This year I had an atypical and confusing tax liability issue and the local folks at the Internal Revenue Service could not offer advice on how to handle it. They suggested contacting a CPA for advice (to which I asked won't they have to ask the IRS?). Actually, I was referred to this firm by another CPA. Kimberly Frans contacted me fairly quickly after I inquired on their website. She researched it and subsequently I asked them to prepare my returns. We had to wait for a 1099 - it was almost 2 months late - and once all documents were available my tax returns were completed. I am quite pleased wih their responsiveness and friendliness.

So pleased again with Kimberly helping with details and items we needed to get a better return. They were able to get my appointment and return done so quickly. So satisfied to have the firm represent us with our taxes and couldn't ask for a more friendlier staff. Thanks to all and see you next year.

This is my 2nd year using Kimberly as my CPA. I will NEVER use anyone else. She not only does a great job on my self employed taxes, but throughout the year when I have questions she is always there to help me figure it out, and always gives me a timely response. She was so great at explaining all the items that I needed to keep track of when I first started my business as I had never been self employed before, and didn't know where to start when it came to taxes. She talks to you for a while before even starting the taxes to see what you have been up to over the year just in case there is something that you might forgot to put into your taxes which helps tremendously because there most of the time always is something that happened over the year that you totally forgot about or didn't think mattered when it came to taxes. I recently moved to the area and was shopping around for a tax prep service, I wanted one I could come back to each year that way I would have an established relationship with a group and wouldn't have to explain my story every time I needed to have my taxes filed. After calling around I found most of the tax prep providers to be unknowelegeable about key things I needed this year (as my taxes were a little more complicated than usual) and most of the people I talked to were a bit un-approachable and not very friendly over the phone. This was certainly NOT the case with Chris at Roberts Hart and CO. He was very friendly and approachable when I initially spoke over the phone and most importantly is that he was one of the few that knew specifically what I needed for my taxes this year. He explained all the things we would need to do and gave me a fair estimate of what things would cost. This pleasant interaction is what lead me to go with Roberts Hart and Co. Once at the office my wife and I were treated like family, the staff were extremely nice and since Chris was so knowledgeable on the phone I asked for him to be our tax prepper and he did a fantastic job. He spent extra time researching things to ensure I would get the most out of my return and even called me after store hours once he finished my return to explain to me what I was getting back. That level of dedication is hard to come by these days and I really appreciate it. Roberts Hart and Co has earned a satisfied customer and I will continue to frequent their business for all my tax prep needs in the future.
