Our time surfing was amazing! We had such a great time with Eduardo. :)

Summer is super professional and friendly and Eduardo is a great instructor. Eduardo always had safety in mind and made sure we had all fun and no pain. My 14 year old daughter was up and surfing in 20 minutes from hitting the water. He even found a way to get me (47 year old out of shape dad) up and going in just a bit longer. We had a fantastic time and it was great bonding for me and my daughter. - Awesome!

We had a remarkable time surfing with Eddie! He quickly reviewed some basic safety concepts with us since this was not our first time surfing. We wanted to progress with our basic skills and he provided excellent instruction on reading the waves, positioning for the take off, and beginning to initiate turns. We'll definitely surf with Surf Yoga Maui the next time we're in Maui! Mahalo!

Both being beginners to yoga and surfing, My husband and I enjoyed the yoga session which helped to train and prepare us mentally and physically for the surf lesson. We felt safe and able to focus on the basics of learning to surf. Thank you to Summer and Edward for our favorite experience on Maui! It was so fun to catch waves together! I hope bring our kids next time;)

We surfed with surf yoga Maui as part of a wedding event. The staff were very knowledgeable in their instruction and gave each person individual attention while we were out in the surf. It was the first time my wife and I had surfed and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We will probably be able to rent surfboards whenever we are anywhere there is a surfing possibility. Thanks again to Summer and her staff!

The surfing lessons from Surf Yoga Maui were fantastic! Our instructor Eddie was extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He had our group of rookies from Seattle surfing on the second wave. Our group had a great experience, and I highly recommend taking lessons through Surf Yoga Maui!

We had the best time. Eduardo really helped us learn and was so encouraging. Really helped with confidence. It was also fun to hang out with him. The rest of the staff there were all really friendly too. Great Job you guys! We have already told folks about you guys and will continue to!

Summer and Eddie are great. Both very experienced in their respective fields. Yoga overlooking the ocean was amazing and Summer supplies the yoga gear (she won't even let you help her carry them because Eddie doesn't want your arms to get tired before surfing!). Eddie is an amazing surfer (ask him to surf on his head) and we were riding the wave in no time. If you like yoga and surfing, this is the perfect experience!

I booked a yoga/surf session online as a Christmas gift for my sisters family while vacationing on Maui. They have 5 teenage girls who all attend school away from home so their time together is precious and I wanted to give them a shared experience. Well, I received 150 pictures and have been named AUNTIE OF THE YEAR! for the choice. They all enjoyed the yoga and the surfing was over the top fun. It was perfect. There is a leap of faith in booking something like this online but rest assured, Surf Yoga lived up to my expectation of a great family experience - and we set the bar pretty high. I will book a similar session for myself and all my sisters for our women's trip this spring! Can't wait! Mahalo Summer.

Summer & Eddie were fantastic. They easily taught all 3 of us girls no problem, making us all feel safe and strong on the surf board. Was a rush getting up for the first time! Morning yoga with Summer is must do, she catered the class to our private lesson on the beach, warming up our back and shoulders for surfing. Great price, great experience, very safe and so much fun! I would recommend Surf Yoga Maui to anyone who wants a new challenge or simply have some fun on a surf board. Edouardo and his team are not only absolutely pros at what they do, but also very patient with beginners. After a short introduction on standing up on the board and provision of booties and rash guard, I stood my first wave. As a first timer I experienced semi- private and group lesson with Surf Yoga and had the time of my life. Mahalo! If you never try you’ll never know – love surf

My daughter and I experienced the semi-private lesson with Surf Yoga. We were both first timers and had the time of our life. After a quick 5 min safety lesson and instruction on standing up on the board, we hit the ocean. Surf Yoga had given us booties and rash guards so we were set. The instructor was fantastic and patient while still getting us out of our comfort zone to enjoy the experience. It was safe and full of surfing and we definitely had more fun than everyone else out there learning with other groups.

My experience with SurfYogaMaui was the perfect start to my best vacation ever. I really wanted to learn how to surf ... And Eduardo was an exceptional teacher. His clear direction and patient demeanor made it easy for me to relax and really enjoy learning. The surfing was GREAT fun! While this was my first surfing experience, I practice yoga often. Summer's yoga classes were a very enjoyable familiar practice to balance and compliment the surfing. She also took great care of me... From the recommendation of where to stay ... the hiking break... the lunch choices...to the wonderful fruit from her trees... Felt comfortable and cared for. I plan to come back again next year :).

SO MUCH FUN !!!!First time ever to try surfing and Eduardo was excellent with the 3 of us older rookies. The dry land instruction made us feel safe if we were to fall. We all got personalized attention , caught some waves and had a complete blast!! Great photos were available to purchase, too. I highly recommend Surf Yoga Maui

I went to Maui with a friend who practices yoga far more than I do, and who has never surfed (where I do have surfing experience) so we figured that Surf/Yoga would be a fun two days.. well, it was the FUNNEST!! First, Summer and Eduardo and their team have, hands down, the best attitudes! Their laid back positivity and kindness made every part of the two days we spent doing the surf/yoga packages awesome. As I mentioned, we had varying levels of experience, but we both felt that we had been pushed enough to have learned something while having a blast, and the constant encouragement and positivity meant that at no time (even when I was sweating just trying to touch my toes or when a wave flipped me over and stole a shoe...) did we feel discouraged or frustrated. We had such a great time after our first day that we invited friends to join us for our second day, and Summer was more than accommodating despite the last minute notice and the fact that we were changing numbers we had booked weeks in advance. It was absolutely no hassle and really great to share the experience. The ocean-side yoga "studio" was stunning, and Summer's knowledge of yoga could definitely challenge those more advanced. The location for surfing was more or less for beginners but there were enough waves to give all of us practice, and Eddie helped us push ourselves to get some of the bigger waves further out. I would definitely recommend Surf Yoga Maui to anyone and everyone - whether you are trying something new or working on established skills. We had an awesome time and look forward to doing it again!

This was the first time on a surf board for me and my husband, and our 10 y.o. son. What a blast we had! I really appreciated the time Eduardo spent with us on land, making sure we had the sequence down and a full understanding of safety before we hit the water. He was excellent! Very tuned in to each of us, making sure we were comfortable at all times. I will highly recommend Surf Yoga Maui to everyone I know. I also appreciated how quickly Summer responded to my email inquiry, scheduling us for lessons in a matter of hours, even though it was Easter weekend. Thank you Eduardo and Summer for a terrific surfing experience!

My Son, Daughter,Grandaughters all took part in surf lessons here, All instructors were professonial in manner, and instruction, safety was first and formost, My 8 yearold grand daughter was up on the second try after land lessons, My daughter and son also had a blast My 2, 4 year old granddaughters were also very happy that they were able to go out with the instructor and just paddle on the small waves on surf board. I highly reccommend this school and group of instructors,

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of taking both yoga classes and surf lessons from Surf Yoga Maui. Eduardo is a natural teacher and provided excellent private surf lessons. He started by providing a detailed dry land brief along with information on the surf location and its history. In the water, he tailored the lesson to my ability and really turbo-charged my progress (I can honestly say I learned as much in 2 hours with Eduardo as I would have in 2 weeks of surfing on my own). Having taken lessons from several schools over the years, Eduardo was by far my favorite teacher and brought real passion and enthusiasm to his classes. During my surf lessons, Summer spent the morning with my girlfriend for a private yoga class. Summer provided an amazing and unforgettable experience doing yoga while the sun peaked over the mountains and the ocean rippled in the distance. She customized the session to my girlfriend's skill and provided an experience that was both relaxing and challenging. Overall, we both had an amazing experience and Surf Yoga Maui was definitely the highlight of our trip

Thank you for the wonderful surf lesson. My entire family had a blast. My husband, 2 boys (age 7 & 8) and I enjoyed an early morning surf lesson that left us wanting more. The attention that the two instructors provided during our lesson was fabulous. They were friendly & had no problem teaching young children. We all got up & surfed to shore. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Looking forward to round 2.
