From start to finish, Watkins Flowers of Distinction was one of the best vendors that I have ever worked with both professionally and personally. When I initially met with Sallie (Co-Owner with Ed), she was incredibly attentive to my vision and style for our early summer wedding. She offered realistic and thoughtful feedback on the specific types of flowers and arrangements suitable for my style and wedding vision. I immediately felt comfortable and supported by the business. Sallie made recommendations on how the flowers would be both styled and the look with relation to the texture and appearance of the flowers. With our budget in mind, I always felt supported and advocated for. She consistently helped me to make changes and honor specific requests. For example, in honoring my husband's late mother, she incorporated small sprigs of lilac in his grandmother's and sisters' corsages. They were gorgeous and incredibly special to his family. Brenda was instrumental in the logistics and always helped me with questions over the phone and getting in touch with Sallie. She was kind and thoughtful and provided feedback and support with our wedding arrangements. I'd also like to thank June for selecting such an amazing assortment of flowers and creating her own 'art' in our arrangements. Sallie's husband and co-owner, Ed, was very timely and helpful from making flower recommendations to delivering all of the floral arrangements on our wedding day. You can tell how much pride this business takes in building relationships with their customers. When family and friends ask me about my favorite part(s) of our wedding, I always respond with "the floral arrangements by Watkins!" Hands down, it makes me smile to still think of it. I can't thank Watkins FOD enough for their outstanding floral selection, deliveries and sales assistance. I am now a customer for life!

Second time I have order from Watkins Flowers, and second time they have delivered expectional service as well as beautiful flowers. Ed and Sallie were friendly, accommodated my same day request, even during a snow storm. Will order from them again!

My mother passed away recently and I wanted red and white roses for the casket spray. I was looking to create a tranquil and dignified landscape. After speaking with friends of our family I decided to use Watkins Flowers of Distinction in Raleigh, NC. Watkins Flowers made ordering the casket spray easy. From inception to setup the staff was sensitive, caring, and respectful. The stately and substantial Red and White Rose casket spray provided a sense of warmth and grace that added to the already wonderful memories of my mother. Family and friends commented on how the roses were gorgeous - fresh and arranged beautifully. The Red and White Rose casket spray was not only as advertised but a bit beyond - it was what I ordered but more beautiful in person! Watkins Flowers of Distinction did an extraordinary job, and I highly recommend them for any important occasion.

Most recently I have had very close family move into a Retirement Community out-of-state. This was a very challenging and trying time for them and when I called "Watkins" and spoke with Ed and explained the circumstances...I was immediately put at ease that he would call and emphasize to the florist out-of-state the importance of ensuring this order be made "special" for this couple receiving. Ed also made the plant recommendation best suited for their location as well as a planter. My family called me immediately after receiving the plant with such praise and happiness for the plant. As well as just how stunning the arrangement looked. It has been months since I have heard this couple so happy. It was all worth sharing personal details with Ed in order to assist him with placing the order. This is my first time ordering flowers. I chose this company for their positive reviews online. They do not dissapoint! I called and placed an order for deliver for the following day. I named one type of flower I knew my girlfriend liked and they built a beautiful arrangement within my budget without issue. The customer service was great. My one request was receive a picture of the arrangement before deliver. From personal experience this is not done by other providers. The provided the provided the picture without issue. The girlfriend was beyond pleased and so am I. I highly recommend going with Watkins. Thank you again for a great experience.

My husband has been buying flowers for me on our anniversary from Watkins for over 40 years . The arrangements have always been beautiful !!!!!!! Watkins Florist helped me express my sympathy at the death of a beloved mentor by making a herculean effort to get a beautiful arrangement to the funeral home within hours of my call from out-of-town. Their personable attention to every detail put me at ease and made a sad experience one that was less stressful. The floral arrangements created by the designer Cheryl were absolutely spectacular! The presentation of the flowers were a work of art making the event extra special. Cheryl went all out with every detail in portraying the theme. We were blown away by her incredible talent. When in need of florals, Watkins is our go to choice and we will spread the word!

Gorgeous arrangements and fantastic service! I called on Friday at 11:35am while in carpool line at school to order flowers for my Mother in Law's birthday the next day. I was very pleasantly surprised to get phone call from my Mother in Law at 1:00pm thanking me for the exquisite flowers that she had already received.
