I am completely satisfied with the job Ramon and his helper did. The area was as clean when they left as it was when they got here. I plan to request Ramon for some more work in the near future.

Point Loma Electric were a delight to work with. Our old (1926) house needed emergency electrical work on Christmas weekend, and Point Loma electric not only came out quickly (under 30 min), but also were incredibly thorough. Over the course of a couple days of work we had Charlie, Trent and David - and each one of them was amazing. Thanks again everyone!

From the first call to Point Loma Electric through the end of the work, we experienced first rate customer service. We ended up having to install a new electrical panel. Point Loma Electric came to my house and fixed four outdoor ground fault recepticals. The two electricians found the problems a gave me a quote for the repairs. I found the price to be a bit high at first but after I saw all the work involved I thought the price was fair. I will use Point Loma electric again. Richard Lane

We had an excellent experience with Point Loma Electric from the first experience with Mr. Phillips to the final experience with Taylor and Justin. The quality of work was excellent, neatness and clean up was very good also and responsiveness to questions and calls were always returned within a timely manner. The Quiet Fan does an excellent job of cooling the house off.

I was very pleased with Ramon's and David's work. They were quick, courteous, and very professional! All of my furniture was put back, and they kept the areas clean, and did a marvelous job! I have some other work for them to do, and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

I knew I had a lot of small electrical problems - switches that no longer worked, a hot switch plate cover, constant trips outside to reset the fuses, but I wasn't sure who to call. I saw Point Loma Electric's advertisement in the San Diego Union-Tribune, looked them up on Yelp, and took a chance. I couldn't be happier. Ramon spent the morning at my house, thoroughly explained what needed to be done and was very patient and answered all my questions. I couldn't take care of all the problems at once, but he fixed the most crucial problems and helped make a plan for future work. I would definitely recommend Point Loma Electric for any electrical work you need to have done.

Had previously used Point Loma Electric for some wiring mods in our garage so expected good, but not cheap, work when our 8 year old Bosch dishwasher stopped working. First called a factory certified appliance repairman who thoroughly disassembled/reassembled it before announcing it was an electrical problem - instead of 120v the dishwasher was only getting 55v. Called and got on Point Loma's standby list and they fit me in early the next day. Evidently their $30 service fee is just for them showing up - they listened to my story then wanted $250 for a 'Level 1 Diagnostic and Quick Repair' - with no guarantee they could find or fix the problem. I was skeptical that a quick repair was possible since the dishwasher was on a dedicated 20 amp circuit - if it wasn't the unit itself, must be either the circuit breaker or wiring in between, right?? Charlie & Edgar troubleshot and bounced ideas off each other for about an hour and I was beginning to imagine torn out walls to repair a rat chewed wire somewhere. Then Edgar had the idea to check nearby electrical outlets - bingo. They found a loose neutral wire which meant that outlet was working fine but was intermittently causing problems with the dishwasher. Interesting fact: that outlet hadn't been worked on for over 18 months, when we had the kitchen counter tops replaced. They quickly fixed the problem and everything is running properly again. In all, an excellent diagnostic by smart, personable professionals - and don't regret the cost at all. Highly recommended.

We required a 40 amp circuit to replace a 30 amp circuit for a newly installed cooktop and a panel restoration. The 40 amp had to run in conduit around the outside of the house due to the house construction. Charley and David did the estimate and Taylor did the restoration and Adam ran the conduit. They all seemed to work well together in pairs, had the right equipment and tools and finished the jobs in one day. The work looks good and the cooktop works great now. (My wife loves it!) They cleaned up the worksites and caulked the holes. Good job!

Jon Delmar came to install a ceiling fan for us two days ago and he was very professional and pleasant, gave us advice, and all around it was a pleasure having him come to help us. We have had extensive work done in our older house by your company and we are very pleased with every aspect of the work. Thank you.

We needed to have our 1959 house rewired to bring it up to code. We interviewed three contractors, including Point Loma Electric. The estimator, Charlie, was courteous and very knowledgeable. Charlie’s review and estimate for the work was thorough and very professional. The quoted price was very competitive and made the selection process difficult. The discriminators were knowledge of current processes and solar expansion capability as well as the fixed-price contract which made the final decision to go with Point Loma the obvious choice. Charlie indicated that the work would take five days to complete and then SDG&E would be scheduled to shut off service for the final installation of the new service entry to the house. The work commenced on a Monday and was completed the following Friday, as promised. Charlie and his crew: David, Nigel, and Justin are well organized, courteous, and professional. They made sure all furniture was covered during the work and the rooms were cleaned up at the end of each day. Charlie is a consummate professional and he manages his crew most effectively. Each morning the goals for the work were outlined and the work completed was reviewed at the end of the day. His crew exhibited what we call in the military “Espirit de corps”, his management style is inclusive meaning he isn’t just a manager but a member of the working crew as well, ensuring the work is progressing on schedule without undo pressure on the crew members. Damage to the walls was minimal and patching was applied where necessary. My thanks to Charlie and his crew for making a very difficult job look easy and to Point Loma Electric for exceeding my expectations!

Great service, Ramon was very helpful in identifying the problem with my electrical, suggesting several options for repairs. Since my home is over 45+ years old we decided to have the wiring updated. I am very pleased with their work, and would definitely recommend Point Loma Electric.

Pretty sure we just found "our" electrician for any future electrical needs. In Nov., they installed two outside sec. lites. On Feb. 1, they installed a new 200 amp elec panel. The guys were upfront about exactly what they were going to do and how much it would cost. I had high expectations going in because you guys rewired most of my house a few years ago, so there's not much more to say except: the lights are on, I know what still needs doing down the road, and from what they showed me about my part in the problem, I will limit my electrical "work" to nothing more complicated than changing a lightbulb. BRAVO!
