backing up my files to another drive. I had some success but file transfers became increasingly erratic and incomplete. Finally, the drive could no longer be read. It was still running (spinning) but the Operating System couldn’t "see" it. To make matters worse, not having experienced a hard drive problem for many years, I'd gotten lazy about backing up my data. I found myself unable to access the files important to my business, my personal finances, and to my family, and was entirely unsure about what to do next. I knew there were data recovery services available, but didn't know who I could trust with my data. I visited a local retail computer store and described my problem to the owner. He offered to send the drive to an affiliate in New York, but with a vision of the warehouse scene from the first Indiana Jones movie in mind, and not knowing who would have access to the personal and financial data on my drive, I was very reluctant to send it away to parts, and people unknown. I asked if he knew of a trustworthy local shop and he immediately recommended Rich at FlashFixers. I called FlashFixers and spoke with Terry. After hearing my concerns, Terry encouraged me to bring the drive in for evaluation. When I arrived at the shop I met Rich and had an opportunity to explain the problems I was having with the drive. The value of having a face to face conversation with the person who will be working on your drive cannot be overstated. Rich explained the techniques that would be applied to recover my files and gave me his personal assurance that he'd do his best to get my data back. While there are never any guarantees, I left the shop that Friday morning feeling optimistic. However, since it was only a few days before Christmas, I expected a long wait. To my surprise, I received a personal call from Rich later that evening letting me know that my drive was definitely failing but that it wasn't too far gone. Rich expressed a reasonable degree of confidence that my data could be recovered. Even better, he didn't think the process would require an expensive trip to the dreaded "clean room." That was very good news. Rich told me he would continue working on the drive over the weekend. I received both a call and an email on Monday morning - Christmas Eve - letting me know that the data recovery process had been successful. Rich still had to run a few more checks before transferring everything to a new 6TB Western Digital drive, but he wanted to let me know that the new drive would be ready for pick up on the morning after Christmas. When I opened Rich's email message and read the attached invoice, I was immediately impressed with the degree of detail provided and even more so because it included, almost verbatim, all the information I'd provided when I dropped the drive off at the shop on the previous Friday. It was clear that Rich had listened to my concerns and had done his absolute best to address all of the issues. When I stopped by the shop to pick up my drives (new and old) Rich assured me that no one other than himself had had access to my data. He explained that my files would be retained on his server only long enough to be certain the new drive was working correctly. At that point the data would be wiped from the server and it would be impossible to anyone to ever access my files again. Rich also provided excellent advice regarding backup methods and technologies I could implement to avoid, or at least mitigate future hard drive problems. When I brought the new drive home and installed it in my computer, it took the BIOS a few seconds to recognize the new drive, but once the drive was up and running, I was able to access all of my files and continue working as though nothing had ever happened. Thanks Rich. I am thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided by FlashFixers. Rich was considerate and easy to talk to. He listened to my concerns and got right to work on my drive in an effort to get my system up and running again as quickly as possible. If there is ever such a thing as a real live superhero, like the Marvel Comics’ Spiderman and Hulk and Iron Man, well…..the Flash Fixers are it. Their company name even sounds like a superhero team! And justifiably so. My Samsung Galaxy S8+ died all of a sudden, and I carelessly did not back up any of my photos from the previous several months. The Flash Fixers recovered everything. They are my heroes! I was heartbroken when I had to accept that my phone would just not turn on. All those priceless photos & special memories. After trying many different resources around here where I live, I was finally directed to the Flash Fixers. I had only a sliver of hope left, but I am so grateful that I contacted them! Consequently, there is a big hole in my wallet to pay for their 5-star service, but it is not as big as the hole in my heart when I realized I lost all of my photos of my family. So thankful for the Flash Fixers for fixing that hole. They can’t climb walls or smash buildings or fly up into the clouds. But they gave me back what I lost and cherished. They truly are my superheroes.

FlashFixers is absolutely amazing! I can not recommend them enough! My daughter went on a solo month-long trip in Europe and took over 4,000 photos when on the last day of her trip, someone taking her photo dropped it deep in silica water in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. After having my phone for 3 years and losing all 1000 contacts over 3000 videos and photos 300 memo notes and many more items all of which are confidential since I work for a police department, everybody at all other places wanted l $1000 plus To recover the data and they could not guarantee when it would be done. My Samsung Galaxy S5 Active was water damaged and would not power up at all. Since my Contacts were not set to back-up (my bad), I feared they were lost. Another mobile device repair service attempted a recovery and failed. That company was certain in their statement: “If we can’t get the phone to power on, there is no way to recover data from the Logic Board.” I might have accepted defeat at that point, but lost over 100 business contacts. Let me start by saying I never do reviews. Mainly because companies are never worthy of one these days. My phone was dropped in water and being a Samsung, no one would touch it. I found Flash Fixers on line and called them. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and said they have 90 percent plus success rate. Working for a non-profit conservation organization, one of our GPS units died on us from battery corrosion and we lost crucial waypoints. I was searching the web for solutions and came across FlashFixers. I read right on their page a similar situation where they were able to recover waypoints for another customer, so I sent in our GPS unit to Rich and his crew. After their initial inspection of the unit, they found that the corrosion had damaged the unit beyond the point of possible recovery. However, Rich told me that they believed they could remove the memory chip from my unit and place it into another identical unit they had found on eBay. I gave them the green light and they gave me another working GPS unit with my original memory chip. Once I got the unit back, I quickly checked the waypoints and there they were! When my android phone received water damage at&t couldn't help me recover important pictures and contacts. When I checked with 2 other companies, the cost was prohibitive. A local company kept the phone for 2 days but were not able to help me. FlashFixers assured me that 80% probability of ability to help and the cost was reasonable. They kept me informed, answered my phone inquiries, when I requested more detail from my contacts they did an additional process resulting in my recovery of over 2,000 pictures and even more contacts than I thought I had. Two words that can best describe FlashFixers are professionalism and efficiency. I had an LG4 phone that suddenly stopped working. Searching a bit over the internet, I found out that it was a standard case of the hs-usb qdloader 9008 error, which happens to some LG4 phones. I wanted to save the photos that I had on the phone. I called several companies and after every call, I would only get frustrated. Some companies asked for close to 2000 USD for this kind of service. Almost everyone said that getting the data will take a couple of weeks. However, the thing that irritated me the most was that often the person on the other side of line was talking down to me. I called FlashFixers expecting to cross one more company of my list. I was very wrong. From the first moment I talked to them, I was very impressed how professional they were. I thought I lost all the files on my flash drive. I put it into Macs and Pcs and it was no longer readable. I found FlashFixers online. My experience with FlashFixers was excellent from my first email to picking up my recovered files. Tom was very helpful on the phone. When I brought my flash drive in, Richard put it in and felt positive he would be able to retrieve the content. I left a blank flash drive with him. After I found out that my LG G4 phone would not turn on suddenly (only after 1.5 years of use) and having my data on the phone not backed up (lesson learned!), I was searching how to recover them. After many failed attempts, including local repair shops and even heating the phone's motherboard chips with a hair-drier, I discovered that FlashFixers can do a chip-off method by removing and cleaning the memory chip and reading data from it using their equipment. The best parts of all the experience working with this company, was great customer service (Rich explained me all what I needed to know about the recovery process and was keeping me posted throughout the process), fast and complete data recovery (within 2 days) and affordable price. Potentially losing all my pictures and photos on my LG G4 when it went into what's known as a Bootloop was very disheartening. But then I found FlashFixers on YouTube and thought that that was a great service. I had nothing more to lose in that if they were not able to get my pictures back then I did not have to pay. So I sent my dead phone away and once received was very happy with the communication. I felt "included" in the process and seeing how it was done on YouTube really helped me understand just how they were going to get my photos back if they could. Nothing is ever certain when a phone dies and I understood this but was elated to see a contact sheet with my precious kids in them before being asked to pay the recovery fee. Let me first say that when my Note 4 crashed, I thought that all of my precious pictures of my family were gone forever. What really devastated me was the thought that I had lost all of the pictures of my dad who passed away when I was three years old. My father was a Vietnam Veteran and when he was discharged from the army, he was not given full military benefits. However, my mother petition the US Government and 42 years after his death, the government granted those benefits two years ago. As a result, my father was given a military funeral. His body was exhumed and relocated to a National Military Cemetery with a 21 gun salute. As a result, I got to witness all of this and took a lot of pictures of the moving event on my Note 4. So when my Note 4 crashed a few months ago, I was devastated because I thought I had lost the pictures forever. I recently went on a once in a lifetime vacation with my family and was devastated when my phone dropped into the ocean and I lost two weeks worth of photos and video. My phone was fried. I work for the University of New Hampshire IT department. Most times we need to do a backup due to a failing hard drive we are able to handle that ourselves, but there are times when it is necessary to call in the heavy hitters. FlashFixers is one such organization. Not only are they just down the road a few miles, but they have facilities and software that we don't that allow them to handle much more difficult failures with a high rate of success. Last week we encountered one such failure. The data was extremely sensitive and important, as well as time-sensitive. Rich at FlashFixers did a great job of recovering my photos and calendar. I had thought I was properly syncing my entire phone to "the cloud" but found out the hard way I wasn't. When my Galaxy S6 was damaged to the point that the touchscreen was damaged and unusable, Rich recovered approximately 1000 photo's and hundreds of past and future calendar events. Greetings from Texas. A few weeks ago I dropped my phone in a lake that had risen because of recent rains. I had no idea at what point I had lost my phone. These folks are unbelievable !! They are the McGyver and NCIS of flash/travel cards all rolled into one !!! I had photographed a large family ,some of whom were military and leaving the day after the shoot. When I returned back to my studio- and placed the card into the computer- everything on the card PRIOR my my shoot and everything AFTERWARD was there- but all my family images were gone. After months of agony wondering if you were really going to recover pictures from my, "accidentally" deleted SD card, I was elated when my card came back with over 300 pictures and videos!!! Ran into a problem with my system and was unable to work with my business software and email. Recently moved to Stratham and my previous IT vendor is an hour away. What do you do if you knock a 2TB drive full of four years of treasured photographs and data off onto the floor and the drive stops working? You hope and pray that you can find someone you can trust who has the knowledge, skills and tools to recover that lost data. After consulting with a number of friends, co-workers and associates and searching for solutions online, I decided to bring my broken drive to FlashFixers in Stratham. The company was highly recommended by my friend and associate, Matt Poole. He recently had a similar situation with a damaged backup drive and FlashFixers was able to successfully recover most of his data. Matt told me he was very pleased with the entire experience. I was planning to copy my photographs to the new backup drive so I would have a second copy… just in case. When Richard at FlashFixers called to let me know that he would be able to recover more than half of the data files on my broken hard drive, I was thrilled. I work for a company that manufactures and sells data storage and backup systems for large corporations so I know all too well how devastating it can be and how hard it is to recover data from a damaged hard drive. It took about a week for Rich to complete the process, but it was worth the wait. During the process, he stayed in touch with phone calls and emails to let me know how it was going. I really appreciated that. The happy ending to my story is that he was able to transfer all of the recovered data to my new hard drive. When I got home and turned it on, I was so relieved to see all of my photos neatly restored and easily accessible again. Like so many other people, I knew that all hard drives eventually fail. And I had every intention of "some day" taking the time to properly back up my images. Well, to make a long story short, my external hard drive failed before "some day" arrived. After a couple of weeks of frantically watching YouTube videos about data recovery and trying a bunch of free recovery software programs, my efforts had not yielded a thing. When you are a parent and the only memories of milestones you have captured are on your phone it is disheartening to think the are lost forever. I had accidentally deleted my children's videos (they are 18 months old and there were videos of them first learning to walk.....) from my camcorder and was very distraught. I tried an online program and went to 2 photo stores without any success. I was referred to you by one of the photo stores and immediately felt reassured that Rich could restore my videos. I sent them off immediately and as soon as he received them, he worked on them and called me as soon as he finished knowing that I would be worrying about them. I was another unfortunate person who dropped his phone into a shallow pool of water. I was actually amazed at how quickly the water rendered my phone unusable.
