I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Van. She did great work and made me feel completely comfortable while in her care. I had put off dental work for quite a while. Dr. Van proceeded professionally and I felt confident to move forward without embarrassment. The whole staff was also kind and helpful. I’m thankful for my experience here.

Like most dental patients, I get very anxious when having to visit the dentist at all. I had accidentally chipped a tooth the night before my appointment and I had to make a very quick appointment the morning of, to get in to be seen. Dr. Van was the one who picked up when I called right when they opened Friday morning and very quickly offered me a slot that she had opened. I went in and was seen and I seriously have not felt that comfortable at an appointment, let alone a dental appointment ever before! Dr. Van is AMAZING and I will definitely be seeing her more often for any dental visits needed. She greeted me with a smile and made sure I was comfortable, calm and at ease. Her assistant for the day, Espe(Esperanza) was also very sweet and made sure she took care of me the best she could after I told her I was not a big fan of the dentist. My visit was definitely a 5/5 and I could not be any happier any place else. If anyone has the same problem as I do, please visit Open and Affordable. Everything done in a timely manner, treated with respect and taken care of 100%. Thank you!

At 60 years of age I have sort of been around the block in a variety of experiences and would simply like to say that your pratice is a breath of fresh air as your approach and staff simply radiate professionalism and courtesy. I really have never experienced such a level as such and would and will recommend your pratice to as many folks as I possibly can. I have absolutely no doubt as to your continued success. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first got there, but the staff was very personable and friendly. The Dr was super nice also and actually took extra time and fixed some problems I had. I was actually expecting to have to make another appointment to get the extra work done. I would recommend this dentist office to everyone.

My overall experience with your office was fantastic. I was surprised by how friendly the staff was and they showed a genuine concern for me. I was especially pleased with Doctor Lisa Van. She was the most gentle and professional Doctor of Dentistry I have ever met. She made my dental visit go bye quickly and with minimum discomfort. I would highly recommend your office and staff. My only negative is the lack of parking.

Great team! Awesome environment. And very fast too! I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed so much while being in so much pain. I was taken care of and sent on my way and already feel so much better! Plus the doctors a hunk! Win win.

I thank you guys so much for helping with my tooth extraction. I had the best experience here! No pain and great work! 1st Charlotte was a wonderful help got me in right away and then Dr. Jeremy was nice and walked me through what had to happen. His assistant was very friendly as well! Terry was a wonderful lady! Even though I had to get tooth pulled they all made me feel comfortable. They waited till i was ready then they pulled tooth with no problems and no pain! Thank you guys all again!

Dr. Van has been absolutely awesome! I have had terrible experiences with dentists in the past that made me very apprehensive and afraid of dentist visits, but she has helped me deal with that. She has been gentle and she honestly cares about her patients. I will definitely recommend her in the future to anyone and everyone looking for a new dentist.

I went in needing quite a lot of work done. I will go back again, and again. The staff was exceptional. I was made to feel comfortable, all steps were explained, and it was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had.

I came to Open and Affordable Dental in Brighton with an emergency. I needed a lot of work done in a very short time and was afraid that no one could help me. Dr. Barkoff created a treatment plan then he and Dr. Van went over and above the call to meet my deadline. Not only that, they made certain that I was comfortable during the process. Dr. Barkoff and Dr. Van have excellent "chair-side" manners and inspire a lot of confidence in their work. The staff is excellent, as well. When they say "we're here for you" they mean it. I would give them more than 5 Stars if I could.

Dr. Barkoff and the staff are great. I have had a good experience there and recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist. Dr, Barkoff is always concerned about how I am feeling during my treatment and makes me feel comfortable.

I love this office!! They are knowledgeable and efficient. I have never had longer than a 5 minute wait before being brought back. They have great availability for anyone's schedules, which includes evenings and weekends. They call and email you reminders which is awesome. They treat all the patients with compassion and respect. The staff was friendly and helpful and the dentist had a great bedside manner he was very knowledgeable and tried to make me comfortable which is not a easy task considering I am terrified to go to the dentist I will definitely recommend this establishment to my friends.

For someone that has major anxiety about going to the dentist I felt at ease right away. From the first day I walked in without an appointment and the Dr.started me on antibiotics until I could get in everything went very well.
