Very quick and finds us great childcare. Never had an issue with sitters being late or not showing up. I didn't realize tip was not included, however, so it was a little awkward when the sitter seemed to expect something at the end of the evening. After reviewing the website and tipping policy, I was able to send her the money. It would be nice if that was a little more clear (I fear we never tipped the people we sent before since I thought it was against the policy).

I’m so glad we discovered Portland Nanny. Caregivers are very professional, engaged, and flexible. My kids always have a great time and our minds are at ease knowing our kids are in good hands. Our last caregiver, Andi was wonderful and helped us with in a pinch care. Madison is also another individual that the kids have a blast with. I have recommended Portland Nanny to friends and coworkers. Prices are fair and very clearly explained. Caregivers are punctual and professional. It’s really obvious that a lot of thought goes into choosing employees. Thanks, Portland Nanny!

We have been so fortunate to work with Cassandra and Portland Nanny for the last 5 months and counting. Cassandra is exuberant, experienced, and attentive to our child's individual needs, personality, and holistic development. She is highly communicative, taking careful and helpful notes each day to not only track meals eaten and basic physical needs, but also shares highlights and specifics related to his social, emotional, and cognitive development. There have been a number of times that she's willingly shared the craft ideas, dough recipes, playtime ideas, and discipline tips that she uses. She integrates walks in the neighborhood, takes our son to library time, and finds a million creative things to do around the house using the resources and simple things we typically have in the kitchen and craft box. During the few times that Cassandra hasn't been able to come to work, Nicole rapidly found a great, well-vetted nanny to step in and communicated everything with me over text. We are so pleased with this trusted company and the care that Cassandra provides.

I don’t know what we would do without the Portland Nanny team. Megan has been with us for years now. And our son literally looks forward to ever time he’s with her. She is reliable, responsible, always on time, thoughtful and just fun. They do arts and crafts, games, activities, walks to the park and more.
