Friendly, efficient, and expedient

Upon arriving to my dentist appointment at Above Dental, they were very professional and welcoming. I’ve lived overseas for the last 24 years, haven’t been to a Dentist states side, since I was a kid. Had a lot of questions and have heard of a lot of stories, where people have been ripped off and services rendered were less than transparent. Above Dental went over and beyond most places in friendliness, and answered all my questions and were very transparent in their prices and services! Above Dental is above all. Highly recommend their dental services

I had quite a bit of work done on my teeth today with a few different people in the office and I couldn’t have asked for better care. The first thing I had done was a permanent crown set in place. Because this went so smoothly and easily, there was enough time for the dental assistant to take a full set of x-rays to assist the the dental hygienist who was going to clean my teeth immediately after my crown being set. I loved they way the whole office seems to work together as a team. Sarah did an amazing job cleaning my teeth as usual. She is the reason I started using this office and I am grateful for the care I have received since coming here. After my dental cleaning and exam I was told I needed a filling. Because of the great teamwork, I was able to get that taken care of directly offer my cleaning. It had to be done by another Dr. in the office, but it really doesn’t matter which Dr. has worked on my teeth, I have always been completely satisfied with all of the services from this office. They are very efficient without being stuffy. The two Drs., two dental assistants, one dental hygienist, and front office staff that I interacted with today was extremely friendly, informative and kind. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the entire Above Dental office!

The folks at Above Dental aren't just a professional health care team, some of them are like family (but without the petty bickering). I experience joy by seeing their joy,knowing that they really care. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist; I separated the discomfort by seeing my friends, laughing and tell the occasional funny about Dr Bruce. My husband and I recently moved to Coos Bay from Wisconsin. I asked a coworker who she goes to for cleanings and she was happy to tell me good things about Above. I called to schedule an appointment and was pleased to be able to get in within a few days. Upon arrival I received a friendly tour of the office. Binh, my hygienist, greeted me with a warm smile and friendly face, and guided me through my x-rays and cleaning. She was gentle, and informative and happy to answer any questions. She listened, and shared with me. I met Dr. Craig Johnson who was very kind. He checked my teeth and answered my questions. I have to say my father was a dentist, I know what to look for and am very knowledgeable about dentistry having been his assistant. Above offers a state of the art facility with its own lab. The cleaning I received from Binh is no doubt the most thorough I have ever gotten. I would not hesitate to recommend Above to anyone I meet.

The work done at above dental has been excellent and very professional . In times of COVID -19, they take your safety seriously in providing a safe atmosphere, Binh Nguyen was very good in cleaning and making you feel comfortable. I would not hesitate in recommending above dental to all who would ask about dental care.

My husband and I switched to Above Dental upon a great recommendation from a close friend. Rick and I have very different dental needs - we were both really pleased with the quality of care which, frankly, far exceeded that which we had received during three years with another dental office. ABOVE's introduction to services is unique and cool! I don't want to spoil a pleasant surprise for you so please, check it out for yourself.. this includes inquiring into my preferences re several aspects of dental care - unique, & nice! (an unexpected, but very charming experience) BINH is my hygienist FOREVER now! BINH is super personable and if one can imagine, she's also fun. Yep. Had fun at the dentist! She also introduced a number of methods and products that I hadn't had presented prior to coming to ABOVE Dental. (I wasn't just handed a little baggie of useless things, like a child's toothrush, when leaving - we received dental aids specific to our needs) BINH delivered, literally, the most thorough cleaning I've ever had - spending easily twice the time I expected - and I appreciate the care she gave me, including the education. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MY NEXT VISIT TO THE DENTIST! My husband definitely wanted to continue with ABOVE Dental, too. He, too, was pleased with his care; and was very pleased that we could participate in their in-house "insurance" program - which includes a 15% discount.

I recently had my new patient appointment yesterday with Dr. Craig Johnson and Dental Hygienist Binh. I was referred to Above Dental by my coworkers who all said nothing but positive things about the staff and atmosphere there. I immediately felt welcomed and confident that I would have a positive experience there based on the interactions with the office staff. I was impressed by the interior and overall look of the dentistry. Establishing with new medical providers/staff is always hard but after my experience at Above Dental, I have nothing but great things to say. I also want to state that Dental Hygienist Binh was amazing. I instantly clicked with her and look forward to having her attend to my dental needs at my next appointments. She has great "bedside" manner, a warm/glowing personality, and such positivity that is naturally contagious! Overall, an outstanding dentistry and definitely one of my top five first-time experiences with a new dental office! Thank you for having me.

I had a cleaning last week and x-rays. Love the new x-ray machine. So quick and doesn't hurt the gums. Sara did my cleaning and is was quick and very efficient. She is great as was all the staff.

My cleaning was incredible. She was thorough, kind, compassionate and I left feeling like my teeth had never been so clean. I have always been pleased with the staff at this office, so much that I commute from quite a distance to stay with this office. They have multiple plans to help people who are uninsured stay up on their dental health too.

I’ve always had pleasant experiences at Above Dental, and today was no exception. Their waiting room is always warm and inviting with plenty of places to sit and magazines to read. I particularly enjoyed my visit with my hygienist, Binh. She was very personable and did a quick and thorough job at cleaning my teeth. Additionally, Binh was quite helpful when it came to taking images of my teeth in that she explained exactly what would be happening to my teeth so that I could prepare myself. I will continue to trust Above Dental with my dental health and plan to refer them to anyone who is in need of quality dental care.

Amazing experience from start to finish... their business model should be followed at all dental offices. I am high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist... however here my visit was far above any other office I have ever been to. Great job to every one I came into contact with... you were all consistent from start to finish. I can’t believe I’m about to say this... but I am looking forward to my next visit!!!

Great staff

I have been a patient at Above Dental for several years, treated by Dr. Brice for several procedures related to implants and bridges, and by Hygienist Binh twice yearly for dental cleaning/polishing. I have always received excellent care in a modern and well-equipped environment. All of the staff at Above Dental are friendly as well as highly professional, and they do all that is possible to make dental care visits as comfortable as possible, while helping patients achieve their good dental goals.

Everyone there is excellent. Especially my hygienist she always does a thorough and gentle job to make sure i’m comfortable and helpful in booking my next appointment. Also thank you for the convenience of providing the free floss toothpaste and toothbrushes. Above Dental is by far my favorite place to go for all my dental needs! I have had a cavity filled and a front tooth i waited for dentists as great as you provide to get it fixed. Keep up the awesome job everyone!
