This is, hands down, the best Dermatology group there is. You walk in and Jeri greets you with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor; she’s exactly what you want when you walk into a drs office. Jill, my favorite nurse, is so attentive and caring. She makes me feel so at ease when I come in to see Dr Blackmer. I have an auto immune disease that is quite painful and she will do anything she can to help calm my nervousness. Then there’s Dr. Blackmer, by far the best Dermatologist. I thank God for this man. He has taken such great care of me and really helped me with everything this disease has thrown at me. I couldn’t be more thankful for this group of people!

From the very beginning of my treatment, all of the folks at the office have gone above and beyond for me in my treatment. They treat me so well and I feel like they take such good care of me. I appreciate their concern and their compassion. I am particularly grateful for Aaron Blackmer and Jill. I am so appreciative that they not only are excellent at their jobs but also such good and caring people.

Nurse Jill and PA Aaron Blackmer are most definitely a DERMATOLOGIC POWER TEAM. I highly recommend them and have, in fact, sent out their office contact info this week to four people looking for skin care. I am thankful to have found this DYNAMIC DUO. Great care and positive results each visit.

In this time of COVID-19, I think it’s more important than ever to be aware of protecting and caring for our skin. I had some sun spots that were bugging me so I made an appointment with DLVS for this morning. When I arrived, I was greeted with smiling eyes above a shielded mask. After my temp check, I was led to safe seating. What a great way to start my day at Dr. Munavalli’s knowing I was in a caring and safe environment. My appointment went well! In return, I want to thank Dr. Munavalli and his team for always being close by..may it be that I have an medical concern or receiving a tweak to voluntarily enhance my skin :)

I usually only deal with Valerie and Krsytle for my needs and they have been the best medical team. Krystle is super efficient and diligent at what she does. Thorough, also. Shes kind and patient and I find that she knows just as much as Val. I tend to ask her questions so I wont forget to ask when Val comes in to see me, and Krystle always knows the answer, the same answer Val would give. I trust Krystle's recommendations and knowledge. She's never failed me. Val has such a cheerful and kind disposition and the most important thing I could say is that she LISTENS. many providers dont listen to your concerns but Valerie took the time to DILIGENTLY listen to my history and current ailments, and examine me to find a better solution than any of the other 5 or 6 docs I've seen to address my HS in the past. Valerie got things done. and FAST. She seems genuinely concerned with finding solutions specific to the individual case, as well as concerned with the progress moving forward. The front desk/ admin team, however, is a different story. I've had many negative experiences with a few of those team members. It's almost impossible to believe that the front desk/admins and the medical staff work for the same boss, because their customer relations are completely different. On more than one occasion, I've had more than one admin/front desk member be rude and nasty without prompts. Not to mention, not even offer a greeting before being nasty. I come to as many of the events that you guys have, when my schedule permits, and have met a few other providers and it's still just that select few of the front desk staff that is rude. the providers and medical assistants,themselves have superb bedside manner and just manners, period. always courteous and warm. It is truly and solely because of the character and WORK of Krystle and Valerie (and the other actual providers) that I continue my treatment here. Otherwise, I would've left after my first ever check-in experience. I think the front desk team needs some re-training on customer service. Or maybe find different careers....

Everyone was friendly and professional, describing treatment plan, pros and cons. Results were exactly as described and I am completely satisfied.

It was great ! I think In my 80 years of life, Valerie is one of my most favorite health care providers, She seems to have all the skills & caring, that you would want in a health care provider!! But on the down side, when my wife told the receptionist that the handicap bathroom was a mess, she was told that the bathroom was not your responsibility, ( your clients use that bathroom!) but if my wife wanted to report it, she could take the elevator & go down 6 floors & find someone to report it! But she surely not going to clean it! ( the receptionist) So my wife walk away! This type of attitude really cast a shadow on your practice!

My husband had noticed a place on my back that needed to be looked at. Jill and Aaron made the experience very comfortable. I drove a considerable distance because I trust Aaron Blackmer.

Always a great experience with friendly staff! Dr. Blackmer is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend becoming a patient at Dermatology, Laser & Vein Specialists of the Carolinas!

Everyone was very friendly. No wait time what so ever. initially concerned about feeling uncomfortable but that was not the case.

Enjoyed my visit to the Dermatology Laser and Vein center last week. It was my first time visiting the Park Road extension location. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. One thing to note is that parking is a bear at this location so you need to arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you get there on time! Other than that, it is a great office and I will be going back!

I had a body check. Valerie was very thorough. She and her assistant told me about other services offered that I was asking about but not pushy, just informative. I visited the “store” on my way out and bought two items and felt very informed about what I bought. It was an excellent experience!!
