Mr. Phillips performed better than I could’ve ever possibly imagined. I went first to another lawyer that said for my crime I was looking at 20 years. I read the reviews on MrPhilips and decided to see what he thought . I have spent most of my life in prison for stupid judgement. Mr Phillips did not profile me and make my case seem hopeless. When I had my first consult with him he had already studied my past and knew all about me. He told me things about myself I didn’t know. Being a felon I new it would be a hard case for him to win. he and his staff kept me informed almost weekly about what was going on. I was given classes to attend and my few hours in jail was time spent. A man of honesty and dignity that I owe my life too. He knows the law and will make u seem you are the only case he has. My experience with the Law Office of Robert M. Phillips & Associates was and is a special encounter. When I found myself in this ordeal, I felt lost and scared. My first encounter with Mr Phillips immediately gave me hope and assurance that someone was on my side. He accually cared for me and began without hesistaton a plan for my defense. He walked me through the whole process and explained in detailed every step we would take. His staff, Janet and Ashton also help guide me through this journey. I could not have asked for a better representative than this law firm. They were effective and responsive to every need in regards to my case. Although we didn't have a drawn out case, the initial time of being in the office put my mind at ease and reduced my stress level at the time. I was happy to walk into the office and hear Christian music playing and confirm that I was in the right place.

I was charged with a DWI (I refused giving arresting officers breath test and was not asked for blood work for BAC). Mr. Ranney got me into the PTI (Pre-Trial Intervention Program) which once completed the charge is dismissed. The PTI program is a guilty charge if you do not complete program without violation. You will have a breathalyzer in your car for 6 months, 40 hours community service, MADD class, complete a class/work book (approximately 4 weeks). Take random UAs.. I was only summoned to take one. I violated my breathalyzer in my car several (3-4 times) a little over a week before I completed the 6 months. Mr. Ranney was able to still get the DWI dismissed since I was so close to completing the program. I would absolutely recommend him to others. Also, his office staff, Ashton and Janet, are always very helpful!

I appreciate the quick response time to any of my questions no matter how big or small. I had no idea what to expect throughout my process and felt very prepared for what would happen the days I had to attend court, was interviews for PTI program, and the day I signed my PTi paperwork. I havent had any prior experiences with attorneys and was a little intimidated at first but Doug is very easy to talk to and was always so calm which in turn lessened my anxiety. My son unfortunately got into some trouble in Milam County. He was arrested on two charges, one fairly minor, the other not so much. As this is not something you readily ask your friends and family about, I used the internet where I found good reviews for Robert Phillips & Assoc. Of course I was skeptical of online reviews, but by good fortune and the Grace of God, I made an appointment to speak with Mr. Phillips. I explained my son's circumstances to Mr. Phillips and he answered many questions and I decided to hire his firm, specifically, Mr. Doug Ranney, on behalf of my son. Mr. Ranney handles cases in Milam County. I know now that it was the right decision. Admittedly, at the time, the cost took my breath away, but Mr. Phillips was kind enough to allow me to make several payments. And in hind sight now, I know it was worth every penny. My son and I met Doug Ranney several weeks later and liked him immediately. As others have reported, he is a gentleman who explains things straightforwardly not sugar coating anything but letting you know your options. His familiarity with the Milam county court system was a big factor in my decision. My son getting into legal trouble was a nightmare for me. But I made the right choice to hire the services of Mr. Phillips & Assoc., specifically, Mr. Ranney. I believe he didn't want to encourage us with the BEST case scenario in case he wasn't able to pull it off, but, just before the trial, he spoke with the prosecutor, and DID pull it off! It was an EXCELLENT result! In fact, better than I thought was going to be possible :) I highly recommend engaging him if you or family member ever get into trouble in Milam county or any of those other tiny counties near Williamson County, Texas for that matter!
