We loved our experience with John & Brenda Andrick, of Grins 2 Go Beach Portraits Maui. Brenda was so nice, and no pressure, and very informative. She made the whole process easy, and I felt great about the photos I chose for our family. We hadn’t had family portraits taken in 5 years. It was fun to have some great ones of all of us, and to also have the memory of our trip sealed in time. I have two teenage boys, who really did not want to get their picture taken. John made it fun, he cracked jokes, spoke directly to the boys, and every pose was quick! They actually had fun! I think we were done in less than 20 minutes, and the pictures were ready for me to review 40 minutes later. It was amazing!!! All the shots were great. It was so hard to choose. Brenda was extremely helpful in the selection process! I’m so happy with our family photos, and the entire process! I highly recommend getting family photos taken by Grins 2 Go Beach Portraits Maui. You won’t regret it!

We have used Brenda and John and Grins 2 Go for several years now and they are outstanding! I’m not big on having my picture taken but John is such a blast to work with, that I now look forward to doing the pictures every year. The pictures are amazing.

We had a great experience AGAIN with Grins 2 Go Portraits Maui in early Feb 2020. John was great with the kids in getting them to cooperate, and our morning beach photos turned out great! I think sunset photos would be just a swonderful, but if you want SUPER EASY with young children, step out of your hotel room and have a morning family photo session!! It was nice of Grins 2 Go to give us a second session because it started to rain during our first scheduled session. I would not stay at the Hyatt Regency without scheduling a photo session by Grins 2 Go. The best time to get family photos is when everyone is having fun on vacation! We ordered an 11x14 glossy metal framed portrait that my family loves, and will have digital images to use for our 2020 Xmas card. Check that off my list!! We will certainly schedule another photo session with Brenda & John when we return to the Hyatt in 2021. Thanks!! Carrie Shane

What a walk to remember. My husband and I celebrated our Honeymoon in Maui 29 years ago. We always said that we would return and celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary but my husband passed away 11 months before our 30th. Our daughter returned to Maui with me and celebrated our 30th anniversary. I contacted Grins 2 Go and spoke with Brenda about having some photos made at Sunrise on the beach. Her husband John met with us early, making our photo session fun with many different poses. John was a fantastic photographer with an awesome personality and had us laughing instead of smiling. Surprising my daughter for Christmas I had John and Brenda to crop my husband in on one of our photos. Tears of joy! All of our photos turned out beautiful. Grins2Go Beach Portraits Maui is a great husband and wife business that we were fortunate to find at the Hyatt Regency, Kaanapali Beach, Maui. John Andrick is a fantastic photographer who put us at ease and took many great photos of us. We purchased two (2) 11 x 17 photos mounted on canvas which are portrayed in our master bedroom and in our family room along with some 5 x 7 photos and some wallets. His wife, Brenda is wonderful to work with and was very helpful in helping us select the right package for us; as well as, in selecting the photos. You cannot go wrong in utilizing their business. We highly recommend Brenda and John, Grins2Go Beach Portraits.

We had a great experience getting a family photo with John and Brenda. I was a little concerned about a sunrise time on the last day of vacation with four twenty-somethings! But John did a great job and the pictures turned out wonderful. Brenda helped us pick out a couple of pictures for a greating card and for a large wall hanging, and I've received so many compliments on both. So glad that we did it! Thank you!

John and Brenda were so amazing to work with - for two people who are camera shy and a bit awkward we had an amazing and fun shoot with John and Brenda was delightful when going through the selection and check out process. Thank you so much & we will be back.

We had such a wonderful experience with the company. John made my 3yo n 6yo boy laugh so much during the photos that their smiles were very genuine. The photo session was a lot of fun. John even let my kids ride on his back to make baby girl laugh. Brenda, his wife, is very sweet, not pushy, very flexible with our schedule as well. I love that they have a counter at Hyatt Regency where we stayed so i could just walk up and talk to Brenda and didnt have to travel for the photos. I have taken many photos of kids before and these are my favorite. We actually were sick part of the trip so we didn't accomplish much adventures that we planned. The fact that we got some awesome hawaiian themed pictures i feel quite accomplished. I will be decorating the house with my new photos. Worth every dime. Theres no place to attach my photos..will try to do that on yelp.

John is great to work with. We’ve used Grins2Go on 2 of our last trips to Maui. He works well with kids, young and old!!!

Highly recommend Grins to Go. They were fast and did great work. We purchased all the digital copies and were able to send them to all of our family, near and far, so they could pick out which prints they wanted. We are very pleased with the way they turned out. After our photo shoot we sat down and reviewed the photos later that hour.

The Andricks did a wonderful job with our family’s portraits. While John was very professional, he made the photo session a lot of fun for all of us. Not only was Brenda very accommodating in scheduling, but she also provided many suggestions about other activities around the island. AMAZING!!! After careful research regarding whom to entrust with my first ever family of 14 people photography, I contacted Grins 2 Go. Brenda, was polite, patient with my many questions, and professional in addressing concerns. She continued professionalism in my continued correspondence up to and including the day before. John, WOW, what to say here- he had to work with ages 2 on up and many different family configurations. He memorized every single name in party which made for quick placement in the many arrangements. Taking pictures with humor, efficiency, professionalism, all the while remaining good natured. Now the vast assortment of pictures taken were incredible- I was so happy with the quality of color and clarity. During the selection for larger prints to be made, Brenda assisted in face changes, erasing any blemishes and even plumped up my hair. I received my selections in a timely manner, and will absolutely recommend Grins 2 Go to all. Hope to use them again in Maui!!!!

Seriously, we had 3 family's there and we all had a great time. The photographer made us all laugh and smile at just the perfect time.. Wonderful experience.

We've used Grins2Go Beach Portraits twice. Once for our 25th Anniversary and once for a family trip. Both experiences were awesome! John is easygoing and and made the photo sessions enjoyable. Which is important because when you are on vacation who's excited about taking time out for a photo shoot! There were so many great shots and Brenda did a great job helping us quickly select a photo package that fit our needs and getting us back to the beach.

We had an awesome time with Grins 2 Go on our visit to Ka`anapali in March. Our photographer was so efficient with our time together, capturing shots I hadn't even anticipated. With two teenagers, you never know what it will take to get them board to smile naturally and not ham it up or just stare off into space. Even thought we just met the photographer that morning, he was so good at engaging our kids to be natural and involved. We were so impressed with how well the photos turned out from our hour together. There were close to 100 shots to choose from. I highly recommend this studio.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our sitting. Brenda was so accommodating with both our schedule and our budget. John was an absolute stitch and he made the session totally enjoyable and stress free for us. Our proofs were ready in quick fashion so that we didn't have to make a second trip to the hotel. How often does one get to Maui with those kinds of backdrops? I would recommend Grins-2-Go to anyone vacationing in Maui as the pictures are truly priceless.

We were in Maui for our 25th anniversary and celebrating our twins 16th birthday and were attracted to the amazing picture samples displayed inside our hotel. The entire experience was unbelievable, from the initial phone call, flexible scheduling, the photo shoot, the picture selection process and the arrival of our package a few weeks later. We were incredibly impressed with the relaxed nature of the photo shoot and how fun John made if for all of us. We did some unique poses and action shots that we all loved.
