I went to the event mainly to get a cleaning. Kelly took great care of me. She was there working as a volunteer. I was wearing a t-shirt that said prairie state college on the front. I learned that Kelly graduated from there with me last May. Ahoyt should consider offering Kelly a position with them. My teeth have never been so white. Kelly took time to explain the process and also asked me how I was several times. Kelly was professional and confident and that made me trust her even more. Today I had the best experience ever at a dentist.

I always receive friendly, quality dental care when I come in for an appointment. I feel the family atmosphere and I am impressed by the knowledgable staff and over the top service. The new office spaces are extremely pleasant and professional. Thank you.

My family and I have been going to Ahoyt Family Dental for over 10 years and we have always had a great experience from the moment we enter to when we leave. There name really describes how I feel when I am there, like with "Family"! I feel so welcomed when I am there. I am always greeted with a smile and taken well care of. The doctors and oral hygienists are very knowledgeable and really do everything to assure good oral hygiene and top quality care of your teeth. Hands down I rexcommend all to Ahoyt Family Dental

I have been a customer for almost 3 years now. I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend them. They are always highly professional and patient. They take the time to explain things and they always answer my questions. They are concerned about my comfort and pain level during a procedure. If I need to see them right away they get me in. I like them allot.

Very impressive dental practice! The office is amazingly clean, well organized, friendly and beautifully run. I was impressed from the front office intake, to billing, dental hygienist, and the dentist that saw me was very skilled and reassuring. I would highly recommend this practice to family and friends. Very high quality of care.

I couldn't recommend a better practice. Everyone is extremely helpful, reassuring, and very willing to explain things until you are totally satisfied with the amount of information that works for you. I had a great amount of comfort that the staff were very concerned for my welfare, and made sure I was kept informed about everything from the way the procedures would go, to the costs, insurance coverage etc. Everyone on the staff is super friendly, professional, and sincere in their dealings. I have been going to Ahoyt family dental since 2007. We had just moved back to the area and I had three small children. I was unfamiliar with my dental plan and had asked three other dentist office if they excepted my plan. No one would talk to me because I didn't know the details. When I walked into Ahoyt family dental, Carmen was very helpful. She called the insurance company and explained my coverage. Turned out I had a PPO for dental and didn't realize it. The staff has always been very kind and they are very kid friendly! Over the years the practice has grown and I have had the pleasure of meeting all of the dentists on staff. Now that my children are older and getting ready for braces, they are able to do that as well. All procedures and bills are explained prior to procedures being done. And the front desk staff is always very welcoming. I am so glad I walked into that office and asked for some help.

I am beyond please with how fabulous this facility is from check in to check out and everything in between. First and foremost my daughter was absolutely terrified at the thought of having an extraction and filling, seeing as she is only seven and this was her first time ever having dental work done besides a cleaning. The hygienist was beyond sweet and so great at explaining everything to my daughter before she did anything to make sure my daughter was well informed and comfortable. Then we went on to step two which was the dentist and his assistant to fill a cavity and extract a tooth. First the assistant started off by explaining everything to my daughter and then applying a numbing gel to make the shots less painful then the wonderful Dr. Gordon came in whom might I add is very kid friendly and is just fantastic in general. Needless to say I could go on and on how great the experience was and how wonderful each staff member treated us. I am beyond appreciative for all their kindness and great care that they provided and will refer them to anyone and everyone I know who needs dental work. Thanks again for everything

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. They made me feel relaxed and eased my fears. They also explained everything and what needed to be done now and what could wait. The office was very comfortable and relaxed. Would highly recommend this dental office!

After skipping dentist visits for seven years (yes, seven), I decided to visit Ahoyt Family Dental. Every person I encountered was friendly and helpful. I genuinely felt cared for, not looked down upon for my lack of dental visits. Every procedure was thoroughly explained, so my nerves were instantly calmed. From the assistant to the dentist, they took great care to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening. I would absolutely--without a doubt--schedule my next visit with Ahoyt.

I had recently had an experience with a dentist that wasn't pleasant causing me to search out a new dentist. I was extremely apprehensive about who to choose and would only go with someone highly recommended by a friend. A friend of mine couldn't say enough positive things about this office I had to try them! I knew the choice for Ahoyt dental was the right one when I walked into office and there was a chalk welcome sign inside vestibule welcoming me by name! I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, given a tour of the office and put in a room where I was treated with kindness and genuine concern! I met my dentist Amy who was so very warm, personalble and friendly but so professional at the same time. All the things I was looking for in a dentist!! I came back for a procedure today that caused me so much anxiety due to the unpleasant experience from a previous dentist that I swore I would NEVER repeat that procedure again. But I can't say enough about Jamie and how amazing she was throughout the entire procedure. She knew my fears and was so kind, gentle, comforting and patient with me. This procedure was NOTHING like what I had experienced before and it was because of how well Jamie took care of me! I can't believe it took me this long to find such an amazing team of professionals! I LOVE my dentists office and everyone there! Word of mouth means everything these days and I will make it my mission to get the word out about Ahoyt dental!

Ahoyt Family Dental is a fantastic place to bring your family ~ especially if they are tentative. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and they tell you step by step what they are doing along the way. The staff is very good with children, and they take such good care of them. I was so happy with the way they treated my sons that I switched over as well!

The entire staff at Ahoyt Dental, from front desk to hygienist to dentist is first rate. Communication with patients is excellent. I would highly recommend Ahoyt to anyone in need of dental care.

What a breath of fresh air Ahoyt Family Dental is! Everyone was so friendly, and helpful. The quality of care was past my expectations. I brought all three of my girls,(ages 5years, 4 years, and 17 months) which wasn't the best choice. The previous dentist my girls had seen for a regular check up, had seen both my girls in 15min. So, I was expecting a short visit,(hence, I brought my 17month old for a check up also). Once I met the dental hygienist, I realized that your office was different,(in the best way!). She took her time with my girls explaining everything to them, and doing a thorough cl dental check and cleaning,(unlike the toothbrush cleaning they had at the last office). My 17 month old was done waiting after the 1st half hour and another dental hygienist was so sweet to take her for a walk, giver her a balloon, and toys to distract her. I was beyond embarrassed at my poor choice in bringing her, but everyone was so nice about it. Thank you for that even though I was, "that mom"!! Jamie was our dental hygienist and I want to thank her for taking her time with my VERY nervous girls, and thank you for the note in the mail! I will definitely be checking out the books. Thank you again, and I promise to bring my 17 month old for her own appointment next time.

Ahoyt Dental is exactly what I need. I had been searching for friendly, quality, throughly explained dental care. I have had several unsuccessful attempts at filling cavities due to my strong gag reflex as well as anxiety. No other place has been so kind and understanding of my situation. I was able to get in for a consultation the same day I called, and cavities were all filled by a week later! Dr. Feller put me at ease, saying we could go as slowly as needed. Although sedation denistry was recommended by other offices, Ahoyt Dental found other ways to successfully take care of my dental needs. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed.
