The electrician were send to my house within half hour after my phone call. The work is awesome. They came in not knowing what my electrical problem was. After a quick troubleshoot, they were in and out ofy house within two hours. They make sure everything is clean and working. Just wondering how they calculate their estimate.

I had a big problem in my restored 1925 spamish revival home. The fuse box was still from the 60s, no longer servicable or UL approved, my neutrals were burning out my appicance and short circuiting different parts of my home, one area at a time over the course of weeks, leaving me with no electricity in vital parts of my home and one socket had gone up in flames, always have a estinguisher in a few places in your home. I had several estimates, and had two friends reccomend Point Loma Electric because they not only know what they are doing but experienced in older homes. I have a sizable investment in my home and its restoration and I wanted the best available. Thats what I got. YES they are more expensive then the other quotes, you get what you pay for. From the first call into their offices to the initial visit from Justin the lead electrician, everything was very professional, personable. He checked everything out and and informed me of What the problem was and what I needed was made very clear. Justin was not pushy like the other guys I had over for an inspection and quote. The choice was mine. I was informed that they could do it anytime, but needed to get an on and off date and time with work order from the SDGE and that could take 4-6 weeks and sometimes more. Fortunately I know someone at SDGE and Justin and his team were able to do the work short of 2 weeks later. They arrived on time, installed everything, tested all the outlets and electial switches in the house, tested and marked the box so I know which switches are for what areas, checked and fixed a couple of outlets that were not wired correctly when a prior electrician had put in a sub panel in my kitchen. My overall experience was that Point Loma Electirc does excelent work, timely, go the extra mile, cleaned up meticulously then they were finished, carted away all the old box, tubes and wires, answered all my questions. It is worth every penny knowing all the electrical problems are now resolved and that Point Loma Electic is committed and available for any and all problems or issues that may come up. I sure have peace of mind now. Definately going to use them in the future.

I had a very good experience with Point Loma Electric's customer service and electricians. I was given prompt service, and as well as being affordable the work was of a very high quality. I have used them twice in the last month and will continue to count on them as my Electricians!!

Ramon came to the house on Tuesday, responding to a problem with the plugs. He arrived on time and was courteous, patient, and totally professional. He listened attentively to our questions and concerns and addressed all of them. He gave helpful suggestions and fixed a problem we didn't know existed. Never once did he seem hurried.
