Excellent training

(I had left this review before, had to make a few grammatical and word changes, my apologies.) Micheal James is not your ordinary driving instructor. I had the pleasure of becoming well acquainted with Micheal and learning about all of the people he’s met and written about in the motocross world. Micheal himself also drove dirt bikes and was an armature racer throughout his life. This background provides him with knowledge very few instructors could possibly obtain, for he has an understanding of not only the road, but of the physics and the direct consequences of subtle actions only a professional could notice. Something that really took me by surprise on the first day of meeting Micheal is how much he truly cared and his genuine passion for teaching people how to drive. At one point he showed me sketches and outlines of the road and I kid you not, took out model cars and visually demonstrated maneuvers in a way I could easily process and understand. Teaching people to drive isn’t just another job for Micheal James, it’s what he truly loves to do and he showed it in ways I don’t think anybody else can. Micheal’s outgoing and friendly personality removed all of the anxiety and worry that comes with learning to drive. He gave me the confidence of know that if I mess up, he wasn’t there to critique, or judge me, but to help me understand why what I was doing was wrong and how to improve my control on the road. He has incredible patience and is a very good man. Not only will he be your driving instructor, but if you get to know him he can also be your friend and your biggest supporter. Anybody with the blessing of meeting Micheal will know of the amazing experience I talk about today. I know he is and will always be the best driving instructor anybody can have.

I Thought Joseph was Fantastic!! The Course had a wide range of videos to keep you interested and Joseph did a Great Presentation,,,i also the fact he taught and let us just to listen,,,Awesome 5 Stars Recommend this class to anyone that needs this to get their license whether they are young or just getting it back...

High quality training; instructor provided instruction to both pass the road test and drive in real-world scenarios. Instructor was on time. Service is convenient.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be it was just sitting down discussing key factors about road safety and I enjoyed the teacher

Resourceful and very helpful

I have two driving lessons so far and they have all been great. I connected so well with Diego that I forgot that I was beibg instructed. Morio was soooooooo great a teacher. He encouraged me through out and gave alot of feedback and guidance. I did so many practice on the Stop sign and turning right or left. I look forward to working with them for the next sessions.

I highly recommend New York Auto School. I took several classes with different instructors who were professional and prepared. I had my Learners Permit for a long time, it was expiring soon. I choose to take the training for the road test with New York Auto School to finally get my Official Driver License. I am very happy that I got to pass the test! New York Auto School provides convenient packages of classes. I took the 5 hours lesson with them, very convenient over Zoom. Then I took a package of classes the included the appointment for the road test. I used the school's vehicles. I thank and recommend instructor Joe DeFrancesco. His instructions and training made me finally succeed. He explains in an easy and approachable way the exercises, and he supports the learners psychologically as well. Overall all the instructors were great! If you are looking for an excellent driving school, do not hesitate to go to New York Auto School. I live in the metropolitan area of New York City but I preferred to travel to White Plains. I don't regret this! I am very happy that thanks to this wonderful school I got to pass my road test, and overall they help me to become a safer and responsible driver.
