Shawn was absolutely fantastic! We had requested a simple legalization/elopement, and everything turned out exactly as we had imagined it. He showed up at our chosen vacation excited for us and ready to go. He was friendly and engaging with us and our two friends who were there to witness. The whole experience turned out to be a very happy and memorable one! I will definitely be recommending these guys to anyone I know getting married in the future.

Shawn was AMAZING!!! we decided 6 days before our wedding that we were going to try to pull of a surprise wedding at our engagement party. Shawn got back us right away, he was friendly, professional and up to the challenge we presented him with. All of our guests spoke so highly of him and they all thought we had known him forever as he made the ceremony so personal and romantic. We are not "review writers" but Shawn was so fantastic we just had to....if you are even slightly doubting going with Shawn..stop!! It's the right decision!

After 14 years and 2 kids, my partner Jason and I decided to get married. I googled getting married in BC and was given 2 options, Church sanctioned or Justice of the Peace. Since we are non denominational i read the info and was shocked at the daunting task of having to pick a Wedding Officiant out or a List of Herb"s, Leonard"s, and Earl's. I was not about to start calling around interviewing prospective old men about my non-traditional wedding. So I asked Jason if we could just elope, and we both immediately thought of Vegas. Due to lack of time and child-care I Googled "The Easiest Way to Get Married in Vancouver" and was offered Young Hip & Married as an option. We were Delighted with Lani Bruno and how sweet and confident she was. We were able to get married with a very small group of friends on Third Beach in Stanley Park on Valentine's Day. Having no Family attending, save the one I created with Jason, Lani felt like a big sister, and helped to keep me calm as we ran late waiting for the only woman I Would wait for, My Mother in Law, Della. I would highly recommend Young Hip and Married if you've been looking to get Married, not just throw a Wedding.

My wife and I were married by Lani. She was incredible. Throughout the process of arranging our elopement style wedding Lani was incredibly helpful, responsive and accommodating. She was very good at listening to what we were and were not looking for, provided some excellent feedback and suggestions. We didn't meet her in person until the wedding day, but it was like we had known her for a long time. She was incredibly approachable, friendly and easy going - exactly what we needed. We had our wedding in a public place where we had to navigate some crowds, aim for good weather, and walk some trails to get to the ceremony location. While organizing this style of wedding I was really worried about having an officiant that would be difficult to work with in this type of setting. Lani was the exact opposite. She was excited with how we were doing our ceremony and was helping organize the crowds and setting. In the ceremony itself, she nailed it! She got exactly what we were looking for and her approach was very comforting and genuine. I have, and will continue to, recommend Lani to any of my friends. Thanks again!
