We had a great experience with this moving company. Jeff, the owner, is thorough, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He walked us through the moving process patiently and was available any time we had a question. The move was orchestrated seamlessly and all of our things arrived on time and with no damage. Jeff did exactly what he said he would do and was accurate with his estimate for the move. The movers worked diligently and were very accommodating with our requests for where we wanted our boxes and furniture placed, even when we changed our minds! We would highly recommend this moving company!

Potomac Moving Company did a great job for us!! We were having our floors refinished and had to move all our furniture to another level of the home. The team was punctual, courteous and professional. They managed to get the job done (moving out and back in 2 weeks later) within the agreed upon timeframe without incident. The team couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I wouldn’t hesistate to use them again.

The Potomac Moving crew that arrived at my residence was the most professional, the most organized and the most innovative that I have ever witnessed in furniture transport. I would never use anyone else. I was amazed by the quickness of their work with which they combined the absolute greatest possible care. Nothing was more important than how they constantly strove to protect my precious antique furniture. No part of the job was too difficult for these experts in moving. When the bookcase was too big to fit through the master bedroom door, they removed the door from its frame in minutes, place the item inside exactly where I had designated it. And I could not tell that the door had been touched after it was placed back into its frame. These experienced veterans of the moving business worked as hard as humanly possible to provide me with the best possible experience in moving. My hat's off to Potomac Moving!

This team was awesome! Very conscientious and respectful. I don't think there's enough room here to say it all. I was worried because my back went out the day before, but Jeff and the super guys were wonderful! It's nice to know people still have warm hearts. I will definitely be referring them to all I know and would absolutely hire them again.

I had a great experience with Potomac Moving. They were on time. They worked quickly but safely. They were always pleasant and polite. Nothing was damaged. They had to deal with a small elevator and limited space in had for storage. It all went great. All my communications prior to the move were answered quickly. I would use them again in a second. We had such a wonderful experience with Potomac Moving. They were friendly, professional, on time, hard working and incredibly careful with our belongings. Pricing is also more than reasonable. While I don't plan on moving again any time soon, when & if that day comes, I will happily hire these folks again!!!

Jeff with Potomac Moving is quick to respond to any questions I had. We have used Potomac Moving for two different moves. Both moving crews we had were timely, careful and a pleasure to work with. Our second move was a long distance one from VA to FL. The moving crew were in constant communication with us while on making the trip to FL. It was the best of times and it was the worst of times. I was finally making the "move of my life"; going to the country with a little house of my own, with no paper on it. However, I was scheduled to move the household one week into mandatory self-quarantine "requests" from the Governor. Adding to the mix; it was a two-destination move. First to the storage locker and then to the temporary quarters while I waiting for settlement and repair. I would be lying if I said there was no stress. Thank goodness for Jeff K. and his team of kind and strong gentlemen. They were prompt, careful, encouraging (very important) and consistently pleasant over the coarse of one of a momentous day for me. I would recommend them at any time for any move anywhere.

We were very satisfied with Potomac Moving Company. It did take a bit longer to pack up our house then I think we all anticipated, but honestly, I think it took so long because they thoroughly wrapped and protected every piece of furniture. This not only protected our furniture, but also the walls in our new house as they carried the furniture in. I was particularly pleased with the leader of our moving group, Matt. He was very kind, efficient, and I appreciated his joyful demeanor during the normal stresses of moving. I will definitely be recommending them to others.

The Potomac Moving Company moved me on May 7th, 2019. It was a complicated move involving moving furniture and belongings from my old apartment and separate storage unit to my new apartment. Jeff and his crew made an event I was dreading a stress-free time. The move went quickly and smoothly. They carefully wrapped my furniture even made a 4th stop to drop an item off that I was gifting to a friend. They set up my bed and placed all my furniture in my new location. Also, Jeff is a truly nice guy. And I felt his price was very reasonable. I would use this company again. Due to flooding in my new apartment, I again asked contacted Jeff to move me to a new apartment. So on August 3rd, 2019, approximately 3 months after my first move, a Potomac Moving crew of three showed up to move me once again. As before, it was an awesome, no-hassle event. I was dreading having to move again so soon. But Potomac Moving made it easy. I highly recommend this company.

Jeff and his Potomac Moving Company crew did an excellent job moving our furniture and other belongings into temporary storage. Special care was given to our baby grand piano. We will schedule another move with Jeff and his crew later in the summer to move our belongings into a new condo. I have only good things to say about Potomac Moving Company and would highly recommend its services. The moving crew was also very friendly.

I have moved several times and this was the easiest by a long shot. Potomac showed at my house on time with the owner to quickly view the furniture. Within 5 minutes a very professional team of 4 was carefully wrapping and loading furniture on the truck. They were at least 1 hour quicker than expected. When we got to the new location, they worked with us to place every item the loaded in its proper place. Jeff, the owner again showed up to check the progress. The whole move was very smooth. We recommend and will use Potomac moving in the future!!

I had to move furniture on 1/21/19. I called on Potomac Moving Company because they had serviced my family on numerous occasions. I would not select anyone else because their customer service is the best. Each time they were polite, friendly, on time and got the job done without any issues. Potomac Moving was great in their service. They arrived on time and explained everything they were going to do. They moved all my items very carefully and made sure all was taken from the old place into the new place. Their price was more than reasonable. Working with Jeff and his team was a great experience. I had to move from Arizona to DC for a job. I filled 2 big PODs full of precious memories of art, furniture, office equipment, etc. and not one item was destroyed or broken. Most of all, Jeff’s Team was caring about where I wanted my items placed in my townhome. We all laughed at times and I felt so comfortable working with them. Jeff and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, and hard working. Jeff was also clear and upfront on the pricing, which when you are moving it's nice not having those extra surprises. They did put a small scratch in our flat screen, but Jeff handled it very professionally. These things happen when you move. Would highly recommend Potomac Moving Company for your next move!

Prior to the move, Jeff was very responsive to all questions and concerns. The team was on time, carefully wrapped furnitures, padded doorways, covered walkways, and worked non-stop. They moved a heavy elliptical machine from the basement to an upstairs room without a glitch, and helped padding the furniture legs to prevent scratched to the new house wood floor. Everybody was courteous and professional. They also cleaned up and removed all wrappings/debris before departing. We'd strongly recommend Potomac Moving Company without hesitation to everybody.

I never write reviews because I'm lazy but Jeff and Marco were amazing. Jeff was able to price match the lowest estimate for me and go lower. They both worked fast and efficiently and all my furniture came in unscratched and intact. They didn't even complain and were extremely pleasant when I had a last minute extra stop at a second storage location to pick up more furniture. It was the best moving experience and I'm glad I went with them. Would recommend them to everyone I know.
