Before I came to Above Dental, I had struggled to get any kind of availability at multiple dental facilities around Coos Bay. I haven’t had my teeth looked at or properly cleaned by a dentist/hygenist for years. I called Above Dental hoping to get a new patient exam and possibly a follow up teeth cleaning, they got me into a new patient exam THE SAME DAY! They were also able to schedule a teeth cleaning the very next morning. I was concerned about how much buildup there was, and a small possibly amount of gum receding. All the front desk ladies were all very friendly and informative, I also had to pay out of pocket and they were very accommodatable to my needs and payment plans. I saw Dr. Nicholas initially for the new patient exam, and he was very informative and communicative. He made suggestions and explained things to me very efficiently, he also helped me figure out a future plan to slowly fix the small amount of receding in my gums. I definitely suggest him to be your next doctor! The next day I had Binh as my hygienist, and she was the biggest reason why I will always come back to Above Dental from now on. She was very kind and understanding about my situation, she did her job very well and made me comfortable through the whole process. She always asked me if I was doing okay, and was checking in on me. She even showed me a before and after pictures with X-Rays to show me the results. She did the teeth cleaning in a timely fashion and was very detailed, which in all was very efficient and effective! She was also able to help me out with payment options, and was very affordable and understanding that I had to pay out of pocket and did not have insurance. She gave very good suggestions for me to keep my teeth properly healthy and to keep them cleaned properly. I feel like I have a brand new set of teeth! I definitely suggest Binh, in all, she is an amazing hygienist! Phenomenal service at Above Dental and a wonderful team.

Binh is my hygienist and I appreciate how she treats me with care and compassion. She goes the extra mile to reserve I need topical numbing for my cleaning and always stops periodically to ask how I’m doing during the treatment. Binh has been my dental hygienist for many years now, when it was Apple Dental in the former building.She,along with Dr. Brice,taught me in the beginning how to maintain healthy teeth. And her advice has been very successful! Binh took away my fear of a dentist office, by her compassion & kindness, and non- threatening manner. ALL THE STAFF here are THE BEST! I have been a client of Above Dental for 6 years. Binh, has been my dental hygienist for the entire time. she is a caring, knowledgeable person with a kind, gentle manner. She is always engaging and informative about any potential issue regarding my oral hygiene. I trust her. Also I believe I receive a high quality of care. It’s such a delight getting to visit Binh! Seems like I’m visiting a friend that cleans my teeth. She’s welcoming, gentle, and is always making sure I am comfortable. The patient engagement with prizes and sweepstakes/raffles are a fun addition as well. From the doctors to the front office staff, everyone is so genuinely nice it feels more than just a dental office. I absolutely hated going to the dentist. But the experience I have had here and the care you’ve given to both me and my husband has been remarkable. This is the nicest well organized office I've ever had the pleasure to see.The people are kind.The doctor was painless. And the price was so reasonable I almost cried. And on top of everything else! I got a free gift and a gift certificate for a local restaurant. They believe in giving back to the community. Their business model is really amazing. I wish all doctors ran their office so well. Love this place ❤️

Binh is the absolute best dental hygienist ever, she is warm and friendly and ensures both comfort and quality. She is amazing at cleanings & doing X-rays extremely fast and without triggering my gag reflex lol! It was a great experience as a new patient. Reception a dental assistances were friendly, helpful and did excellent in getting you comfortable with ease while getting history info for dentist. I was impressed with the efficiency the dentist and hygienist with my exam and cleaning.They took the time to share info, give tips and ask how i was and if I had any questions. Best experience ever when I was nervous. They had a comfort list and you can view out a skylight window.The kid in me loved the kind basket of gifts and items I I could pick from a bin of dental goodies. Thank you so much!! I'll be back in 6 mos.

I had an appointment today to get my teeth cleaned. I was very pleased with my visit from start to finish. It is the second time that Binh has cleaned my teeth. She is wonderful! She is very thoughtful and caring. I hope she will be my RDH for the foreseeable future. I will recommend her and Above Dental to all my Friends and Family.
