I never dreamt I'd lose my father at 45 yrs old and, needless to say, was not prepared, figuratively or literally. I can't imagine the Death of A Loved One is ever easy or without the unexpected, and my father's passing was no exception. Struggling to handle the "Learn-As-You-Go" whilst Broken-Hearted, Kevin Marcy, and all those in his employ, were never anything but Understanding, Kind, and Patient. Never too busy to take a phone call, never too busy to look into any one of the many questions, never too busy to handle an already Difficult Process that had to be conducted over state lines. Their service was Impeccable, their Attentiveness Without Peer, but most of all, their Kindness and Understanding stood out amongst Everything and Everyone Else involved in this Seemingly Insurmountable Process of the Loss of A Loved One. Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation Services made a very painful situation tolerable, manageable, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as an alternative to a typical funeral home. Our experience with Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation Services was truly excellent during our time of need. The loss of our father during in home hospice was not a surprise, but difficult emotionally. The staff was so kind, professional and thorough. Each member of the staff did everything possible to ease our burden, anticipate our needs and follow through thoroughly. They know their business and their customers benefit from that experience. From a financial sense, the cremation service was extremely reasonable. Additionally, the respectful way my dad's body and remains were handled was comforting and heart warming. We highly recommend this professional service.

I was very pleased with the way everything was handled in the death of my daughter. Staff was extremely kind and considerate of my feelings at that time. Gentlemen who came to pick up Mr. Cross were sympathetic in my loss. They handled my husband's body with care and dignity. They were helpful in getting the paperwork and finances straightened out. This saved me precious money outlay from the charges I received from the Cemetery people. It was easier dealing directly with the funeral home. The funeral home answered all my questions, and proceeded with arrangements quickly. Thank you for helping me. I was so confused and Ga. Funeral Care informed me and put my mind at ease at a most vulnerable and sad time.

My son passed away unexpectedly and during this time of shock and devastation we were given the name of Ga. Funeral Care by April. We found the entire staff to be professional and very caring. The service for my son was lovely and exceeded my expectations. Words cannot express how grateful we are. I would highly recommend Ga. Funeral Care. We were so impressed that we are going to schedule a time with the staff to discuss pre-planned arrangements for me and my husband.

I reside in San Diego, CA, and I received the word on October 3rd, 2015 that my father was sick and had only a few hours (or so) to live! So, I did some research on the internet and located Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation, in Atlanta, GA where my father resided. So, I contacted Kevin and he was awesome and very helpful! From my initial phone call to the pick up of my dad's ashes and finally his death certificate(s), I was treated w/kindness, dignity and professionalism. My dad had specifically requested that he be cremated. Moreover, Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation Services was very reasonable and never pressured me in any way to spend more than I originally expressed. Kevin was very helpful and provided the necessary services I needed in a professional and caring manner.

Georgia Funeral Care there director Kevin was so much help in my time of need, the pricing was so much less than the other Funeral Homes that we called. Very professional staff, I have already recommended them to other people. thank you Kevin and your staff for everything.

My father was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with mets to the liver which he succumb to August 31, 2015. He had no life insurance and that left me having to pay for his funeral expenses. After speaking with several funeral homes in the area that wanted outrageous prices and I didn't feel really warmth with them at all. It was as if I was just another customer. I realized that Georgia Funeral care also is the same as Dreamland pet cremations and from the past experience I have had with them taking care of people's fur babies I called them. They were extremely caring and understanding to my situation they made me feel as if this was normal and there prices were definitely reasonable. Kevin came to my house personally when my father passed and immediately gave his condolences and did not push me in any way about paperwork or money. He advised me on what to do and gave great suggestions from his experience. Kevin handled me and my family as if we were paying a million dollars. His staff was extremely nice and the facility was very classy and not your basic dread that you get at funeral home. I could go on about them all day but I definitely recommend them to ANYBODY that is need of arrangements for their human family or four legged family. My 1st experience with planning a cremation was made much less stressful because Georgia Funeral Care provides an understanding service that's reasonably priced. Every detail was handled professionally and compassionately. I have told my siblings that we will be using Ga. Funeral Care for our parents when the time comes.

I would like to Thank Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation services for everything you and your Staff done for me in this tragic time for my Family and myself. as you know we had some trouble on getting the Death Certificate's back but that was Kennestone Hospital's hold up and not your fault at all. I had Matt helping me with that and I did talk to other staff members,but I am so sorry I can't remember their names. Mr. Marcy I would recommend anyone to use your service's it was very pleasant experience dealing with your company more than the other Company's I dealt with in the past. I found GFC through the Memorial Society of Ga. This establishment is a top-notch, class act. From the very first contact to finalizing our requested service, the staff was most courteous and professional. They were prompt in answering and returning calls, efficient in explaining the details for our service, and did everything they said they would do. Staff was very sensitive, with absolutely no high pressure sales pitches. They really offered service that was nothing short of dignified and timely, yet affordable. My thanks to Mr. Marcy and staff for a truly pleasant experience. I highly recommend without reservation.

Prompt, supportive service from our first phone call through the final contact picking up death certificates. Excellent pricing for cremation. No pressure to add unwanted additional services. Very professional and understanding. Only suggestion is to be extra careful completing paperwork. I found 2 inaccuracies on the death certificates.
