I highly recommend Tropical Maui Weddings. Lori and her team of experts are experienced and professional. Lori listened to all of requests, responded to every phone call and email and made sure I was happy. She was able to create my dream wedding all within my budget. When I first started planning my wedding I became so overwhelmed and stressed. It was so difficult to even know where to start, that's when a friend recommended Tropical Maui weddings. Thanks to Lori and Jamie, at Maui Tropical Weddings, my husband and I had a completely stress-free, incredibly spiritual, romantic and fun, perfect wedding, that was like something out of a story book!!! My husband and I got married in Maui in July this year. It was like a dream wedding. I can't imagine any way in which our wedding could have been more special. Here we are, living in California. Neither one of us had ever been to Hawaii. I found Lori and Jamie on line, and read the reviews. Lori arranged everything. She was “boots on the ground” in Hawaii, and believe me, she knows everything there is to know about arranging a Hawaiian wedding that you will never, ever forget. Not only did we have the perfect pastor and photographer, but Lori's husband Jamie sang at our wedding, and made it incredibly beautiful and memorable. He has the voice of an Angel. Seriously. From the time we arrived in Maui, she had everything worked out as smooth as silk, with a complete itinerary and instructions on what we should do. We got our wedding license and even had my dress steamed and his suit pressed with instructions on how that should be carried out. Zero stress and nothing but fun and pure enjoyment. Lori arranged a tailor made venue for us. We were married on a deserted beach (Ironwoods) as the sun was setting, and the sky was bright with color. We even had a rainbow over our heads as we said our vows. Lori found us the perfect restaurant within 5 minutes from the ceremony. This was one of the best days of our lives. On top of all that, they work within your budget, and try to get you everything you want at a price you can afford. Tropical Maui weddings was worth every penny spent. We are so grateful to Jamie and Lori for their time and care spent to make our day flawless. Look no further if you want a perfect Maui wedding experience!

Our daughter and husband got married on Maui in May, 2016. Our daughter lives in Denver, we live in Portland, Oregon and the wedding was held on Maui, trying to plan a wedding from the mainland was too daunting so we hired the amazing Team at Tropical Maui Weddings. They came highly recommended by Olowalu Plantation Estates ranked #1 Tropical wedding venue. Tropical Maui Weddings did not disappoint...they handled every minute detail and more and took away the stree of finding the Best vendors on the island (photographer, caterers, florists, DJ etc.). Their relationship with their vendors is strong and loyal so when anything at the last minute is needed they were right there accommodating every need. Jamie and Lori are a true pleasure to work with and give the same quality service wether your wedding is 30 people or 200 people. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and dedication to make this wedding beautiful and memorable. Our guests are still talking about this 'Epic' Hawaiian wedding they will never forget. We had a wonderful experience. Lori was amazing, organized, professional, and kind. They went above and beyond the call of duty in making our day special. They worked within our budget to make everything flow without stress. Jamie was an amazing help in so many ways, with music, miss, band, video and more. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would! We had a very small vow renewal ceremony and didn't have a specific idea of what type of ceremony we wanted. Lori gave us many ideas for our ceremony and several options for venues, ministers, etc and thanks to her and Jamie the ceremony was beautiful!! Lori was very knowledgeable and professional, always responsive to emails and phone calls, easy to work with and just an overall wonderful person. We so appreciate everything she did for us! You cannot go wrong by hiring Tropical Maui Weddings! Thank you Lori and Jamie for making our anniversary so special!

Lori and Jamie could not have made our day any more perfect. Lori was extremely thorough and ontop of consistently sending us information and updates on details. Being from Australia and having our wedding in Maui, we didn't know where to start or have any contacts in Maui. All of the vendors we hired for the evening were beyond incredible! Extremely accomodating and making us feel incredibly special. Lori and Jackie were extremely helpful throughout the planning process, communication was always open and my questions were always answered. Lori was extremely accomodating and welcomed us into her home and treated us as friends rather than clients. Lori made our wedding day run so unbelievably smoothly- I honestly don't know what I would have done without her!! Jamie, everyone continues to rave about your acoustic session and your voice sounding like James Taylor. Everyone was massive fans and you truely encompassed our vibe and everything we wanted our wedding to be!! We couldn't thank you enough for the beautiful memories you have helped us Create!

It was a dream of many years coming true to have Jamie sing at our daughter's wedding in Napa this past August. We have listened to his music on CD for many years and always loved it - and to not only be able to meet him in person but have him perform at the most important day in our daughter's life meant the world to us. Jamie and Lori made the entire process so easy, from first contact by phone, to sending an estimate. Lori made sure to call and ask about Jamie's performance attire, as well as making sure that all the songs we requested were in the plan. Jamie even learned new songs that were requested of him for the bride and her father's dance and the groom and his mom's dance - and Jamie also performed with the band and the combination was incredible, off the charts. I can't imagine any bride not being completely in love with Jamie's beautiful, gentle voice and repertoire - it made the day positively amazing. So grateful.

After dealing with two different coordinators, we were referred to Tropical Maui Weddings, and since then the process of getting married became an enjoyable and pleasant experience. Our wedding was a dream come true, everything was perfect, the venue, the food, the entertainment. I told a friend my fiance and I were planning on getting married in Hawaii, but were overwhelmed and did not know where to start. Several wedding planners I contacted were only interested in assisting if it was a big budget wedding, which we were not interested in. It is a second marriage for both of us, so we wanted a simple, yet elegant wedding with just a few friends. My friend recommended Tropical Maui Weddings. We couldn't be more pleased. In looking for someone to help coordinate our wedding in Maui, we did what I am sure most couples do, search the internet. In doing so, we came across many different options. One of the things that caught our eye was their website – tropicalmauiweddings.com. It was very informative and user friendly. During our first telephone conversation with Lori Lawrence we knew we had found the right place to help with our wedding ceremony. Lori is very down to earth and by the time we finished our conversation with her, we felt like we had been talking to an old friend. She was so warm and personable. We are a lesbian couple and were treated with the utmost of respect. We put all of trust in Tropical Maui Weddings and never once questioned their ideas, suggestions, etc. Lori and Jamie Lawrence do exceptional work and take care of so many details. They lessened the stress for us so we didn’t have to worry with all of the fine details. Jamie sang a couple of songs at our wedding and hearing his voice will just give you chills. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much Tropical Maui Weddings for all you did to make our special day so incredibly special to us. We were looking for a simple wedding with some fine touches and called a friend in Oahu who is very knowledgable about such things. She recommended Tropical Maui Weddings and even made the contact for us. We were treated to a sample of Jamie's voice and immediately knew we wanted him. We requested a song that is very personal to us, and when he sang it at the wedding, we both teared up with emotion. We had instructed Richard Marks to take only ten photos but to our enormous surprise and delight he took took it upon himself to take 200 photos and even made a video from them. The video was so creative and so beautiful that we shared it with family and friends with hugely positive reactions. We are forever indebted to Jamie and Richard for what we feel was a beautiful and memorable wedding, well beyond our expectations.

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary and we are still amazed by the services we received by Tropical Maui Weddings :) We look back on our stunning photos and can't help but say thank you over and over again to Lori & Jamie for making our special day such a wonderful experience. We had a really short notice(5 weeks) wedding and we received Lori's contacts from our friends who were also getting married in Maui the same week. The first time we exchanged e-mails and had a skype chat all our fears of the unknown vanished. They made us comfortable, understood and we immediately felt like we are in good hands. Lori is so friendly and welcoming, yet a real professional, punctual who always keeps everything under control. Jamie was supportive and gave us a wonderful gift, sacrificing his day off to sing on our tiny beach ceremony. We are eternally grateful for that. Everything went incredibly smooth, according to plans and I did not feel any stress, pressure or worry during the whole preparation process or on the day. We wanted to express our gratitude to both Lori and Jamie, and the whole Tropical Maui Weddings for doing such a great job. Lori and Jamie of Maui Tropical Weddings were wonderful to work with for my daughter's wedding on Maui. They are fun people and are good at what they do. Lori offered great options and recommendations for vendors and was always willing to look further when requested. Olowalu Plantation House was the location for the wedding and they are experts at this setting. Lori was organized and thought of all the details needed to make my daughter and son in law's vision for a perfect wedding come together. Jamie was the musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour. As an added bonus, he sang their first dance song. His musical talent was one of my favorite highlights of the day. On the day of the wedding, both Lori and Jamie worked nonstop to make everything go smoothly. I felt they took pride in making the wedding perfect, as if it was their own. The guests were amazed by the beautiful location, gorgeous flowers, excellent food, great music and in my opinion the most beautiful wedding ever! Mahalo to Lori and Jamie of Tropical Maui Weddings. Lori made our daughters wedding spectacular and stress free. Her recommendations for food, photography, minister, flowers and music were perfect. She gave our daughter three choices in all things, we could have closed our eyes and picked any of them I am sure. She knows her vendors!!!! She made recommendations as to lighting and cocktail seating choices but never pressured us. DO NOT hesitate to have Lori's husband (Jamie) perform for your wedding. Our guests were very impressed with him and so were we. He actually helped to make the wedding more special, as he sang during guests arrival, ceremony and cocktail hour. Just wonderful!!! Lori and Jamie stayed at our event the whole night and didn't leave until helping us pack our car and waived to us as we drove off. Very professional and personal service.

I would happily recommend Lori and Tropical Maui Weddings over and over again! Our wedding was very small, with only four people in attendance, but you would never know it with the high level of attention Lori put in to helping us plan it. She was extremely knowledgeable and led us to some of the most amazing photographers, florists, and stylists. Lori was always very prompt in answering emails and phone calls. My wife and I got married in May at Sugarman Estate (Honua Kai Lani) in Maui, with around 60 guests. The whole event was fantastic and this was in no small part due to the incredible service provided by Tropical Maui Weddings. Lori Lawrence worked with us for months in advance to help us plan all the details, and she was a total pleasure to work with. Professional, reliable, knowledgeable and very friendly - we were extremely grateful and happy to have her on board, both for the planning process and for the wedding day. She was as hands-on as she needed to be, and it was very reassuring to know that she was there for us from start to finish. The peace of mind she provided, aside from the technical support, was invaluable. Her assistant, Jackie, was also great - very helpful and efficient. We also hired Lori's husband, Jamie, to sing for us at the wedding, and he was absolutely terrific. A beautiful voice, and great musician - and a really nice guy. If you're looking for some wonderful musical accompaniment for your big day, look no further. He can sing in English or Hawaiian, and plays a variety of instruments - whatever you need. Upon arriving in Maui we were kindly hosted by Lori and Jamie at their beautiful home to go over all the wedding details, and Lori also allowed us to borrow some wedding items from her extensive collection of paraphernalia...items for center-pieces, parasols and so on. She has a ton of useful, decorative pieces that can come in handy. Lori was so helpful that, the day before the wedding when time was tight, she even kindly made a quick shopping trip into Kahului to grab something for my wife's wedding dress so it would fit perfectly. It was this kind of extra service and kindness that really stood out. Lori has been doing this long enough that she's also fully connected with many of the other wedding vendors, and it was through her recommendations that we were able to hire the people we needed. For each vendor (e.g. caterer) she would provide a few options, and some background on price/quality/reputation of each one. She was also very happy to have us hire them through her, as part of the overall wedding package, or to let us contact them and hire them directly ourselves. We were very happy with all of our vendors, and highly recommend all of them. We are so grateful to have found Tropical Maui Weddings! Lori and Jamie treated our small family wedding as if it were their only priority. I was so nervous to plan our Maui wedding from Alaska, but felt instantly at ease with Lori. She quickly picked up on my need to have fewer rather than more choices with vendors and skillfully directed me to the best value for our priorities. Our venue was perfect, and we were able to hold the location despite the small size of our party due to Lori's sterling reputation. I loved my flowers, our photographer was a joy, hair and makeup was a breeze-remarkable for this low-maintenance bride! Jamie's music at the ceremony was the icing on the cake. Since the first contact we had with Tropical Maui Weddings, everything was perfect! We live in Mexico, so our wedding was a real challenge but we just trust them and not only the wedding was exactly a dream come true. We have one word to describe Tropical Maui Weddings: AMAZING. Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without the help of Lori, Jamie, and Jackie of Tropical Maui Weddings. All of the destination wedding planning stress went away when we found TMW. We were married at the Olowalu Plantation House in November and TMW is the perfect wedding planner to use for that venue. From the moment we began communicating with Lori we knew we were in for a wonderful wedding planning experience. Lori and her assistant, Jackie, were unbelievable to work with: emails were answered promptly and telephone calls were returned and they really went above and beyond to answer questions and give suggestions. Our wedding day was extra special because of all of the work TMW put into it. All of the vendors recommended by TMW were fantastic and all of our friends and family are still talking about how wonderful the day was. We had Lori's husband, Jamie, sing during our ceremony and everyone thought there was a cd playing. Jamie's amazing voice put a unique touch to our ceremony. I worked with Lori from Tropical Maui Weddings and she was AMAZING!!! Trying to plan a Maui wedding while living in California is not easy, but with Lori and team it was. They pulled everything together and made the day of run perfectly. We didn't have to worry or stress about a thing and could just enjoy ourselves. It was the most unforgettable!
