Gently, quickly, and efficiently, Dr. Clark went to work carefully and gently administering local anesthetic about the two root tips to be removed. The transition from administering anesthetic to removing the bony bits from my mandible was practically indistinguishable and the job was done. A mouthful of gauze, some careful and gentle instructions, an instruction sheet, extra gauze, and a prescription for a few pain meds, and I was out the door and on my way home. Not only was the experience and my treatment as I thought that it should be, it was better in every way. It was as if I'd been Dr. Clarke's patient for all of my sixty plus years of dental care, and that every year had been a good and pleasant one. In addition to what a fine, excellent, professional Dr. Clarke is, his staff reflects his quality, his facility reflects his quality, it is apparently state of the art and warm and comfortable at the same time. A friend telephoned me from Denver in the early evening and I took out the wads of gauze (that I'd replaced once) to talk with her and to praise the excellent, superb care I'd received. Shortly after that call, the phone rang again and it was Dr. Clarke, calling to check on how I was doing. Since I was in such good shape, there was nothing problematic to report and Dr. Clarke answered my questions about eating something. The follow-up call exemplified the kind of care, the excellence of care, that I'd not encountered in decades. It was very, very uplifting and reassuring to find it with Dr. Clarke. I could not give more praise and gratitude for his excellence and compassionate care. Thank you, Dr. Clarke and staff.

Dr. Clarke made me feel very comfortable, he explained everything, and he made himself available after hours if I had any issues or concerns. His staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Getting two teeth pulled was a bit frightening for me but as soon as I met Dr. Clarke I was immediately at ease. Thank you for making the experience easy and smooth as possible. Mahalo Dr. Clarke and staff for such a quick and easy wiisdom tooth extraction! Everyone was so helpful and friendly and really calmed my nerves about the whole procedure. The extraction procedure itself was painless and a lot quicker than I had anticipated. The extraction site healed quickly and gave me no problems following the extraction. I really appreciated that Dr. Clarke took the time to patiently review the procedure and all the different options I needed to consider. It really helped to ease my anxiety about the procedure. My experience with all four of my wisdoms was much better than I thought. I honestly thought I was going to be in more pain but it wasn't that bad. It was only the first two days where I was in the most pain. Other than that, Doctor Clark and the staff were friendly. The only thing was that you guys didn't follow up about my wisdoms on that day of the surgery. In all, I would definitely recommend Maui Dental Surgery Group to a friend who needs to take their wisdom teeth out.

Overall, I had a great experience at Maui Dental Surgery Group. The surgery or "tooth extraction" was nothing like I expected. It was quick and painless with a little crackling. The most sore part was when he numbed me up with the local anesthetic in the upper roof of your mouth. The staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend you folks to people needing dental surgery. Thank you guys for making it a great time at the "dentist".

I felt very attended to by Dr. Clarke. All questions were answered or anticipated and I felt comfortable calling if a problem arose. At first I was really nervous. Just sitting in the chair and thinking about the fact that someone will be pulling out my teeth was a scary feeling. Then I met Dr.Clarke and his nurse and they kept me calm and comfortable. Their was a few times where I felt like the numbing was going to ware off and all I could think about was "oh my goodness, I'm going to feel everything!!!!" But Dr made sure everything went well!! I was excited that it was done but not looking forward to the recovery. As of now, I'm doing just fine. I mean the feeling of my mouth being swollen on one side is weird but I'm not in pain at all, and I didn't even take any type of pain medication. That's the best part, I thought I would be popping pain relievers all day every day, but I'm doing just great without them. I would recommend Dr. Clarke to any friends or family who are having to do any type of dental work! He's awesome!!! Thanks to Dr. Clarke and his wonderful staff for keeping me comfortable and getting rid of what I feel, is the worst thing you have to do in life. Thank goodness it's, like doc said, "a once in a lifetime deal!!"

My experience as a new patient there was more then what I expected. I needed my wisdom tooth to be extracted because I was is so much pain. I called and a lovely girl name Justice helped me through the app process and new patient forms. It was quick and efficient. she made me feel like I was a regular. The dental assistant name Lu was very very awesome. She was friendly and was very comforting when it comes to answering questions. She was one of some who made me feel welcomed, such great service. Dr Clarke was by far one of the best Dr's I've ever had. He was very thorough with explaining what he was going to do, he gave me options and made me feel good. he was quick and easy, While I was under the knife he was comforting with what he was doing, he got done really quick and it was efficient. By far or not the best experience I've had. I am so thankful that I was referred to this office. 100% Best Customer Service.

I rarely give five stars for anything but my experience with Doctor Clarke and his staff is worth a five star rating. Every step was explained and the staff made me feel as if I was at home. The fear of two tooth extractions quickly left me thanks to the staff and doctor. The procedure was so well done that I did not even realize that the second tooth was already finished. I had not pain or swelling after the removal of the teeth. I highly recommend this surgeon. If necessary I will certainly return to his office.

I really felt at ease with Dr Clarke. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure and was very open to answering any questions I had. I also appreciated that he took his time and didn't seem to be rushing to finish my procedure in order to move on to the next patient. I was also surprised that he gives all his patients his personal cell number to call after the procedure in case you have any problems after hours. I would definitely go to Dr. Clarke again if necessary!

Very pleasant experience, numbing of the area around my tooth was efficient, and for the duration of the surgery I could not feel my tooth being extracted. Will definitely return for the extraction of my other wisdom teeth.

Dr. Clark has performed oral surgery on/for me in the past as well. As always, his "bedside manner" is the best any of us could wish for and his willingness, no, his desire to invest his time and effort to reassure and inform his patients is unique to his practice. Believe me when I tell you that seeing Dr. Clark for dental work/surgery is something to look forward to. He's that good! He's also a truly good man.

I had lost all faith in finding a quality dentist that I could trust. Then I found Dr. Clarke. I needed 2 wisdom teeth extracted. Not only is his pricing better then any other quote I received, he performed the best also. He was informative and I never felt rushed. He is soft spoken and extremely gentle, but gets the job done quickly & correctly. I thought we were just getting started, when we were finished. He called to check on me later that evening, which was such a comfort to know he cares how his work is done. My recovery time was short and easy. And when I went to pay, my procedure ended up being $200 cheaper! I really don't like getting dental work done at all, but he made it a painless process. I am so grateful and will be a customer as long as he's in practice.

After years of complicated dental & oral surgical care, Dr. Clarke took the necessary time to design an expert plan to begin reconstructive surgery for my challenging case. I had a non-stop 3 hour surgical procedure in the office. He took all the time to address my concerns and reassured me of what I might expect from such a lengthy procedure. I recently had need for an oral surgeon and "demanded" that my family dentist send me to Dr. Clarke for a second time in two years. Knowing now what I learned on my last trip to Dr. Clarke's office there was no apprehension of "impending doom" because I knew the visit would be painless and compassionate. My surprise this trip was the substantial savings when the extractions were less complicated therefore my charges were reduced from an estimate I was already ok with. They all made sure to ask me if I needed anything and if I were ok so many times that I couldn't count and when your in pain and someone is taking that much interest in you it makes you feel better and appreciated. Dr. Clarke does very good work and treats you how he wants to be treated. He is very caring and does a very good job to make the process as painless as possible. I was expecting to get this enormous bill due to everyone I know say how expensive an oral surgeon was but when I was told the cost I couldn't believe how affordable it was. Dr. Clarke and his entire staff have all gone above and beyond to make sure that my time with them was as comfortable as possible. I was referred to Dr. Clarke by my own dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction. I was nervous about the procedure. I found the staff pleasant and knowledgeable. I was very reassured by Dr. Clarke, and the extraction was PAINLESS. I did not have to take any pain pills afterward. The quality was excellent, and the price was reasonable (I do not have dental insurance). I am very glad Dr. Clarke is on Maui, and highly recommend him.

I was pleased and impressed that I was able to get an emergency appointment with Dr Clarke the day before he was to leave for a conference on another island. His office had several people waiting, and I was prepared to wait several hours, but the wait time was very short. Dr Clarke gave me great advice on my tooth's condition, and then performed a tough extraction of an infected molar expertly and as smoothly as I could expect. He followed up the next day with a call to make sure I was OK. I am very pleased with my experience with Dr Clarke and his staff.

Dr. Clarke takes the time to explain the x-ray from the state of the art x-ray machine and the processes of the procedure to you. He has very good chair side manners and is very thorough and compassionate as not to cause unnecessary pain. His assistant is very gentle and they work as a team extremely well. I thought that I was cared for like a family member. The room where the procedure was done was very clean and organized. They were very well prepared and very skilled at the work they did on me. The entire staff makes you feel comfortable before, during and after. I give them the highest score possible.

I never thought that oral surgery could become an overall positive experience before finding Dr. Clarke and his wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in the door, the energy was friendly, professional and caring. The wait time was minimal and I felt as if I was in good hands throughout the entire procedure. I even received a phone call from him the evening of the extraction just to check on me, which is almost unheard of in todays medical society.
