I've been seeing Dr. Ali for about five years and I've never had as good a relationship with, and as much trust in, a physician before. She's taken the time to get to know me and ask about my concerns. Rather than just using a stethoscope to listen to my heart, she actually listens to me. She's given advice about diet, exercise, lifestyle, and herbal supplements. She doesn't rush to prescribe medications, but of course will if the situation calls for them. In short, she combines friendliness and an open attitude with tremendous knowledge and professionalism. I've recommended her to my husband and friends.

I feel very blessed to have found Dr. Ali when relocating to new England after 30 years with the same PCP in my home state. DR. Ali is very knowledgeable, personable, and always works with me as a partner in my health care. Being very informative and supportive, she has earned my utmost trust and confidence. My experience with Zanjabee Integrative Medicine and Dr. Ali has revized my opinion of doctors. The long time staff is friendly, capable, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Ali herself has successfully integrated the very best practices from Eastern and Western medicine. Her extraordinary care is kind, competent, and wise. She offers each opinion and medical advice with humor, practicality, and love. Nowhere else has a RX with things like warm tea, breathing exercises,food suggestions,and vitamin combinations been dispensed along a hug and antibiotics. I love this doctor and her practice philosophy!! When I visit regularly for wellness checks, I feel like all of my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are always integrated to meet the goal of keeping me healthty in every way.

The staff at Zanjabee, Nicole and Francisco and Dr. Ali, are all superb. Dr. Ali is very thorough with her exams as well as great at communication - and Nicole and Francisco are wonderful with follow up, changing appointments and helping with information. The staff are always on-the-ball all the time - great response time. Nicole is great at getting right back to me through the portal with needed info. Plus they ALL are a joy to deal with. I loved how long Dr. Ali spent with me trying to get to know me and understand my problems/issues and overa health. Her review with me was comprehensive and holistic; her approach to any of my issues was also holistic. I have been searching for a primary care doctor who made me feel like I was heard and didn't rely solely on a prescription pad for every issue and I have finally found one! I can't say enough about how amazing working with her is and how much more comfortable I feel than I have ever felt.

I switched to Zanjabee because I was looking to find a PCP that would take time to talk with me. I've had bad luck with previous doctors who were critical and dismissive, if not outright patronizing, and very hard to engage when nervous or struggling with something. I also wanted someone who was open to alternative practices -- someone who would be able to provide lifestyle advice, not just prescribe meds, and help with a few specific things. Dr. Ali mentors her staff, which I see as a positive overall. But I found it a bit unnerving at first to have an intern present during every exam & discussion. (She did ask, and I didn't want to make an issue of it, but after a few visits I was less enthusiastic about always being a subject for observation.) I almost said something, but then the last couple visits were different, so she may have sensed my need for more 1-1 interaction. I may be in the category of clients who, being relatively healthy, just needed someone I could open up to. So far I've found her advice to be on target, and firm enough to help me focus on the changes I needed to make. She has been very responsive to my questions, and warm & kind overall. I can't speak to her practice for people with more specific or chronic illness, but so far I'm pretty happy. And getting good results from her advice & support.

I have been extremely comfortable since switching my Primary Care to Dr. Ali. She has listened carefully to all my concerns, and has taken the time to write up diets to follow to help with my blood sugar and colitis. I feel I am in very capable hands, and I'm fortunate to have someone who will actually "listen" to me

Having a family history of high cholesterol, I was told by my primary care doctor that the only way to lower my my numbers was with the use of drugs. I found Dr. Ali and worked with her for 3 months, making diet and exercise changes. I brought my high risk numbers into the normal range. I'm no longer at risk of a heart attack or stroke and I feel vibrant and fit. Dr. Ali educates and empowers, putting your health into your own hands.

Dr. Ali is a great doctor. She is very easy to talk to, and truly cares about my health and well-being. The office staff are also very friendly and great at what they do. I highly recommend Zanjabee Integrative Medicine to anyone seeking a new primary care physician.

I really enjoy my visits with Dr. Ali. She goes into great detail on any questions I ask and helps me understand "me". She is very caring about her patients and I really like that she treats more holistically than with medicine. Her staff is extremely nice as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ali's since 2014 and have always been happy with the care she has provided. However, when I recently had what could have been a serious health problem, Dr. Ali provided care and compassion beyond any I'd received from any other physician. She stayed right on top of the situation, referred me to other health care providers for the proper care, and diligently followed up with me. Most importantly, she never tried to minimize my symptoms and never made me feel like I was overreacting -- something I've experienced in the past with other health care providers. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone who seeks comprehensive healthcare from a caring and compassionate physician.

Dr Ali is outstanding. In 30 years I am sad to say I had never found a doctor that was attentive, helpful or caring until I met her. The staff is also consistently pleasant and on the ball without fail. There is a huge disconnect in the medical community and Dr Ali bridges that gap. She takes the time to listen and fully understand what is going on with your health whether big or small. As someone who has suffered with stomach/digestive issues for years this was huge for me. I had been through many other PCP's and specialists in the large hospital systems and was always brushed off or told that no one had an answer for me. Her practice of combining eastern and western methods for treatment is practical, intelligent and most importantly successful! ALL medical professionals should take a page from her book. If more doctors took the approach that Dr Ali does I am certain we would have many more happy and healthy patients.

Hello I like the office and the doctor. I like the feedback and advice that I am getting, and it is effective. The office staff has been friendly and professional. The thing that does bother me, although it may be petty, is the phone calls. Before I went there for my first appointment, I received a robocall telling me that if I didn't show up, there would be a fine. Then I received a call from a person to confirm the appointment, which I did. Then I received a subsequent robocall to confirm the same thing. If my wife wasn't already a client, I would have canceled. On the second appointment, I confirmed, then received another warning robocall. Assuming that someone is going behave discourteously or unprofessionally before you even meet them is not a good way to welcome a new client. And to continue it after you meet the client, without cause, perpetuates the problem. I am a mature responsible adult. I don't need multiple warnings per appointment. If I confirm, then I will be there, unless there's a good reason not to be. If I miss the appointment, then it is already abundantly clear that I will be fined. I believe I signed a paper to the same effect (again, prior to even my first appointment). Your practice of doing this is probably based on previous bad experiences, but I for one don't appreciate this aspect of your business. It makes unwarranted assumptions and is not welcoming. I'm offering this feedback only because it was requested. I wouldn't have brought it up otherwise. Thank you John Allard

Basmaa Ali has shared her knowledge and given me directions and goals. I am so happy to be taking a Holistic approach to my health. In the 6 months I have been following her suggestions and trying new ways of eating and exercising I am well on my way to my fitness and weight goals and enjoying an extremely active lifestyle. I have started Yoga and am currently reading up and starting Tai Chi.....I am finding a better me! I also find my energy is able to be felt and seen by others including strangers and have met many folks of interest at related events and gatherings. I am enjoying each sunrise and embracing every day. No pain, Great energy, Positive thoughts. Thanks for the realistic and positive energy Basmaa shares. Tumeric Milk is now a daily drink. My digestion is superb and my fitness levels continue to improve. I highly recommend considering this practice and to listening and following her approach. Old ways are better in so many ways!

Dr. Ali is very intelligent and a great doctor. She gets right to the point and knows what she is doing. Francisco and Nicole are also very polite, kind and professional. I am very satisfied with zanjabee integrative medicine and will absolutely continue to have Dr. Ali as my primary care doctor. Communication with the office is also great, they respond quickly to emails. It's great how they are up to date with technology, the portal is great.
