Surpassed my expectations...truly! I purchased a Boston grand piano. The sales staff was courteous, attentive, informative, professional, and knowledgeable, yet gave me space to make my own decision regarding my purchase. I never felt pushed or uncomfortable, and they were never disparaging about their competitors! They understood my needs, and pointed me in the right direction. They assisted me within my price point, and made financing possible for my budget. I was impressed with the wide selection of used and new instruments! Made it very convenient to try several different options at one store. The store took care of me start to finish, complete with delivery, tunings, education on instrument care, etc. Even a follow up phone call! Very personable. Rather than being just another customer, I feel like I've made friends in the music store. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality instrument with royal customer service treatment!

Melody was the representative that worked with us to select a Roland Electric Keyboard. She was very knowledgeable about all of the models available, and was very concerned about making sure I was comfortable with the electric keyboard I selected. She showed us additional features and everyone was very nice. It was amazing that the company was willing to ship the keyboard to Louisiana from Idaho! Excellent service.

We are very happy with knowledge and attention of Salesperson Melody. Although she was traveling on business, she was readily responsive to our many questions. I had been interested in a Yamaha, but Melody demonstrated the superior qualities of the Roland, including its Bluetooth capabilities that make it equivalent to the top Yamaha digital. And then there's the incredible feel and sound! Delivery guys Blake and Jacob were very helpful retrieving the upright we used in trade, and they cheerfully moved a love seat upstairs for us. An overall fine experience at your Meridian store!

We recently needed to have our piano moved and are extremely pleased with the quality service we received. They agreed to pickup piano in an outlying area at 8:00 in the morning. Not only were they prompt in their arrival, they were quick, efficient and friendly in getting it loaded; delivery at the new location was handled in the same manner. We would definitely recommend Dunkley Music to anyone looking to have a piano moved. The two movers should definitely be commended for their concern for a job well done. Loved their attitudes, which made the whole experience enjoyable during the anxieties of moving.

I needed to rent a piano for a performance of opera star Cecilia Violetta Lopez. Dunkley Music was my first call. They provided a beautiful and high quality grand piano and donated a portion of the cost to the event charity. They took care of delivery both to and from the venue. All the people involved were courteous, helpful and generous with their time.

My actual purchases at Dunkley have been limited to music for myself and my piano students. I have always received thorough and patient assistance when needed. I also schedule piano tunings with Dunkley and recently used your services to have a piano moved. I appreciate your entire staff and have always been treated with courtesy. Their attention to detail and quality in the services I've received has been stellar! My sincere thanks go to Janet and Randy. Having been referred for the repair of a piano damaged during a cross-country move, staff at Dunkley resolved all issues in a professional, courteous and erudite manner. The problem was somewhat more complex than originally anticipated, an occurrence which neither fazed nor deterred their experts. All work was completed on-time although the piano, a seven-foot grand, required transport to their shop. I would trust these talented and friendly people with any service or repair issue for any instrument along the entire price spectrum. I recommend them to any readers of this commentary.

Highest quality instruments and large selection. I had a 100 year old piano Stienway baby grand totally refurbished and it looks and plays beautifully now. I have purchased two digital pianos as well. The service and customer care are superb and their advice and knowledge of musical instruments is thorough and professional . They are so easy to work with and stand behind all the musical instruments they sell.

We have has Dunkley Music move our piano and my mother-in-law's piano for years now. And now that my parents are moving to the area, we had Dunkley Music move my mother's baby grand. Chris & Jeff did a great job. We will definitely call Dunkley Music whenever we need a piano moved!

Dunkley is top drawer in piano service and tuning. I purchased a Kawai spinet from them in 1996, then sold it when I received my family's 1937 Steinway baby grand. Dunkley has cared for my pianos all these years, and has done an outstanding job. Paul Schiller rebuilt the Steinway in 2008, and it is now musically brand new. He also tuned my pianos for years and was excellent. Jerod Phelps is my current tuner - he is timely, friendly and the piano sounds beautiful when he leaves. I happily recommend Dunkley's Music for your piano service and care.

I had a very good experience with Jared from Dunkley. He arrived on time, which is important to me, and was very friendly and professional. Not only did he tune the piano beautifully but he also helped with loose legs on the piano and gave some good advice about the bench. All was done in about an hour and I would recommend him to someone else. Dunkley was very organized with paperwork, reminders of the appointment, cost and who the person would be. All very helpful. I had my piano tuned recently using Jared from Dunkley Music. He arrived right on time, which I find a rarity these days, and was friendly and got right to work. The piano sounds great and he also helped with loose piano legs and gave some advice about the bench. He was easy to have working in our home and I would recommend him to others and use him again myself.

Bill Bryant of The Ambrose School referred me to Dunkley Music to get a Clarinet repaired. I met with the staff who understood that I needed the repair accomplished quite soon so that our granddaughter could use the instrument in a performance. I dropped the instrument off at 6:00PM Tuesday evening and by 10:06 the next morning I received a call that the repair had been accomplished. When I went to pick it up I was told that the repair was on the house. No cost what-so-ever !!!!! It goes without saying that the Dunkley Music staff jumped through hoops to allow the repair to be accomplished so quickly. But then to refuse to be paid for the service goes beyond belief. I can't say enough Good about these people. I'm blown away.

Dunkley's was a wonderful facility at a recent concert for the piano teacher members of Piano Guild and Idaho Music Teachers Association. The new recital hall with its fine acoustics had a well-tuned Steinway piano for our performer, Steinway Artist Dr. Del Parkinson. Our luncheon following was set up by your personnel who were helpful from start to finish. We appreciated the generous seating = plenty of parking for everyone. Kudos to Mark Dunkley and staff for a 5 Star experience!

I have been a customer at Dunkley Music for as long as I can remember. No matter what I am looking for, instrument accessories, music, etc, they always have a huge selection at good prices. The service is exceptional- all of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and are always willing to help me find whatever I need! The new recital hall is greatly improved, with more seating and a nice camera set-up, all for a fabulous price. I would highly recommend Dunkley music to anyone looking for anything music related.

I have had the privilege of working with Dunkley Music both as a customer and as a volunteer event coordinator. I bought my baby grand at Dunkley last year, largely because of the customer service we received from Marion Sundwall. He and others we met at the store were knowledgable and professional. Marion worked with us in our price range and didn't push. I ended up with a beautiful Boston! As a volunteer entertainment coordinator with the Canyon County Festival of Trees, I worked through Mark Dunkley. He was gracious and willing to do all he could to facilitate getting a piano to the venue for entertainers. Peter was also easy to work with and prompt with returning calls and emails. I will patronize Dunkley Music for everything music, and I'll send anyone needing anything music to Dunkley. Thank you!

I have used Jared from Dunkley Music four times in the past three years to tune my Howard baby grand. It is a 40 year old piano with a sweet mellow tone. Jared is on time, often calls before he comes to make sure someone is home and beautifully tunes my piano. It is always a joy to play thanks to his expertise!

I want you to know that Tom Phelps was so helpful to me in the purchase of my piano. His knowledge and expertise was invaluable. I don't know if I would have bought the piano without his help. Jeff delivered my piano, along with another gentleman. He offered to set it up in a variety of positions. I ended up going with one of the positions he suggested and I am so glad I did. Dunkley provides a wonderful venue for recitals. The room is very reasonably priced and offers 2 Steinway grand pianos, a table with table cloth for receptions,, and chairs. Parking is plentiful and attached.. The staff is very helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend Dunkley's for your recital venue.

The Dunkley Music piano movers were great! Dunkley's sent three men to move our antique baby grand piano from our old house to our new home, up a staircase to the second level. It was a tight fit to get around the landing, but the movers were very slow and careful, and did an amazing job. Needless the say, the piano was very heavy but these strong guys lifted it all the way up the stairs without a bump or scratch. Great job! Also, all three movers were very friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend Dunkley Music for a professional job of piano moving.

We needed to get some light repairs done to my daughter's saxophone this weekend and were lucky enough to meet Walt in the service department. Not only was Walt eager to help us but he took the time to provide the background of our instrument and enlightened us on possible future issues to keep an eye on with our particular model. He also provided great information on proper maintenance. Walt quickly repaired a cork pad that was missing and gave our saxophone a quick look to make sure nothing else needed repair. Walt fixed our saxophone for no charge. We would have gladly paid for such excellent service. Dunkley has always been great to work with. We previously found our piano teacher through Dunkley and have been fortunate enough to enjoy recitals at your facility. Dunkley has also been where I took my guitar for repair and to purchase sheet music. Great place and great people there.

Dunkley Music is a well stocked store with a professional staff who have many years of experience in handling the needs of their customers. We have found the recital hall to work well for our music studio students. It has wonderful pianos, well lit, nice seating and access to restrooms and parking. It is an affordable option for the size of our studio. Randy does a great job of making sure that everything is in order. Phil Kassel, who works in the repair shop, is a colleague of mine in the Boise Philharmonic, and he was kind enough to do some repair work on my instrument. It is rare, in the age of the internet, to find a locally owned and operated, brick & mortar store that has such a wide breadth of offerings. I intentionally hold off on buying any supplies until I'm in Boise so I can support this business.

I was looking for a piano piece for my students, but only knew part of the name and guessed at the composer. The wonderful people at Dunkley Music searched with little information until they found just the piece I was looking for, ordered it and held it for me until I could pick it up! Michael, in the guitar section, Helped me by adjusting my fender guitar strings. First, he did an excellent job. My guitar has never played and sounded better. Secondly, because I live 80 miles from Boise, he completed the work the same day. Such service and care are rarely found.

I like Dunkley music for all my teaching needs. They have the best piano tuner - Paul Schiller - for my Steinway. They have staff that know how to order the music you want. They run workshops by Nationally-known presenters that give free music and are worth my time. They display both the Sonatina and Musicale Festival music for my students to go ponder what they'd like to present. I use the Recital Hall for my annual event. The students love to get to play on the "grandaddy Grand" Steinway. The staff is always friendly and cordial with my questions. Thank you for being there to meet my Studio needs!

As a piano teacher of over 30 students, I have gone to Dunkley Music since 1990 and found their customer service to be the best in Treasure Valley. I bought my Kawaii grand piano from them 20 years ago and have used it for thousands of lessons over the years. They have a huge selection of music books and other teaching materials in their store that helps me get what I need for my weekly lessons and music festivals throughout the year. If I ever need to order any music books over the phone, their sales staff has been very friendly, helpful, and reliable. I am able to get the books I need as soon as possible. I love doing business with a sales staff that cares about their customers!
