I'm pleased that Bailey contacted the insurance company to give me as accurate an idea as possible as to what to expect financially. When I last spoke with Whitney a couple months ago, she was outstanding--very helpful and professional. I really like that the receptionist was able to schedule both children to be worked on during the same time slot. I really appreciate that Dr. Brandon and Dr. Kat sent us home with pictures of all the issues so I could show them to my husband, who couldn't be at the exam. I also appreciate their patient and thorough explanations of the issues at both exam and work appointments. The pictures and clear explanations instilled trust and confidence. I like that I was able to be in the rooms with the kids while they were getting their work done. I liked going back and forth between the children, checking on them. I liked getting to hold their ankle so they could know I was right there when they couldn't see me. Not having to knock made me feel welcome and comfortable. I liked the option of my children not having to take the sedation syrup. The recovery period was so much more positive an experience without it than it had been for my other son who took it for work done by another dentist. The lead dental worker (not sure of her title) who applied the numbing agents and sealants to Madeline is fabulous! Thank you for creating such a positive experience for our family.

I recommend Kona Kids to anyone who will listen. The only way that I can describe Dr. Brandon and Katie his assistant is synergy, it's fun to watch. Kona Kids speaks to and treats children like children. They don't make the children wait, the procedures are very fast and they always go the extra mile whenever they can. I couldn't be more pleased. I had a poor experience with my daughter's previous dentist. They wouldn't give her gas because it made the Dr. dizzy so they gave her two different sets of shots and then almost an hour later refused to do the procedure because my 4 yr. old was having a difficult time sitting still. That's when I started looking for a better dentist. My first impression of Kona Kids was Katie treating my daughter like a 4 yr. old instead of a professional, it immediately put her at ease. My next impression was when we walked into the room and my daughter was immediately being prepped. Then during the procedure Dr. Brandon would no sooner finish with one tool before the next tool was in his hand (without asking) making the hard part fast and efficient. Watching Dr. Brandon and Katie working together is very impressive.Then Dr. Brandon went out of his way to setup and repair previous dental work that was not holding up for the kids. This on top of the incredibly friendly staff, video games, kids movies and toys actually made my three small children look forward to going to the dentist for the first time. Again, I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you!

Kona Kids is amazing! They really care about the kids and take their time to get to know and figure out what works best for them. My daughter is 4 years old and has been battling anxiety about going to the dentist, tears and refusal to even get in the chair. We were recently introduced to their ARP program (Anxiety Reduction Plan) and my daughter has just completed it with success. I was shocked at how well it worked and how happy she was going to the appointments. Miss Katie walked her through all the things they do at each visit and my daughter looked forward to those appointments and had fun at them. Yesterday was her actual cleaning and it was a happy and successful cleaning! I highly recommend this program to kids that have fears of the dentist and am so happy we did it! Thanks to everyone at Kona Kids for helping my daughter overcome her anxiety!

I can't say enough great things about Kona Kids! My son has sensory issues and I didn't think I would ever find a dentist that would be able to get him to sit and get his teeth cleaned and checked without screaming. Everyone at Kona Kids go out of their way to make kids feel safe and comfortable and Katie is amazing!! She takes the time to show him everything she is going to do, in a fun exciting way, that he forgets why he is scared and actually will get his teeth cleaned. I laugh so much sitting and watching her interact with my son. Dr. Brandon is a fantastic dentist who gets the job done without Ethan even knowing he is getting his teeth checked. Even though it's a little out of the way to get there, it is worth the trip! It's just an all around great Dentist experience and I can't thank everyone there enough...especially Katie!!!

All the staff are very kid friendly and got us in an our very quickly (I had three kids in tow). Everything is well thought out and the kids loved it! My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist!

Kona Kids is one of the best kids dentist I've been too. The entire staff are fabulous. The front desk staff are friendly and happy to be there. They check your dental insurance and review it in detail with you so know what services you are getting and what you will be paying. Dr Kat and Dr Brandon are the most sweetest and gentle dentists I've seen. They not only take their time with the kids but constantly checking on the kids to make sure they are doing ok while they are working in their mouth. They also explain to the kids what they are doing before they do it and that is very important to my kids. Dr Kat even called before she leaves the office to make sure my son was doing alright after his teeth extraction on Jan. 09, 2017. I thought that was so sweet. My Kids love going to the dentist.

With having a special needs child that is anxious in new situations, I am always worried about how an experience is going to go. When he was a toddler, I took him to a dental office that promote themselves as "gentle." He was very uneasy and became panicked and scared. Instead of handling him with thought, they strapped him down and used this metal tool to force his mouth open. We left with him in total hysterics and I was shook to my core. Needless to say, I wanted to never go near that place again. I looked for a long time for a new dentist that would have the disposition that was needed to handle my son's (now more difficult) needs. When calling Kona I asked the person on the phone a ton of questions. When I felt like I could give Dr. Brandon a shot, he was PERFECT! He was gentle in tone and not pushy. He let my son really lead the experience and was so patient. My son has the same dental hygienist and always has the same chair for every visit. Now, he doesn't even make a noise of protest when he comes to the dentist. We are so thankful to have found Dr. Brandon... He may not realize it now, but he are going to have to have at least one adult patient in the future. We can't see our son wanting to see anyone else.

We were referred to Kona by our kid's pediatrician 3 years ago and have had an amazing experience every time. The entire office is kid friendly and exciting without being overwhelming. Kind faces greet the kids at every turn and the lobby has multiple goodies to keep them entertained while they wait, there's also a fish tank and "old school" video games to check out after our visit. The office is nicely decorated, incredibly clean and even the restroom is family friendly. The kids get to choose a movie to watch on the ceiling while they're getting their teeth checked out and the staff does a great job interacting with them and us equally. I especially love that the rooms can open up and both my kids can get their teeth cleaned in the same space with me. The kids love the special tokens they receive at the end of their visit to use in the huge gumball style machine. Dr Brandon has always been very kind and tells the kids something new about their teeth each visit. We absolutely love going the dentist and my kids look forward to their visits for weeks.

Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Brandon and we are so pleased she did! The staff is so welcoming and fun, the office is clean and full of exciting stuff for the kids. Dr. Brandon is so great with my girls, he always asks them if they have any questions or concerns and talks to them not just to me! The office is professional and fun, I can't say enough great things about it! Kona kids is THE dentist for your kids!

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! The entire staff is friendly, caring, and extremely professional....the office was built with one thing in mind...."having children feel comfortable in the dental surroundings and actually having a good time while at the dentist!" My two kids have never complained of having to go to the dentist because of Kona Kids Dentistry. If you have children, I highly recommend giving Kona Kids a try, you will not be disappointed!

We have been going to Kona Kids since our teenagers were in elementary school. They consistently provide outstanding service in every way. Both Dr. Brandon and Dr. Kat are very patient and caring, always taking the time to clearly explain treatment options, and answer all our questions. Their entire staff creates a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the office. The doctors and staff are extremely organized as well; appointments consistently begin on time, which we greatly appreciate. Kona Kids has made the entire dental experience a very positive one for our kids and I would definitely recommend them!

My son Zain and I had such a wonderful experience at Kona Kids Dentistry! From being scheduled to being examined, the entire staff was amazing. We really appreciate how kind and sincere everyone was there. The quality of care was immaculate and we felt very comfortable. I appreciate all the staff and dr Brandon. They are very professional and helpful at explaining the procedures. My kids love to go and that helps the whole experience. They are very fast and effective and I always have a good experience, even if my child has a lot of painful work to be done. I highly recommend them and will be a patient for life!

The experience we had with Kona kids was AMAZING! My daughter was so confortable the second we walked into the office and everyone was so great making us feel welcome. Our 2 year old and 5 year old both feel very comfortable during their visits at Kona Kids. The hygienists are very friendly and amazing with children. Dr. Brandon is excellent and truly cares about the well-being of his patients. He answers every question thoroughly and is very personable. We highly recommend Kona Kids!

I have been coming since I was four years old and I have always enjoyed the experience, although now that I have braces sometimes it's not as fun.:) I feel like everyone is really close and the patients aren't just people who sit in the chairs, we're valued and thought of as friends.

My daughter has been seen by Dr. Brandon since the practice opened. She is a dental and an orthodontic patient, and we are huge fans of the work that he and Dr. Kat and the Kona Kids team does. The kids are treated with kindness and respect. The quality of care is excellent, and we continue to shout our praises about this clinic. Going to the dentist is a positive experience!

Kona Kids Dentistry is simply the BEST! Aside from the fact that our kids love going to the dentist (!!!), Dr. Brandon and Dr. Kat are fantastic! Their knowledge is superior, and they truly go above and beyond in patient care. When our son had a dental emergency on a Saturday, Dr. Brandon was accessible to us immediately. We had a great experience with kona kids. Not just us as parents but my child as well. From the time we walked in through the door with friendly staff and kid friendly environment to the Dr Brandon being really experienced and professional. He explained everything down to detail and in a way we could understand what my toddler would be going through. I would recommend kona kids to anyone a hundred percent.
