I would say Randy probably produces the best quality image capture and printing anywhere in the world. That is not an exaggeration. He incorporates the newest technology, which is combined with his decades of experience to produce a quality that cannot be matched. As an artist, I paint night scenes, which are virtually impossible to reproduce in a manner that is consistent with the original. I brought one to Randy to see what he could do. He scanned the image and made a print that was identical to the original. IDENTICAL! The colors, values, tones, gradations were all SPOT ON. Do you know how difficult that is to do? On top of all that he is the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

The Maui community is privileged to include an artist as technically gifted and personally invested as Randy Hufford. I was immediately struck by the quality of Randy's work when, as a relative newcomer to the island, I visited Grandma's Coffee House in Kula about five years ago. Within a burgeoning visual arts scene, his work exudes a particular quality both radiant and calming. Now that my wife and I are fortunate enough to own two of his works, we find the space of our bedroom quite literally transformed. He and his wife even took the time to personally install the larger of the two pieces; waking up to "Waters of Refreshment" each morning is a perpetual blessing!

I have been a professional photographer and filmmaker for 55 years. If it happened in a photographic medium I have seen it. So, my opinion comes from years of viewing others work, the challenges of creating my own and making a living by doing it. Randy is a pro in every sense of the word. He knows his way around the tech side of photography, the business side and the art of it. Viewing his work is an experience of beauty and quality and clarity. It take years to develop a eye for subject, light and composition. He is a master of all three. He is also a teacher who can bring the best the out of his students. He is an artist who is able to live by the sale of his work. He knows how to market his work.

I have attended 2 of Randy's Adobe seminars. A 3 day Photoshop Class and a 6 day Lightroom course. First of all...they were very entertaining and fun. This make learning so much easier. I have been a Photoshop user for 25 years but I learned so much it was crazy! But the one that really paid off for me was the Lightroom course. Just 3 weeks after finishing it I was awarded the Grand Prize in a International photo contest run by Olympus. I truly believe that one reason was my new found expertise with Lightroom. My photos came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!!!! As a result of this win I have received several high level commercial photography jobs. Whether you are a pro or aspiring amateur...I cannot recommend Randy's courses highly enough. BTW...I also bought a 44" Canon printer from him and I could not have been up and running as quickly or efficiently as I did. His superb after sales service and advise are without peer. He spent several hours at my studio setting up the printer and calibrating my monitors. Then allowed me to come to his amazing work place to learn the art of stretching and mounting. If you buy a large format printer from anyone else you are simply shooting yourself in the foot! Randy and Becky Hufford are the most welcoming and helpful people I have met in many years. If you live on Maui and are into photography in any way...you have to make this connection. Randy Hufford Art = 5+ stars!!!!!!

In today's world, it is very hard to find good customer service as it seems if very few businesses really care about it. This is not the case with Randy Hufford of Limited Editions Maui. When I was looking to replace my older Epson printer, Randy met with me and gave me the pros and cons of the Epson and Canon printers. He invited me to his studio to see the Canon printers and he printed one of my pictures so I could see the difference in the printers. The quality of the print and the amount of time Randy spent with me to discuss the printers sold me on the purchase of a new Canon printer from him. However, the customer service did not end with the sale. Randy and his wife Becky made sure the order was placed correctly and shipment made to Maui. All I had to do was arrange a time when I would be home to accept the delivery. They also made sure I received all the promotions that saved me money on the purchase. But again, the customer service did not end at this point. Upon delivery of the printer, Randy personally came to my house to help me set up the printer and show me how to operate it correctly. Without his help, I think I still would be trying to get it set up correctly. He then ran me through the entire printing process to ensure I knew how to get a print from the computer to the printer. I cannot say enough about the truly OUTSTANDING Customer Service rendered to me on this purchase. I know that I can call and talk to Randy at any time in the future with a problem and he will be there to help me. As I stated in my first sentence, Customer service like this is hard to find. Randy is a true professional who ensures his customers are satisfied and that the equipment is working correctly. After working with it for a few weeks, I cannot believe the quality of the printer. I am impressed with the prints being rendered and have received great compliments from my customers on the color and quality of the prints. You cannot find a more professional, customer service company than Limited Editions Maui. I will continue to buy and work with them for many years to come in the future. I will recommend them to anyone who wants to purchase an excellent product that is backed up by the best customer service in the world. Joe Kentz
