Great service everytime

I was a customer of the Service department first and when I started looking into buying my Malibu I decided to see what Poage could do for me. It was a bit different at Poage, I didn't have "sales vultures" swooping in the minute I got out to look around, I actually had to go inside to find someone to help me out. I knew what I wanted, what price range I needed to stay in and my sales person listened to what I had to say, what I wanted, made some suggestions and overall made the whole buying process as simple as possible and relatively quick. I've had my car for just over a year now, I loved it when I bought it and I still love it now. I bring my Malibu in to Poage's service department for the oil changes and I get great service each time. Although at my service appointment on 6-30-14, when I got out of my car, I had turned my radio down to a fairly low volume but when I got in my car after it was done I noticed that my radio was turned up, not really loud but higher than what I had left it at when I got out. There has only been one instance that I didn't agree with some information I was given. That was when I mentioned to a couple of the guys at the service counter as I was leaving that my Malibu wasn't getting the "stated" highway MPG. They told me that every car is different and that the EPA now sets the MPG that is shown on the window sticker. This just felt like an excuse to me, rather than a good reason as to why I wasn't getting better fuel mileage. At that time I was barely getting the city mileage of 28-29 mpg for my highway driving. I drive from Moscow Mills to Town & Country 5 days a week, so I do mainly highway driving. I had a hard time believing what they told me since my last 3 cars (a 2005 Impala, a 2008 Caliber and a 2009 Impala) all got the stated or better highway MPG while I had them. The MPG was a big factor in my decision to purchase my Malibu and I was disappointed that even at 16,000 miles it still wasn't getting closer to the stated highway MPG. I am now nearing 24,000 miles and have been getting between 32 to 33.5 MPG which is almost the 34 MPG that was stated for the highway side. I was really hopeful that my Malibu would get better than 34 MPG, but it hasn't happened yet. Overall I am pleased with the service I have received and continue to receive each time I come in and I would recommend Poage to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle and/or use their other services.

The people at Poage Chevrolet have always treated us great. They seem to know us by name. They are great people and would recommend them to everyone who is interested in buying a vehicle or just needing service in their vehicle. We are very satisfied.

I have lived in Wentzville almost a year now and have been visiting Poage for all three of my cars. I have been pleased with the service from both the service area and the body shop. Everyone has been helpful and attentive.
