I am so compelled to inform everyone I can about Salt Run Family Dentistry. I was in for a root canal on 8-3-17, and on top of being terrified (I'd had a very bad prior dental experience with another dentist), I was extremely sick with the flu. Never have I EVER, been treated so kindly by people who hardly even knew me. In fact, by the time they were done with the procedure, I felt like I'd been visiting with friends. Dr. Tavery and his amazing assistant, Sarah, treated me as though I were a family member. They eased my mind, both made me laugh, and told me so many wonderful stories that by the time we'd finished, I'd forgotten I'd just had a root canal. The work they did was absolutely impeccable, and they walked me through each part of the procedure, explaining what they are doing next, so there were no surprises. The professionalism, care, thoughtfulness and kindness they extended me was just beyond any measure of what I could have possibly asked for in a dentist. I immediately cancelled my husbands appointment at his other dentist and made an appointment with Salt Run and Dr. Tavery for his root canal. His experience was the EXACT same, which is so very telling. From the moment we walked through the doors into the warm, fun and friendly reception area, to the absolutely lovely staff, this was so much more than what we had hoped for in a dentist. Thank you Dr. Tavery, Sarah, Angela, and the entire staff of Salt Run Family Dentistry, for making us so feel comfortable and cared for. You have just earned 2 more patients for life. As a new patient, I required a consultation prior to a removal and crown procedure. I found the front desk to be friendly, professional, and very helpful in sorting out my Blue Cross status.The assistant and doctor were excellent and took as much time as I needed. They calmly suggested two options and explained it in a very deliberate and understandable manner.Their Xrays and equipment was state-of-the-art. I am very pleased with my new dentist.

I have been a dental patient of Dr Tavary since 1986 and have been completely satisfied with the care I have received. Both Dr Leth and Dr Tavary are excellent dentists who give high quality care and are especially attuned to patient comfort. The dental hygienists associated with the practice are absolutely "top of the line", and equally dedicated to patient comfort and care. I willingly travel 25 miles to have them take care of my dental needs.
