My experience at Maui facial and dental surgery was exceptional very grateful to this group of caring women from reception area to Reyna surgical assistant and Morgan Strawn. I was an emergency patient that was seen in less than 24 hours and treated with such kindness and care during surgery. Reyna is very skilled in keeping you comfortable and assisting Strawn during surgery. Strawn is highly skilled and she describes exactly what she will be doing and how it will feel. I needed to have a molar extracted. My dentist told me my roots were strong so I was very nervous. Dr. Strawn and staff were amazing! They were kind, patient, and empathetic. My tooth was extracted so quickly without any discomfort. Doctor explained there would be some pain after but I have had none. Mahalo!

My experience today at Maui Facial and Dental Surgery was exceptionally a five star visit. Their reception team kept me well informed before even coming into my appointment. From the paperwork, the amount for my visit even their suggestion to be dropped off to my appointment due to the construction going on around their office. They were so friendly and did their job very well. The assistant to the Doctor (Genesis) made me feel very welcomed and kept me very informative as to what was going to happen next. He made sure I was comfortable, he even put a warm compress under my neck (that relaxed my nerves immediately). He gave me a care package after my visit to make sure I have everything I would need to keep my surgery clean and comfortable. The Doctor also kept me well informed as to what was happening throughout my surgery. The staff here at Maui Facial and Dental Surgery are very PROFESSIONAL at all their responsibilities. I never felt so comfortable at a time when my nerves were jumping all over the place before surgery. Mahalo from the bottom of my heart for making this such a smooth process for me. This has been the most best, easy and fast experience from a Dental facility that I have ever been too. I have been in such bad pain from a toothache and Dr. Strawn made it super fast and painful for myself. I am so glad that I got an appointment with her super fast. Also, because I am 28 weeks pregnant she really did help me a lot. Now I have no pain at all.

I am a healthcare professional who is extremely anxious about dental procedures. I’ve had many extractions & implants, so I wasn’t thrilled to be going to an oral surgeon. The staff, from the front desk to the dental assistants, was so kind and understanding. I also can’t say enough about Dr. Strawn, who is very skilled at both dental surgery and anesthesia. I needed to go off island soon after the implant, and she made sure that I was good to travel. From beginning to end, all of my questions were thoroughly and patiently answered, and my comfort appeared to be very important. Let’s be honest-no one wants to be in an oral surgeon’s office! This highly skilled office, however, won me over with their compassion and care. My thanks to all!

Everyone was so friendly! I felt so comfortable. Dr. Strawn answered all my questions and I was no longer scared. The dental assistant Reyna was so sweet and comforting. The front desk receptionist was so professional and friendly. I am so thankful that they were able to fit me in last minute. I am so happy to be rid of my bothersome tooth!

I was quite concerned about getting a dental implant, however I was relieved to find the staff friendly and caring and the doctor did a great job calming my nerves and quickly performing the oral surgery.. I appreciated the warm neck pillow, eye cover and lip balm as well.

It was great. I felt supported and comfortable throughout the entire thing. I got a tooth implant. It was painless and fast. It has also been painless after the topical wore off. My jaw didn’t register trauma.

First of all, getting dental procedures done makes me really anxious. Two weeks ago, my wisdom tooth got infected. My dentist referred me to Dr. Morgan Strawn at Maui Facial and Dental Surgery. My wife called to make me an appointment and the office staff was able to get me in quickly the following week. The women in the office were amazing in making sure that I had all the information that I needed before my wisdom teeth extraction so I would know what to expect before, during, and after my appointment. They also worked with my insurance company to make sure that I got the most from my dental coverage. I actually paid less than the initial estimated amount. I was anxious going into my appointment, but the women in the office, the dental assistants, and Dr. Strawn were so great in making sure I was comfortable and eased my anxiety both before and during the procedure. I went in to the appointment needing two wisdom teeth pulled, but I asked Dr. Strawn about another problematic tooth. She checked out the third tooth and extracted it free of charge. I was amazed at how quickly I was able to get in and out of my appointment. I went in to the exam room at 12:00 and I was wheeled out to my wife who had pulled up to drive me home by 1:00. I was given a really thoughtful care package with all of the items I would need to care for my mouth after the extraction. Dr. Strawn and her staff went way above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and worry-free. It has been two days since my appointment and my mouth is feeling better already. Dr. Strawn and her amazing staff changed the way I had always felt about getting dental procedures. I will definitely be back if I need future procedures and would highly recommend Dr. Strawn and her staff to anyone in need of oral surgery. Mahalo Dr. Strawn and your amazing staff!

The bad news was that I needed a tooth extracted. The good news is that I’m a patient of Dr. Strawn and her wonderful team. This was the third extraction performed by Dr. Strawn, and this one, like the previous two, was done with complete care and concern over my comfort, and to make it as pain-free as possible. She and her team show their caring for you, the patient, from the time that you make the appointment, through the actual procedure, and even provided a follow up call to make sure that everything was fine. This is truly World Class Service, which is rare in today’s world. I highly recommend Dr. Strawn and her team for any oral surgery needs.

The quality of care is top notch. From the reminder phone call a few days prior to my scheduled appointment, to the ease of check-in. They made me feel very comfortable when I was being prepped for a tooth extraction, answered all my questions regarding my fears and nervousness, and overall very kind and compassionate with me. I did not feel any pain and the whole process was very efficient being that I only needed one tooth removed. I would recommend them for any facial and dental surgery needs.

Yes on all three - the quality of care; the comfort and empathy. At my age (71), the music was age-appropriate it helped. The aftercare has been helpful. I did get a call-back to questions that I had about the medications and the proper use of the cold pack. And then another call for a follow-up. Mahalo plenty. (No need to print this part I should have called ahead of time to ask about any information you needed from me for filling out the patient intake form. I thought you might need to know about my prescriptions (medications) but I forgot to write them down.)

I was referred to Dr. Strawn by another dentist to have way more work done than I was comfortable with. I was extremely nervous when I showed up because I also have dentist anxiety. It was so nice to hear her say she only needed to pull one instead of the 4 my dentist suggested. We booked the extraction for 2 days later, it took less than an hour. I don't remember any of it and even though she had prepared me for a solid five days of pain I honestly felt almost nothing. And every time I had a question during recovery I could text them and they would text right back. If it turns out I do have to get additional teeth extracted I would be absolutely fine going back.

AMAZING Oral Surgeon on Maui! I’ve been to Dr. Strawn twice for extractions and today for implant surgery. Let me start by saying that I’m a wuss when it comes to anything dental in nature. From the moment that you enter the office, you’re treated like family and not just a patient. All of Dr. Strawn’s staff are friendly and helpful. As for Dr. Strawn, she is an amazing oral surgeon with a tremendous skill set coupled with a very comforting chair side manner, professionalism and caring attitude. No matter where you are located on Maui, if you need an oral surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Strawn and her team.

I am a white knuckle patient and was very nervous about continuing my "implant journey" with a new doctor. But I was greeted with kindness and understanding which calmed me down. Throughout the three appointments I found Dr. Strawn and her staff to be very caring, compassionate, and encouraging. My treatment was very professional. Yes there was discomfort but not as much as I had thought. After my first surgery Dr. Strawn called me at home to see how I was feeling, this was very thoughtful and I felt that I was more than just "another patient."
