The staff was warm and comforting. I came in for an emergency extraction. Even though it could have been a harrowing experience they made it as good of an experience as could be. I am very grateful for their bedside manner and technical explanation of my situation. I would recommend Dr Pawluk to anyone needing oral surgery. Even to myself!

I was recommended to Dr Pawluk after my primary dentist identified a cracked molar with cured nerve needed immediate root canal. The staff at Endodontic associates took me in immediately, Dr Pawluk identified the crack was to large to perform root canal and recommended having tooth removed , the procedure was painless ( Thank you ) ,DR and staff made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. My visit to Endodontic Associates of Illinois was fantastic. I thought I would be needing a root canal. Dr. Pawluk gently and patiently tested my tooth only to find that I did not need the procedure. I appreciate that he didn't push something that I didn't need. I felt terrible that I had taken up an hour spot but they were so nice about it. I will absolutely go back to them if/when I need further dental work. The entire office was great.

An Endodontist specializes in treating the pulp and roots of a tooth. The Endodontist has studied for an additional 2 or 3 years past the 4 yrs of dental school. The Endodontist is a highly trained specialist using the latest techniques in saving teeth. I became acquainted with Dr. John Pawluk a few years ago when the gum of #14 tooth, which had underwent a root canal and crown more than two decades earlier, became infected. My dentist referred me to Dr. Pawluk. He treated the infection. Over the next few years the gum became infected again, and Dr. Pawluk performed two more surgeries. Yet another infection occurred, and Dr. Pawluk said that he could do no more for that tooth. He recommended extracting it. He offered two solutions to replace the tooth, a fixed bridge, or an implant. The two contiguous teeth at #14 already have crowns, so a fixed bridge would have been a very complicated procedure. I elected to have an implant. As he had done with the surgeries, he took time to patiently and adequately explain what getting an implant involves , making sure I understood everything. He answered all of my questions. It is one thing to recite a litany, Dr. Pawluk also exhibited concern and sensitivity. The implant procedure requires several steps. I was able to experience these with confidence. The staff is equally as friendly and caring. Dr. Pawluk has equipped his offices with the latest dental equipment, and keeps himself informed of the latest procedures. He performs with confidence and expertise. After experiencing a severe toothache overnight recently, I saw my dentist the next morning. He suspected I needed a root canal and called Dr. Pawluk’s office to see if I could be seen right away. Fortunately the answer was yes. After a thorough exam and taking xrays, Dr. Pawluk said I needed an immediate root canal on one tooth, and yet another tooth had a bad infection but did not need a root canal. An antibiotic would be prescribed for it. Dr. Pawluk worked me in, then and there, unexpectedly during his already busy day. The first part of the root canal was done with only minor discomfort - no pain! I began taking the antibiotic for the second tooth. I had a flight scheduled at the end of that very week. I was quite concerned about flying and possible pain. Dr. Pawluk knew about my upcoming flight and also about my concern. He kept in close contact with me regarding my progress offering advice along the way. He called me the day before my flight offering to meet me in his office if I needed to do that. He asked me to text him the next day after my long flight just so he would know how I did. Fortunately, I had no issues whatsoever on the flight; I experienced no discomfort. I healed quickly and finished my root canal treatment after I returned. I was so impressed with Dr. Pawluk and how he took care of my issues. And also, I was very impressed with his compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Pawluk!

Although extremely nervous about having another root canal, every possible thing was done by everyone in that office to ensure I understood everything, that my pain level was zero and that I was comfortable. I felt cared for/about, and Dr. Pawluk was confident in his skills which elevated my trust. I highly recommend him for anyone needing endodontic attention.

Dr. Pawluk was very professional and gentle. I had no pain during the procedure. Afterwards, I had minimal discomfort. It was a great experience overall!

You all were great. My blood pressure was very high the first time I came in for my root canal. I couldn't get it done that day and had to come back. You all were very accommodating and nice to me, and calming as well. The only thing I would say is when the Dr. came in and his assistant told him what my BP was, he made a "Whoah" comment, which honestly, wasn't the best thing to comment, when I was already a nervous wreck about getting the root canal done. But he was great, and his assistant was also, when I came back a second time to get the root canal completed. I have had no issues since the root canal was done and I go tomorrow to get my temporary crown! I would highly recommend Endodontics Associates of Illinois.

From the time I called for my first appointment all the way to the procedure everyone was very nice and made me feel at ease. Procedure went well and they made me feel really comfortable.

Dr.John Pawluk is very personable,professional and does exellent dental work.The Office Staff is so nice and friendly and answer all my question. I feel very confident on all work done,i would not consider another dentist.

I grew up thinking root canals were supposed to be similar to Medieval torture, but Dr. Pawluk and his staff are so good that I drive all the way down from Lake County. Easily the best dental office I have been to as an adult.

It was quick, relatively painless. I was told exactly what was going to happen, and was treated with the utmost care and respect. I'd recommend anyone coming to this office.

Friendly, professional, quick and painless

Root canal was quick and painless. Kept up with ibuprofen as directed and had no pain afterwards, as well.

My daughter Annalise (12 y/o) was very nervous about her having a root canal. Dr. Pawluk was very reassuring and put both of us at ease. The procedure was relatively quick the team gave me thorough after care instructions.

I had been putting off having my tooth looked at for quite sometime, because I dreaded having to have a root canal. I was extremely nervous about the procedure and going to a new endodontist. Three days ago, I finally took the step to have my tooth taken care of. Dr. Pawluk made me feel comfortable and the procedure went quickly. My root canal was a success and without pain.
