My service was easy to schedule and the technician was great! He was very punctual and extremely knowledgable. He was able to diagnose and fix my problem accurately and quickly. He answered all my questions about my dryer and the DIY install my husband had done. He gave great advice on how to avoid problems in the future and taught me a bit about the features and workings of my machine. I recommend this company 100%

Mike was courteous, arrived when he said he would, and was thorough in his assessment of the appliances I needed repaired. I will use him again for diagnostics if the need arises for us and would absolutely consider him for repair work in the future.

I received a recommendation on Nextdoor for Green Machine Appliance Repair. Mike came to look at our broken fridge and was quick in diagnosing the problem. He had the part with him and fixed it quickly. He is honest, competent, and knowledgeable and explained things to me. He also gave some great ideas for easy things we can do to help prevent leaks going undetected. The price for the part/labor was quite reasonable. I am very impressed with this business and will definitely use them again, if needed.

Excellent service. Mike @ Green Machine Appliance was great -- he came on time, instantly diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator (leaks in the freezer component) and had the repair done within an hour. He also took the time to explain to us what the problem was, how we can prevent similar problems in the future, and all in a very friendly and approachable way. We would call him again without hesitation and will recommend him to anyone who asks. Also worth noting is that Green Machine came highly recommended to us for all these same reasons. We found out about him from the Ballard community building Facebook page, with several enthusiastic recommendations from people in the neighborhood.

Very efficient & quick service

Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure to work with. He made it very easy for me to understand the problem with our oven and he simple solution/options. He even went out of his way to take a peek at another appliance for me. I would certainly recommend Green Machine.

We had a sudden washing machine failure. Mike was able to come out quickly, diagnose & fix the middle-aged machine in a couple of hours, including locating the part needed. He explained everything clearly, & the cost was very reasonable. He even gave us some advice about what appliances to choose for a new home. We can recommend him without reservation.

This was an excellent experience, and I would recommend Mike (the owner and sole repairman) without reservation - competent, pleasant, no nonsense, and reasonably priced. I found Green Machine online; it was rated as third best of a number of highly-rated businesses, but the reviews there identified it as probably the best one for me (that he is very capable, and that he repairs a variety of large appliances). I had a 12-year-old dryer and a 20-year-old dishwasher, both KitchenAid. Each had a problem with a switch, making the dryer inoperative, while the dishwasher repair was not essential but I tagged it on, since I was having a versatile repair person coming out in any case. Mike was able to identify the necessary fix for the dryer almost immediately. He went out to his vehicle and brought in and installed a new switch - the whole thing took under 30 minutes. The dishwasher took a while longer (turned out the switch mechanism was fine, but there was not enough electrical power going from the motor to the switch to activate release of the cover for the powder dispenser). Fixing this would have necessitated a new motor for the dishwasher, probably not cost-effective, but in any case Mike found that a replacement for the old motor is not to be had. It took a while to sort this out, but I paid only the minimum charge that was quoted when I booked the service. I was impressed that Mike was so careful and thorough in identifying the needed fix for each appliance. He clearly did the best that was possible in each case, and even though we did not get the dishwasher fixed I was wholly satisfied with his service. And his answering service was similarly competent in getting the necessary information about my needs and setting a convenient time for the appointment - a pleasure dealing with that as well.

Professional and friendly

Mike is great—he's very nice, and he clearly cares about quality and fixing old things instead of just getting new ones. He got our old workhorse washing machine back up and running several times, and then was gentle when he told us it was now beyond repair. He gives you enough information to understand what's happening without getting too far into the washer-weeds. He exudes trustworthiness, and we will buy our new washer based on his recommendation (for Speed Queen). Five stars, for sure! Thanks, Mike!
