I have been using your services for about 5 years now. The staff is always very friendly,the dental work is top notch, and you seem to be using the latest equipment. Nobody enjoys "going to the Dentist" however you make it a much less stressful experience. Keep up the good work.

I think Dr. Ramirez's office is top notch. I'm very happy with the dental work I've received. Stella is an excellent dental hygienist. It's a very pleasant dental experience, comfortable, gentle care.

This is by far the best adult dental practice I have ever been to. Not only did Dr. Ramirez correctly diagnose my orthodontic needs and refer appropriately, but the staff of dental hygienists are first rate. All three cleanings I've received have been wonderful. The latest one I received the other week was the best yet, with the hygienist taking the time to thoroughly go over my current state of dental health and offering suggestions on how I could make some minor improvements in brushing. She was even wonderful with my five year old who had to accompany me to the visit. I highly recommend this dental practice, it is truly top-notch.

The dental hygienists (and office staff, for that matter) at Drs. Ramirez and Dassenko's office have gone above and beyond my expectations. They have been a supportive team in helping overcome gum health issues with frequent periodontal treatments and clear coaching on home-care. I am happy to say that with their assistance my dental health has vastly improved. The dental hygienists at SLO Coast Dentist are all very informed on dental health issues and treatments; they have educated me on the how and why of my in-office and home-care treatments (which is important for my buy-in as a patient to be diligent about staying on top of my care). They are thorough with care, both in giving me a full hour of periodontal therapy for each session and in asking after other non-dental health concerns, family, work, etc. They exude a warm personality that encourages me to come in to the office, instead of dreading my appointment (and the cost of treatments) like I have with past dentists. The office staff is extremely organized and helpful about providing reminders for appointments via a automated text messaging reminder system and call if you are running behind for your appointment. They have been more than willing to help in rescheduling appointments when other conflicting commitments arose as well as to explain billing and insurance coverage questions, among other items. While I am extremely glad to have chosen SLO Coast Dentist for all the reasons stated, I would say the only drawbacks are how infrequently/briefly I actually have seen the dentists compared to past dental offices I have been with. The other minor drawback has been that the SLO Coast Dentist office is out-of-network for my work insurance. I plan to stay with SLO Coast Dentist as long as I live in SLO and I would highly recommend them to others, particularly if you are seeking a team of dedicated professionals that will not only help you to improve your dental/gum health but will care for you like part of their family.

An old crown fell off while traveling in SLO. Dr. Ramirez accommodated me short notice on a Friday, very kind of her. I was hoping for a temporary fix until I had a chance to see my dentist, but instead Dr Ramirez took the time and did an excellent permanent reciment of the crown after an x-ray showed no other damage. She also ensured the bite was balanced but also done in such a way to avoid extra stress on the crown to avoid a repeat of it detaching again. Super impressed by the attention she paid to someone unlikely to ever be a repeat patient.

The staff is vary professional. Willing to work with me on flexible scheduling.

I’ve been going to Dr. Dassenko for over 20 years. Both she and her staff have consistently provided extremely high quality state of the art care in a comfortable and friendly setting. When my children graduated from their pediatric dentist they started going to Dr. Dassenko as well. I recently met Dr. Ramirez and was very impressed with her attention to detail and beside manner. I highly recommend their dental office!

Dr Ramirez takes good care with you as a patient and very calmly describes the procedures she is doing. This puts you at ease and allows you to fully relax. And she does it in a very soft, soothing voice so you feel very well taken care of.

It is important to try to stay healthy. And that includes your teeth and gums. I'm so glad for all your help. And such a pleasant office. Than you all.

The entire staff is pleasant competent , accommodating. Best place for injections if needed. They practice preventative care.

My first visit with Dr. Dassenko was great! I didn’t wait long at all, she had fabulous bedside manner, and the staff was very friendly. I had my second visit today for my cleaning. I was in and out in an hour and they did a very thorough job. I am new to the area and relied on referrals and online reviews for choosing this office. I’m so glad I found a great office I feel comfortable with. I scheduled my husband for a visit while I was there also.

I have been coming here for about a year now and I have always left very pleased with the job done. I knew going in each time that it would not hurt and I would be comfortable. I will be going here until I leave SLO undoubtedly.

I can honestly say that my experience was beyond excellent. Melanie was great with the xrays and Pam was great with the cutting blade as well as every other tool that she and Melanie used. I was very favorably impressed with the equipment and how it was employed to identify the problems and how it was employed to create the "tooth". As I told Pam, she is light years more competent than Dandy Randy Lonsbrough, my previous dentist-failure. The ladies at the front desk, Judy and Jamie were very helpful and Britany did an excellent job cleaning my teeth (crowns). The whole experience was beyond excellent and more than perfect. I also enjoyed the ipod, especially the song entitled, "Oh Danny Boy" (Londonderry Air) by Eva Cassidy. That was my grandmother's, from Ireland, favorite song. How did your staff know that I would appreciate hearing Eva Cassidy's beautiful version? They must have done great research on my genetic history! The visit was so outstanding that I intend to break several teeth so that I can repeat those excellent experiences. Honest! Francis Connor

Dr Ramirez and staff are awesome! They put you at ease and really care about your dental health. Through showing me my gum issues, I am now a flossing patient which has helped tremendously! I highly recommend them!

I had a good experience at my apartments. I would recommend this office. The attitude of the employees is great.

I appreciate the excellent care I always receive at this dental office. All personnel are warm and friendly. I experience no discomfort when getting my teeth cleaned. I can also count on the hygienist I see and either dentist to educate me on how I can best take care of my dental health.

My dental care in this office dates back to sometime in the nineteen seventies. I was first Dr. Dassenko's patient before she had an associate and over the years I have benefited from several of the hygienists' staff. I am now in my nineties and have always been courteously accommodated by everyone in the office. I am currently Dr. Ramirez patient and feel very well cared for despite increasing problems related to diabetes. Michelle has become my favorite hygienist. The receptionists have helped me with dental insurance when I carried such a policy as well as taking care of prescriptions, rescheduling and payments. The office has alwsys been spotlessly clean and equipped with impressive new machines to simplify crown construction. Dr. Ramirez has strong, yet gentle healing hands and I highly recommend the comprehensive dental services if Drs, Dassenko and Ramirez at 1250 Peach Street in San Luis Obispo.

Dr. Ramirez did a crown on one of my front teeth and the work done was beautiful and completely pain free. She ensured that the bite was perfect and that I was very comfortable with the result. I also had my dental cleaning done by MIchele A.and she made sure that I was very comfortable during the whole procedure. She also advised me on better ways to keep my gums and teeth healthy. Overall, I am very very pleased and grateful for the wonderful care.

This is such a caring group of people. As one who is terrified of dentistry, they are able to make me feel relaxed throughout whatever procedure they are doing.

Very professional with every aspect. i am able to schedule and re-schedule my appointments around my very complex work schedule. When having my dental work being done, the entire staff is knowledgeable in every aspect of dental work that is currently being done on myself. They use all the latest technology to give me a more comprehensive understanding of what I should or should not be doing.

I've been seeing Dr. Dassenko for about 20 years, and I love her and her staff. They all care so much about their clients. Dr. Dassenko really seems to emphasize ongoing education for herself and her staff, so they are always at the cutting edge of mouth care. Her hygienists are skilled and gentle, and very good at explaining and educating. I have a dead front tooth from an injury, and Dr. Dassenko built a beautiful crown for me. It looks so natural. The front office staff is friendly and professional. There's plenty of parking, and the atmosphere in the office is relaxing and positive. I highly recommend Dr. Dassenko and her staff.
