The place is very convenient, lots of parking space connected to Scarborough town center. Very professional and joyful staff, everyone is pleasant to deal with and very friendly. I felt very comfortable there, and they showed great care when dealing with me. I would recommend this place and its very high tech place, and very clean.

The staff at Scarborough Town Orthodontics go above and beyond to give the best possible service to their clients and parents. Recently we were unable to confirm appointments due to summer holiday scheduling. After leaving frazzled messages, staff made sure to put our mind at ease by calling and assuring us all would go ahead as planned. A simple thing, yet it meant all the difference is a busy mom's day!

I should preface this comment by noting that I am a very polite, but demanding, consumer. I know what I want and am usually not satisfied until I get it. Approximately eight years ago, I had Dr. Mair straighten my teeth using Invisalign Aligners. Dr. Mair adjusted the alignment of my teeth until I was happy (I kept asking for my teeth to be made straighter and he, while being very patient, kept adjusting). At the conclusion of the procedure, permanent wire retainers were applied to ensure that the alignment of my teeth would be preserved. Dr. Mair and his colleagues did their work with great skill and professionalism. I was pleased with the process and with the results. (I remain pleased with the results to this day.) Eight years later, I managed to damage the bottom retainer (while flossing) and, as a result, had to go back in for a repair. I was surprised (but pleased) to find that Nassim, Yolanda and Luisa were still there (and as pleasant as ever). I spent some time catching up with them before my appointment. It felt like chatting with old friends. When it was time for my appointment, Fay, who is as courteous and efficient as ever, took me in and examined the retainer. She noted that it was disconnected in one area. From that point, Michelle took over. This was my first interaction with her. She's a very polite person and does excellent work. Dr. Mair had two options with respect to fixing the retainer: (i) repair only the part of the retainer that had broken; or (ii) remove and replace the entire retainer. He indicated that Michelle should do the latter, noting that the remining portion of the retainer, while not broken, looked weak in certain areas. I was overdue for a cleaning and had more than a little tartar on my teeth. Michelle went out of her way to take care of this (very thoroughly) and then proceeded to apply the new retainer. Everything went very smoothly and I was, once again, very pleased. Anyone can sell a product or service. It's the quality of the product/service over time and after sales service that matters. What a wonderful experience we've had these past 3 yrs with Dr Mair and his incredible team of hygienists. From the very start my daughter was treated with what I believe the very best care there is! I believe I know a little bit about this as I too work in the dental field. Everytime we walked into the office or called, the level of professionalism and care is like none I've known before. All the staff greet you with a smile that never leaves their face! The staff have been there for quite a while and you can tell they love working there and enjoy what they do. Each time my daughter had her appointment it ended up being with a different hygienist, but that never mattered as each one was lovely, caring and very Professional in their own way. I don't live close to the office, but it was always my pleasure to make the drive to Scarborough knowing what a great experience awaited us and we were never disappointed. I sing the praises of Dr. Mair and his staff to anyone who will listen. Thank you for the kind, caring and top-rate treatment my daughter had in your office, we will miss the "dancing" orthodontist. We love my daughter's beautiful smile!!

From a young age I could remember being insecure about my teeth. When I would smile I would quickly close my mouth so people wouldn't look at my stained crooked teeth. As I grew older I always wondered what I should do to fix my teeth, I thought about maybe just whitening them or getting veneers, but those weren't the best options for me. My cousin had recently got her braces and I kept thinking about getting them for myself. One day just randomly I was passing by Scarborough Town Centre and I noticed they had an orthodontist clinic right beside it so the next day I decided to book a consultation (the receptionist was the sweetest ever) and went in with my dad. I was very nervous but the minute I walked in I was welcomed very warmly and I felt very comfortable, I didn't have to wait too long before going into the room to talk about the procedures and the payment. They were very descripitive, they answered all my questions and concerns, Dr. Mair was in there with us and he was very funny and assuring about my decision. I was so happy with STO that I didn't even have to read reviews I knew this was the place. My orthodontist was Dr. Nguyen, she was the sweetest person ever, she really made my 2 years go by like it was nothing. All my appointments went well, if I had to reschedule even last minute they were very kind about it, they would always give you reminders about your appointments so you wouldn't forget. When they finally took my braces off I was so happy with my results, they took care of all the things that I hated about my teeth and the stains actually dissapeared a little more after taking them off. It was the best investment I made in myself and I'm happy it was with Sarborough Town Orthodontics.
