After years of dealing with “bad teeth”, I decided to have a total mouth make over. I did some research and talked to lots of people before I settled with the Sullivan Dental Group. My first meeting was with a beautiful young lady named Aubrey that took a lot of time going over and explaining everything that would entail my ‘make over’. We decided on 3 implants and 10 crowns. Dr. Sully is the doctor who has done all my dental work. He designed such a beautiful smile for me! Each and every staff member are personable yet professional. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!! I highly recommend this dental group!

I just had my first appointment with Sullivan Dental Partners and I’m very impressed! I had been sent a link to fill out my New Patient forms which I found to be convenient. My initial consultation was free including regular bite-wing X-rays and a high-tech X-ray that provided Dr. Rick with not only a 3-D view of my teeth and jaws, but an ability for him to see multiple views many layers deep....and Rick was extremely familiar with software. He used it to show me some issues that I’d known about...but as we reviewed the images together, he explained to me what was being displayed and what it meant in language I could easily understand. His staff was knowledgeable and friendly too. There was no high pressure to make any decisions to move forward. Everything was comfortable and down to earth. One of my issues is that to get the care I’m needing with my current dental issues was requiring me to use three separate dental practices....one for general dentistry, one for periodontal and implant services, and another for root canals. Why do I have to take time off from work to go to three different dentists...all the paperwork times three...all the traveling time three...why can’t I just find a dental group that offers all the different services I’m needing??? Well...I did! I found Sullivan Dental Patners...for lack of a better term, one-stop dentistry. I’m confident that their practice is the most convenient and practical solution for me.

Sullivan Dental provides comfortable and caring service while delivering excellent results. I’ve spent many hours in dental chairs over the years due to a accident in high school when I was kicked by a horse. After many years of making do with my teeth with what developed I found Sullivan Dental. Dr Rick gave me back a sparkling smile. So happy with my results. Trust the process. The implant procedure is expensive and not for the faint of heart, but I was convinced that as I age, I did not want dentures that rob me of sense of taste and natural smile. Turns out teeth are important, albeit your own or the ones you buy. I didn’t want to be the woman who comes home after a day, relieved after by kicking off my shoes, and shudder, taking out my teeth. Dentures are not your teeth, just a precariously unfaithful....sometimes embarrassing apparatus in your mouth that you’re can never forget, like a Ford Pinto. I talk about dentures because when you start the implant procedure you are given essentially an a denture you will wear until your gums shrink, and if you need a bone transplant, it takes. Sullivan Dental, dang I work so close to their Brentwood office yet never been a visitor, mainly eating a lot of macaroni salad from former next door biz Phillips Deli. Miss them. I’ve cut the cord and my antenna picks up Channel 2, saw Sullivan Dentals commercial. A woman can eat a salad. Silly it sounds but it is true. Once you ignore your teeth and they go away, so do most of the nutritious foods, apples, salads, a good steak. I digress. Had a consult and learned what would happen, anesthesia, and drilling into The jawbone to place the post, and in my case the bone transplant material. This is not for the faint of heart, impulsive types who want a quick fix. In my case I looks I took several days off from work because there may or may not be a lot of swelling and discomfort but the mild pain relief they give get you through the first few days. That’s where the commitment and trust starts, you have to plan this procedure and prepare mentally for it. Your diet will change. That is my only disappointment with the procedure, I think a grocery item list of foods that are palatable and able to be digested would have been good. That’s my only complaint. In my case as I healed my diet went to yogurt, Ensure, jello, vitamin waters, etc. Monday was my almost final appointment to reform the upper plate into one that aligned with the implanted posts, the denture had to be sent to a lab to finish (remember to plan), today I got to wear it finished. I wanted to cry. The denture gave me slight speech impediments with “s’s”, because my tongue, normally accustomed to reaching the top of my roof and edge of my lips, no longer could. I couldn’t wrap my head around how they would make this denture, into something that would give me back my sense of tastes and smile. Trust the process. Hello roof of mouth, got a date with a ribeye, a pear, those expensive apples only available in February. Celery with peanut butter! I know this is long and there’s probably grammar and etc. etc. errors in this but I really want to thank everyone at Sullivan Dental, not for just giving me new teeth, but for giving me the ability to continue on with a life that takes me back to nutrition so needed. I love you guys, I’m running for nothing yet still approve this message.

Hello, I recently had my wisdom teeth extraction at Sullivan Dental in August. I had been putting it off for the last two years because I was afraid of the possible negative experiences like having a dry socket. However, Dr Sullivan and my hygienist, Melanie, reassured me that it would a simple procedure and provided useful tips. I’m happy to say that I had no complications with my few days of recovery after the extraction and I didn’t even have to take any medications. I would definitely recommend his office!

My 11 week old son went in for a lip tie that his pediatrician stated "wasn't very bad". We found out after a consult that it was severe and his tongue was severely restricted causing issues swallowing. The process was hard. My little man wasn't happy about someone poking around in his mouth, but the doctor and the staff were amazing! They answered all my questions, concerns, and were very knowledgeable about both issues. I'm so glad they fixed his mouth and we'll definitely be back when the next baby pops out! Thank you!

Melanie is fantastic and has been my hygienist for years. I was a child who did not go to the dentist for a long period of time and had a lot of teeth issues. Dr Rick worked hard to help me turn that around and now I do not miss an appointment! Thanks guys!!

The quality of care at Sullivan Dental is way past a 5 star rating. I have always felt like I was their only patient for the day of my appointment. Dr Sullivan is my dentist but I feel like he’s my friend as well. He has always been genuinely gentle when doing all my procedures and talking to me to make sure I feel I’m doing okay. Believe me I have had a lot of work done.He is as sweet as can be and finds the time to fit me in if I have a unscheduled problem. He’s an hour and a half away from me and I hate driving in Nashville but it’s so worth the drive and time when I leave there and I’m glad I took the ride. I recommend Sullivan Dental for all your needs from the smallest to a complete dental makeover as I did.

I moved here trying to find a dentist. I had experienced many dental issues previously that were not treated properly. I was hesitant going to anyone new. However, from my first visit which was a cleaning to all visits the service is outstanding. the staff is top of the line experince and all very informative and so easy to communicate with on all topics. Dr.Sully has far surpassed my expectations...he does not tell you what you should do. He gives you options when there are severalty consider. He suggests ideas for further enhancements or needs I may need or want with my teeth and Bite. Overall, everything I have had done is quick. painless...I don't use the gas...excellent followup from everyone and will work with schedules also to accommodate last minute cancellations. If you are looking for just a dentist go to Dr. sully and staff. If you are looking for someone who is cutting edge and keeps up on all types of procedures...go to Sullivan Dental Partners, The best!!

Sullivan Dental Partners was recommended to me by my brother and sister in law. I have a lot anxiety when I need a dental procedure. I was very happy to find that they offer sedation with their procedures. I’ve seen both Doctor Richard Sullivan and his son Doctor Sully. They are kind, caring and very attentive to your needs. The whole office staff is just wonderful, very friendly and always upbeat. And then there’s Aubrey their Dental Sleep Coordinator. If you have Sleep Apnea and are currently using a CPAP machine you might want to check them out. They offer an alternative to using the CPAP machine. I can’t say enough about her she is wonderful, kind and very patience! if you despise that CPAP like I did give them a call you won’t regret it! I am so happy to have found Sullivan Dental Partners. Give them a call today you’ll be happy you did!

Sullivan Dental partners and ALL the staff made a huge impact on my life during a difficult time. I had an accident in which three of my front teeth came out. I was not an established client but nevertheless they took me in the NEXT DAY and were so kind and accomodating. It was an emotional time for me and every staff member was so kind and understanding. They created beautiful temporary teeth for me and I was able to leave assured and confident. And now my smile looks just like it did before! Dr. Rick is exceptionally talented. They helped me through a difficult circumstance and made me feel confident again. I highly recommend this office to anybody looking for a dental practice!

The team at Dr. Sullivan’s office is wonderful! From cleanings and routine work to implants, the care and expert work you receive is second to none. I’ve had two implants placed and the ladies in the insurance department let me know exactly what my co-pay would be so there were no surprises. Their fees are very reasonable as well, which makes it easy to stay on top of your dental care.
