This office has reminded me of what kindness should be in dentistry. I went in for an exam, and I left looking forward to returning for preventative care as recommended by the doctor. The prices are very accommodating to my budget; I know that My Family Dentist, however, does not sacrifice in quality of care.

I had some bonding on my front teeth that was done years ago finally break over the weekend. Frantically I got online looking for someone that could see me immediately. This is when I noticed My Family Dentist (new to my neighborhood and just up the street)had a text option. So being the queen of texting I sent my urgent message looking for an opening first thing Monday. I received a text immediately telling me yes they had an opening just call first thing Monday. I was so relieved to now have an option. So I called and they said they could see me at 11am. I went in and signed in. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and quickly squared away all my insurance info. Then I was called back they did a few xrays and then Dr. Heaton came in to talk with me about what I wanted/needed done. I was very comfortable and very surprised at the low cost to have both front teeth rebonded. I had expected to pay so much more. I am so glad to have Dr. Heaton and staff in our neighborhood and as my new dentist. I have had a few dental appointments turn scary but I was very comfortable throughout the entire procedure and Dr. Heaton did a beautiful job on my bonding. I had already gone to another dental office that did an initial exam and taken x-rays for a fractured tooth that was extremely painful and would not let me get any sleep. The dentist I saw however was hesitant to extract the tooth. So I had to find a dentist on short notice to perform the extraction without charging me too much since I already paid for an exam and x-rays at the first dental office. I searched around but the dental offices I contacted all charged huge fees for the initial exam plus x-rays, etc. Finally I found Dr. Heaton online and was surprised to find they only charged $15 for an initial exam plus x-rays. It only got better from there. The office is very comfortable with TV screens playing movies in front and overhead to keep you entertained while the dental work is done. The office staff is very professional and courteous. Dr. Heaton is the same way and he also presents himself as someone who is confident in his abilities and his work demonstrates that. The result was a job done right by great people in a great atmosphere. I am healing well with no complications but I am kicking myself for not knowing about this practice from the start. I could have saved myself both time and money. I will definitely only be going to see Dr. Heaton and his great staff for any future dental work I may need. Good job!

Yelp: After years of searching, I've finally found the perfect dentist for my entire family! The atmosphere was welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. My kids were drawn to the awesome play room right away. There's a gaming section for older kids as well as a comfy waiting room with amenities for adults. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. Miriam made my children feel at ease and even excited about a visit to the dentist. Side note: This would be a fantastic office for children with special needs. Dr. Heaton is extremely patient and takes time to explain every procedure. My five-year-old didn't even flinch when getting a cavity filled thanks to Dr. Heaton's kindness and professionalism. My absolute favorite aspect was the no-pressure business tactics. Dr. Heaton offers his recommendations; Ana tells you exactly how much it will cost. There are no hidden surprises and absolutely no "You must do this now or else..." It was like if I were getting my teeth pulled at home. The movies were cool, the Doctor was a pro, and I fell in love with the lady up front. I was so comfortable there and believe it or not, I can't wait to get my other two wisdom teeth pulled out. :D

Really awesome support staff. Dentist never keeps you waiting. Never makes suggestion regarding your treatment that is not right on point. NO UP SELLING you on what you don't need. Insurance filing and your portion always correct. No surprises. Great waiting room for kids. Love these folks.
