Appreciated the beforehand call -- Charlie arrived at the scheduled time, put on his booties every time he entered the house, observed the problem, and proceeded to take care of it along with his partner Jason who arrived later. when your smoke detectors start going off in the middle of the night for no apparent reason, and the most recent event happens the day before you are leaving your home for 2-weeks, it's nice to have a company like Pt. Loma Electric to fit you into a full schedule and get it fixed before you leave. That's why we call them first and only. We have had this kind of service since we moved in two years ago.

On Mon. 8/17/2015, around 5 p.m.., we smelled burning plastic. We called the fire dept., who could not solve the problem but suggested we call an electrician. My husband had heard your ads on TV for quite some time, so we called you. The owner happened to be there still and answered the phone explaining the procedure her co. would do and quoted us a very reasonable rate. Ramon, an inspector for Pt. Loma, arrived at 10:00 a.m. Wed., 8/19. He explained what he was going to do for us in great detail. He spect a good amount of time looking over the garage, the whole house, and climbed up into our high attic. He then explained again in great detail what we needed to do for our old house and also told us the smell had come through our heating/ac ducts from the attic and the motherboard up there was burned. He also showed up a pic of the motherboard. He sent 17 pics to our email address for future reference. I have now called our insurance co. to see if our coverage will help us repair that item. Your co. doesn't do that repair, but his pic will help us greatly. He also sent an estimate of what your co. can do to make our house up-to-date and modern as far as electrical goes. When we are able, we would contact your co. to complete that work. Workers were on time, very polite, and the quality of work was outstanding. They took time to demonstrate the operation of the equipment and answered all of my questions. Pt Loma Elecrical was great. Their technitions were on time, and worked diligently until the problems were solved. Our home is custom, designed by Ken Kellogg, whose beautiful designs make electrical and plumbing repairs more difficult than usual. Nonetheless, they stuck to their original bid and we had the benefit of the project being supervised by the owner. We were happy with the result, appreciated their integrity and work eithics. Great techs with excellent supervision

Ramon and his crew were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The work was completed with no problems. They cleaned up afterwards and did a fantastic job overall.

I strongly recommend Point Loma Electric to anyone who needs the services of an electrician. I had hired them to add a circuit in my garage a year ago which was a good experience and called them as soon as an SDG&E troubleshooter isolated our power fluctuations to the main circuit breaker. I called PLE and they were here in a few hours. They replaced the main breaker for a temporary fix, however this was only partly effective. We only had a few working circuits in the house. so I authorized them to replace the panel. They indicated that it could take weeks to get SDG&E to come out and shut off the power so they could replace the panel. Through the vigilance of the owners, Jim and Jamie Dent and some help from SDG&E friends they were able to replace my panel a few days later. I was lucky to get the owner, Jim Dent on my project. Jim is a master electrician with 40 years of experience. He got the panel replaced and power back on by 4 pm. He repaired two outlets and did not charge me for this or the temporary replacement of the main breaker. This is a class organization and I will call them first if i ever need an electrician again.

Point Loma Electrical responded to a partial electrical outage at my home within two hours of calling, and the electricians were able to trace and fix the problem at a reasonable rate. The electricians were diligent, clean, and respectful. They showed me the problem once discovered, explained the necessary repair, and were very transparent from the beginning regarding potential costs. The experience was friendly and extremely professional from beginning to end. More businesses should perform at this level. I'm a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend their services.

Point loma electric was an amazing find! They were professional and courteous. We had an emergency that needed attention right away and they came right to the rescue! My company will continue to use them for all our electrical needs. I have also passed on the info to my other property management friends!

Ramon was the lead electrician on my house. He was friendly and took the time to thouroughly explain the work. The job required making a little mess and he was careful not to damage anything and cleaned up after the work was complete. Very professional!

Your team did an outstanding job; efficient, clean, & working perfectly. They also educated me about my fuse box & it's limitations for future growth. Point Loma Electric installed a new electirc box at our house which entailed some tricky rewiring. They did a very good job and were very professional. The team of Justin, Charlie and Devon were great. I was impressed that Jim, the owner, came by to check on the project. I will definitely hire Point Loma Electric again in the future.
