Our daughter had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sal and his team. She was in need of some therapies to help her with her sleep apnea, TMJ and fibromyalgia pain. They took the time to explain what options were best and available to her. They made the appointments work to fit her schedule and explained the insurance process very clearly. We are so grateful to have come across Dr. Sal and would highly recommend him.

Let me start by saying I only regret that I couldn’t give Dr. Sal more than five stars. He deserves at least twice that many because he’s at least twice as good as any of the other dentists I’ve been to over the years. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to some good dentists. But Dr. Sal, I have to say, is in a class by himself. At the time I was introduced to Dr. Sal, I needed extensive work on my top and bottom teeth due to severe enamel loss. It was looking like I’d need to have all my teeth, top and bottom, capped. I was not looking forward to having my teeth ground down and replaced with caps, which it turns out is what was required. Believe me, going to the dentist and having almost all my teeth drilled isn’t something I was looking forward to. But then to my surprise, Dr. Sal somehow made the experience, well, enjoyable. I know, who enjoys having their teeth drilled? Dr. Sal and his awesome team somehow make it an enjoyable experience. They’re all so friendly, engaging, and accommodating. I can honestly say I now look forward to going to the dentist and I have fun when I do. I don’t want to overstate my case, but Dr. Sal and his team really are that good. To say that Dr. Sal is exceptionally good at what he does is an understatement. And it’s not just Dr. Sal. His entire team are an amazing group of people. And on top of how good they are at what they do, they are the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Easily the best experience I ever had going to the dentist. I never thought I’d find myself looking forward to my dentist appointments, but that’s actually the case since I started seeing Dr. Sal. Oh, and he has such a great personality and sense of humor, it’s hard not to feel relaxed around him. Do yourself a favor: the next time you need dental work, run, don’t walk, to Dr. Sal’s office.

I am 81 years old so have had a number of dentists. In spite of that I do not feel well qualified to judge them in the terms that probably matter most: their professional competence. Having said that, Dr. Alptekin strikes me as highly skilled, thoughtful, kind, open to questions and forthcoming with information. I like him as a person. His staff is excellent and very friendly. His hygienists have also seemed highly skilled to me. My wife, a more sensitive person than myself, and much faster to criticize members of the medical profession, also likes him and says, correctly I think, that he really seems to like being a dentist. A concrete bit of evidence in this direction is his evident enthusiasm for up-to-date technology. I think he has had a new piece of dental technology every time I have gone into his office, and seems delighted to make use of it, when appropriate. What strikes me as most significant about this though is not the technology itself but the youthful exuberance with which he embraces it, and his devotion to his profession and new developments within it.

Everyone that works there is amazing and so helpful! They take care of you from the second you walk in and make it as smooth and quick as possible. They always make sure to work with you and give you the best care they can offer.

I had my teethe cleaned yesterday and as usual everyone in the office was friendly, efficient and timely. The dental hygienist, while doing the job painlessly, made it feel more like a social visit than a dental procedure. I have been seeing Dr. Alptekin for a number years now and have always appreciated his care and expertise. He is most conscientious about keeping up with the latest technology and techniques.

I am new to metro west dental care and can say I was very happy with my first experience! Very nice people and reasonable. It makes going to the dentist less unpleasant to think about.

The care at this Dentist is really great, the people are friendly and caring. If you have an emergency they are really there for you.

I came to Dr. Selim (Sal) after finding his practice originally on Zocdoc and seeing the reviews. I was a timid patient with a 10+ year gap in seeing a dentist at all, between college, moving around, lack of insurance, and a very bad set of experiences with my childhood dentist. Not only did Dr. Sal and his whole staff make me feel welcome and safe, I had the best care from the moment I walked in for my consult to the procedure I had done a week later. There was no waiting months for appointments. I had a procedure scheduled right away for pain I was having, and I was comfortable every step of the way. They even let my boyfriend sit in the room with me while I had my surgery. I have very low confidence and have hated my smile in the past, but one cleaning and Dr. Sal and his team took years off my teeth AND whitened them tremendously after removing cement my old dentist had left behind years ago. I can't thank them all enough for my newfound confidence. They are worth every penny and will make YOU feel worth it no matter what.

Each visit to Dr. Sal convinces me that I made a great decision in selecting this practice for all my dental health. Each person is knowledgeable, professional and gracious. Visits are always a pleasure and always efficient with my time and always interested in learning about my concerns. New techniques to alleviate pain and improve my experience are always discussed and available. Great music, friendly staff and satisfaction guaranteed. My experience with Metrowest Dental Care was anything but horrifying. I'm happy to say that I felt very comfortable and safe there. Before getting my wisdom teeth taken out, I had a lot of anxiety just because it was my first surgery. Thankfully Dr. Alptekin made me feel comfortable though out the whole procedure. I'm happy I found a dentist I can trust.

I can not begin to express how incredibly successful my visits to Metrowest Dental Care were. Briefly: I had an infected crowned molar, that needed a root canal. Not only was I in discomfort but I also had to fight the irrational fear of going through a root canal, which in the past I had been unsuccessful. I am so grateful to Dr. Alptekin and his staff at Metrowest Dental Care! I had researched locally which Doctors did root canals (not many!) and found Metrowest Dental Care in Ashland. I called, and was able to speak with Dr. Alptekin. I was seen within a few hours. Not only was the office charming (which helped), the staff was wonderfully caring. Dr. Alptekin saw me, and was able to alleviate the discomfort, and then schedule my root canal, once we were sure the infection was gone. I can only say, that he was extremely attuned to my thought process, and what I conveyed as my concerns and fear. He addressed it all! And along with his staff, - and in particular Debbie who assisted him in treating me. The time and patience he bestowed upon me for my physical, emotional, and intellectual comfort was unexpected and so comforting. I went in stating I would need anesthesia (be put out completely, not even partially) and in the end, did not require that all. That was a feat/miracle in my mind. It is amazing how brave many of us are in life, and yet may have a particular fear....only to find out - that in the right hands all is manageable and will work out! Sounds funny, but it was not less than an eye opening experience that allowed me to get over my fear. And for that, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you always to Dr. Alptekin, Debbie, Isha, and staff. I am not an active member of Yelp, and I my Google account is my back up, and hence not used often. So I have sent this directly to Metrowest Dental Care.

I am very happy with the care both my husband and I receive from Dr. Alptekin and his whole staff. Dr. Alptekin is competent and gentle and goes out of his way to make us feel relaxed while being treated. I especially grateful by his patience with my husband who has Aphasia. Everybody in the practice is very attentive. The office is very nice and welcoming. I certainly recommend him!
