Doing business with Dunkley Music has been such an enjoyable experience. All the staff we have dealt with have been so professional, caring, and displayed an attitude of wanting to make sure every issue was met. The follow up tuning after the piano was moved was done by Paul Schiller. Mr. Schiller was so professional, tuned the piano to perfection, and accomplished this in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Dunkley Music if you are looking for quality, exceptional service and a large selection of pianos to choose from.

Great Job all the way around. Mark - thank you for being able to schedule us so quickly. And I was equally impressed with Archie and Herman. They showed up on time - worked well together as a team - communicated well with each other - were both careful with our instruments, and were polite and friendly with us. They went above and beyond trying to fit the organ through a door that was clearly too small and without complaining set it up in a different part of the house. And although our piano was "heavier than the average grand" - they did a phenomenal job in getting it moved. (They must have had an extra helping of Wheaties that morning)!! Two thumbs up to a great crew!!!

When we received a donated spinet piano from the family of one of our former students, we members of the music department at Lowell Scott Middle School were excited to have it delivered and tuned. Dunkley Music made the arrangements for a reasonable fee. Mr. Smith was very clear and consistent with his communication with us, and the movers were punctual and efficient. I watched with appreciation while the two gentleman moved the instrument quickly and carefully through an occupied classoom, a room with built-in seating tiers, no less. Once in the assigned practice room, the movers lifted the piano with a simultaneous gesture that sent the dolly rolling gently out of the way, obviously a practiced procedure. Mr. Schiller was very professional and effective with his tuning.

Fantastic meeting of music teachers in January. Spectacular concert in February in Steinway series. Extra special meeting with new friends in recital hall! Sharing pictures of amazing cello artwork. Purchased several fiddle and Bluegrass books.

Marion and Teri do a tremendous service for senior citizens who want to do something they've always wanted to do but didn't have the time. They are very gracious and I really enjoy going to the 2:00 Tuesday keyboard class. Dunkley Music has been in Boise for as long as I can remember and I feel very comfortable going there. It is an icon in downtown Boise and I'm so glad to be a small part of it. I tell everyone I know about the pressure free lessons for everyone of all ages! You never know who might be listening! Dunkley Music is just a wonderful music store. I've been a customer there since moving here when I was just a kid - I've used Dunkley Music through work with Blue Thunder and Boise FUMC, and on a personal basis for those general music needs. What makes Dunkley Music so wonderful, though, are the people who work there. They are all so friendly and helpful, and work toward the good of the community as a whole. Thank you Dunkley Music!

Dunkley Music is a complete music store. They are top-notch in every category (pianos, instruments, sheet music, and teaching studios). The beautiful recital hall has gorgeous Steinways. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, and friendly. We are fortunate to have Dunkley Music in Boise!

Dunkley Music has the most amazing customer service approach I have had the pleasure of This incredible store went so many extra miles for me I do not know where to begin with my praise. When the piano I had purchased for my home was too large, Mona said " No problem....we will find you another one which fits." When it was time for delivery and I explained about moving the pain up stairs and around a corner, Mr. Dunkley himself came out to see the layout so Dunkley could make the delivery. When I asked for the store to hold the piano while we built, thinking 6 months at the longest, Mona told me not to worry. When 6 months turned into a year and I knew I had better take the piano off the store's hands,even though I knew once it was delivered we would eventually move it to its permanent spot within our home, Mona told me she would rather have me wait and have it delivered when the permanent spot in our home was ready for the piano. Mona worked so hard from the very beginning to get me the piano which would meet my needs, produce the sound I wanted and still fit into our home. She greets you with a smile and never seems like anything I ask is too much. What an exceptionally enjoyable experience this has been. Dunkley Music is amazing and so is Mona. If every store had the customer service which Mona and Dunkley Music provide, there would never be an unhappy customer anywhere again. This store's customer service is as good as it gets. As a piano teacher, I have been working with Dunkley Music for over 15 years. I have found them to be consistently pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have a master’s degree in piano performance, and have found their staff to be very knowledgeable; they are musicians, too! Their employees work very hard to help you find exactly what you need, and I’ve never felt pressured to purchase something more than I actually wanted. I’m incredibly particular when it comes to piano tuning, and have found that both of their technicians are more than capable, they are excellent. Their piano movers are polite and competent. I purchased a grand piano at Dunkley’s, and it was a very pleasant experience. Mona Morrison (as well as their other sales staff) will listen to what you want and will “matchmake” the perfect piano for you, without trying to sell you “just a little more”. If Mona recommends a different piano, you really should listen, because she works hard to find the best piano for your needs and wishes. I am continually purchasing print music for my students and myself. Dunkley Music has the best selection, as well as competent staff to find exactly what you want, whether they have it in stock, order it in, or print it off from the internet. There are music stores located closer to my home, but I go the “extra miles” because Dunkley music staff and selection are miles ahead of the competition. They will go the “extra mile” for you!

Our need for a piano tuner presented itself late in the morning on a show day at Taco Bell Arena…We reached out to Dunkley following the lead of the production team at the Arena and could not have been happier with the technician they sent to tune the piano…They were on-time and very flexible…They were there for us in a pinch….
