My mother started with Seniors Home Care approximately 3 years ago. Her health was failing and she needed some assistance at home. It was very difficult for my mother to accept that she needed help and she was worried her privacy would be invaded. As it turns out, each of the caregivers Seniors Home Care sent us were very well matched to my mother's needs and personality. When my mother could no longer drive, her caregivers drove her wherever she needed to go, thus preserving her independence for a while longer. They even learned to make my mother's favorite recipes when cooking became difficult for her! It is not always easy to accept the loss of independence that aging brings, and my mother was no exception. The respect, gentleness, patience and most importantly, humor that each caregiver treated my mother with was greatly appreciated. It is telling that when my mother was temporarily in a nursing rehab facility, she asked for her caregivers by name. We were grateful that these same caregivers were able to return when my mother came home. Without Seniors Home Care, we would not have been able to keep my mother home. To the end, we were able to respect her wishes. Thanks to the caregivers Senior Home Care provided who were there up to the last day. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Seniors Home Care to anyone.

From day one. I felt we were in high quality, professional hands. Administrative staff is as sikilled as the caregivers. Respectful, caring people who take pride in their work. Reliability is understood by all at SHC as a primary concern, along with kindness and skill. Our regular caregivers have those kills and more. They are part of our family. I seek their guidance an repect their opinions. The quality of life my husband has is only possible because of SHC caregivers that share our goals.

The staff could really relate to our situation from the start, it was very easy to set up and they worked with our schedule and my mom's needs. Very empathetic. The caregivers were very dependable, compassionate, & engaging. Everyone is so understanding of each person's situation. Thank you so much for all you have done for our mom!

While the attributes of compassion, reliability, and trustworthiness certainly apply to my experience(s) with Seniors Home Care, additional tenets should also be recognized: *Attention to quality in all activities (cooking, cleaning, assisting, and corresponding) *Completion of tasks while at times doing more than what is expected *Concern for the welfare of others (both for seniors being attended and for relatives/family members) *Professional attire and presentation *Loyalty and proper esprit de corps to the organization (SHC)

My 85+ year old husband and wife relatives in Ballwin living in their own home needed assistance for the first time in their lives and I live in Minneapolis. Thank goodness for the referral by a retired priest at their church who personally uses Seniors Home Care. I have now used SHC every day for over a year and couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness, trustworthiness and compassion through some very difficult times. SHC caregivers have provided care at home including 24/7 hospice care for my relative who passed away this summer as well as care in the hospital, rehab center and for visits to the doctor. I trust them implicitly. Liz, Karen and Donna, the RN case managers, are simply the best. They have managed all of the pieces such as transitioning from rehab to home and coordinating everything from medications to physical therapy to medical equipment to following-up with the doctors. They are excellent at communciating with me. No matter what changes in scheduling I have, Wendi has handled all of them with continuity of caregivers which is so very important. I now use SHC for the surviving spouse for three hours a day for companionship, cooking and cleaning and to go to doctor appointments and tests with him and recently hired them 24/7 when he was in the hospital and I could not be there including dealing with the doctor and discharge orders and transporting him home. He is comforted that the caregivers all took such loving care of his beloved spouse as well so knew her. SHC caregivers are first rate. SHC has my highest recommendation and my deepest thanks.
