At our Johns Island Main Road Self Storage Facility, we are dedicated to serving families and businesses on Kiawah, Seabrook, Johns and Wadmalaw Islands. We take the safety and security of your belongings seriously at our self-storage facility on Johns Island. We offer self-storage units with and without climate control as well as boat storage and RV storage. We have a state-of-the-art security system that includes 24/7 video surveillance, security lighting and 7-day access with a PIN code entry.

Main Road Storage was exceptionally helpful scheduling my one way rental. They made suggestions so my out of state drive was safe and economical. I had considered a 20ft vs 15ft truck and the staff spent time over 2 separate visits prior to my rental to make sure I selected the correct size as well as one I could drive confidentially. The equipment was well maintained. The facility is clean, well equipped w supplies necessary to accomplish a pack and move. I highly recommend this location. We have already shared our positive experience w our friends and neighbors.

The team at Main Road Storage is always so helpful! They are very patient while answering questions and explaining things to me. I’d much rather call them or deal with them! I know I’ve spoken to Matthew several times and he’s been great! (Sorry I don’t have other names but the whole team is awesome.)

We had misplaced our key on 5/7 and needed to replace the lock and the Manager was incredibly nice and efficient as he snapped the old lock off and replaced the lock for us. This same manager had helped us replace the lock a few years ago( we are really forgetful :))...a really great location for storage with a fair price, good facilities and a very helpful staff.

Main Road Self Storage is extremely secure and accessing the units is easy with your own personal code. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly, and I’ve never seen a cleaner storage facility or units. Highly recommend Matt and his team for any kind of storage or moving needs!

We have had a wonderful experience with Main Road Self Storage and Matt Whisman. We had never used Self Storage before but Matt made everything so easy. The units are immaculate, access is so easy, and the facility is well lit and we feel very safe there. Matt took the time to answer all of our questions. Main Road Self Storage has everything you need from boxes to locks and they are less expensive than the big box stores. We can't say enough good things about Main Road Self Storage and Matt Whisman.

I can’t express enough how great the experience was dealing with “RJ” at the Main Rd location. He was exceptionally helpful, informative, personable and knowledgeable. He explained every thing thoroughly and it made it easier to get through our moving process. Prior to meeting him I had also talked with two females I called prior to picking up the Tralee we rented and they were both very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I did not get their names. Matt and the rest of the staff at Main Road Storage have made the entire process so easy. As someone who is not in town full time, access and security were high on my list of necessities and the facilities are second to none. Could only hope that dealing with all businesses was so enjoyable.

Excellent office staff both on the phone for initial call and once there at the facility. Smooth process and new and clean facility with another addition being built as well. Great location and ease for moving truck to obtain access as well as dropping things off later on your own.

I dealt with Team Leader Mark Whisman and Service Rep Sarese at Main Road Storage regarding rental of a car-transport trailer. They were very professional, extremely friendly, and very competent. They found a good solution for the trailer that others had not been able to come up with. I would readily go back to them, and I recommend them highly.

RJ did an amazing job at getting me in and out to get my truck quickly and efficiently. What please me most was the great Customer service from the staff of only 2! RJ informed me they were on short staff. Overall great experience.
